Did the customary full-round (sans green) on the kid banner and got a +Atk -Spd Duo Robin, figures. Desire sensor successfully fooled? I wrote them off and don't even know what they do, heh.

I'm usually disinterested in the child banner at the best of times. This year is ...extra uninteresting. It's a combination of everyone being foot-locked, and the art. Take the Freddies and run.

Finishing the AHR spark and what a poor finish it was. No 5-stars from pulls #26 to #41, at which point I sparked Peony. Then I decided to break the 3.75% pity rate and did so on the very next and final pull.

They won't do Subaki because QR3 is clearly too premium to hand out at 4-star. They won't do Setsuna because the Brave Bow+ Quadsuna meta is clearly OP.

I interrupted my AHR schedule to do a full round on the returning heroes banner, and in doing so picked up my fifth Rearmed Ophelia. That's likely more Arcane Eclipses than I'll ever need, and I haven't even used a single copy yet.

New base for my +HP -Def copy. I'm now just as done with Alear as I am with Claude. Dimitri is worth slightly more than them but I'm not too fussed on getting more of him either, so I assume I'll spark Peony.

I wonder if IS will distribute the Asset versions of Pegasus Trio between FE1 and 2, or keep it consistent and put them all under the same game.

Nope, infantry only. Alternatives would be Deadly Miasma for pure offense (and it's also quite a bit rarer), or Guidance/Soaring Guidance for support. If you have Soaring Guidance support on her team, that's an even bigger argument for Miasma I suppose.
Also, unless you're saving up every Lara for merges, I'd also be tempted to grab Florid Knife (locked to Masked Sothe) instead of Clever Dagger.

The Celestial Stone store resets twice a year, so we get two guaranteed Formas a year, excluding random one-off gifts.

Oh wow, I'd like to think that I would have checked for that had I intentionally pulled for her, but I don't know that for sure. Just another unit in the pile of "can't use yet", featuring inaugural member Rearmed Lif. By the time we get accessible bridge fodder we'll probably have at least another couple infantry Asset heroes.
Lif is 18 months old now and I still can't effectively use his Atk/Def Clash.

Yeah, I'm pretty keen to start using up my Forma Souls since I'm already unlikely to be able to spend them all before I or IS quit for good. But yet another month of nothing interesting on offer, both with the old 3H and the new 3H HoFs. I guess it might make me slightly more likely to redeem Eldicakes on the current HoF but with a day left, I better get cracking on finding his best build.

It's mildly amusing that the reaction to Fallen Edelgard has gone from "noooo, she's so toxic for the meta" to now "noooo, she's a complete waste of a slot on Hall of Forms" because there's almost nothing really worth adding to her skill-wise.

I've never heard the term Asset Hero before. 😮 Not an unreasonable term for Rearmed and Attuned heroes. Are other special hero types included to, or is it just about the ability to duplicate skills?

Lucked out sniping blue with the tickets. 8 total pulls across the 5 rounds, never had to pick a backup colour: pull #5 was Perceval, pull #7 was Ophelia, and with the very final orb, pulled out +HP -Spd Attuned Caeda. 100% done with the banner, absolutely no temptation to go any further.
Weekly arena freebie was my first Ewan, and I also picked up a free Legendary Celica on her Remix banner, who was +Spd to boot.

D'oh. Silly me even checked Merric's movement type thinking he was infantry before correcting myself, but didn't think to check Caeda as well. Certainly makes the lack of Canto less confusing, but ultimately she's still not the type of unit I'd personally use and I have a couple Ganglots just chilling waiting to duplicate infantry fodder.

Can't say I have any idea on who the new units are, not that that's driving my decisions or anything.
- Caeda as a flying tank isn't the type of unit I'd really use, and for duplicating skills simply pulling more Peonies seems like it'd be a lot better.
- Arlen has the standard truncated kit and his neutral face is bizarre.
- Merric seems to have nothing particularly special going for him. Yeah he's about having special Specials, but having it grant Canto(1) instead of him getting it from elsewhere is completely uninteresting.
In a way I'm kind of glad there's no real temptation here. Will pull the blues on the ticket rounds and be happy with that.

Originally Coca leaf plus Kola nuts (botanically speaking, fruits). The actual recipe remains a trade secret (which means unlike a patent, it never need be revealed), but analysis admittedly shows they no longer use either ingredient these days.

Tricky one as I have an itch to summon on AHR but if this banner turns out good then I'd have to use all my orbs on this first (since it only runs for two weeks) and delay pulling on the AHR banner for a month.

Dragalia had private servers go up after EoS, those are still available right? Would be cool to have that option open for FEH, with settings ultimately driven by player demand. Some would want a server that remains fairly faithful to the F2P pacing of the live game, others might want a complete monty haul, and it'd be good to have servers catering for each preference.
Paying Nintendo for a dead game though? Nah.

Good to keep in mind, though I suspect even a couple years down the line there still won't be any bridging possibilities for Gambit nor Potent. 😞
A tangential question though: if I were to attempt to build a modern highly-merged flier team consisting of say, Zephia, Arion and Axe Peony, who would be the logical fourth unit? And what key support skills come to mind? Soaring Guidance immediately comes to mind, but I'm not sure what else would really make the team shine.

While I don't like Loki as a character, I cannot possibly argue against her inclusion as a Mythic. Hell, if there were only, say, half-a-dozen Mythic heroes total in FEH, Loki would easily be justifiable as one of them. (Askr, Embla, Hel, Thorr, Loki and uh, one of the goats?)
