    Seeing that you actually gave us a pretty promising story, I'll keep my eyes on this thread and wait until there are more people in the RP and read their comments about the whole RP (since I'm not an expert on roleplaying either) then decide whether I want to participate or not. Also, are we using portraits?

    I doubt QTRs will ever be implemented in the game. Otherwise we'd be better off playing Warriors. Although I'd consider Skills that are... activable by will and not passively? I mean, we've stuffs like Camilla and Beruka's Lunge, which is displayed as a seperate option for the unit in the overview. What if we had more stuffs like that? Maybe we can have certain skills that activates before the combat like Growing Light, Rising Thunder and Growing Fire in Heroes. Or a choice for the characters to use different types of attacks in combat (e.g, an uppercut or a sweep, which would slightly alter the damage, the hit ratio and the buffs/debuffs). Echoes kinda had it, like Alm's Royal Sword which had different skills like Double Lion and Scendscale. Just a thought. Maybe it'll work out great, maybe it'll overcomplicate the game's system. Only time can tell us...

    Nope. It's impossible. You have 3 options: - Download Citra, a 3DS emulator on PC - Buy a real 3DS and real cartridges - Buy a 3DS then hack it so you can get Freeshop, which allows you to download games for free (or find and purchase an already hacked 3DS)

    Alright then, I just clarified that part in the biography. He didn't want to go back there because all of his family left at the same time, so he has doubts whether they did make it back alive. All of his friends also fled the nation during the same time. If he went back there, he'd be alone. Plus, he still thinks that Myrcia is under attack from Deira (unless the war is over and I should have read all of the 5 arcs instead), so it'll be insane to go from fighting unorganized bandits to yearly-trained militants. But I'm pretty sure I fixed his stats, and the sum is precisely 30 points... Unless I did some inaccurate quick Marths (pun intended)

    Well, I do often use vulgar language and have made some questionable decisions, but I don't have any reason to act like a phallus online. Haven't gotten myself into any issue at all. I mean, I joined the DeviantArt community to show off some of my sprites when I was 10 (don't ask why), and despite having acted childish at times, nobody really despised me. Meanwhile some kids around my age were roasted hard back then for posting weird shit.

    I reckon the answer is always your best friend's sister or daughter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Aversa would be a better choice imo, you can just throw Maribelle with someone who's close to Robin's level I guess. Plus, I don't think a Priest would benefit much from having a high Skill

    Oops, let me explain what I wanted to say: His grandfather, like I said before, settled in Myrcia and married with a native Myrcian. And thus, Minh's father was born. The father, whose mother is a Myrcian, would be considered here as a Myrcian citizen as well due to his place of birth, Myrcia, and his mother's nationality. And the same applies to Minh, since his dad is a Myrcian and so is his mother. Minh's dad studied laws and politics in order to become a diplomat. In other news, he's ONE of Myrcia's representatives who'd travel to other kingdoms in order to inform and negotiate with them. He's not the diplomat of his country of origin or whatsoever. And that place is located on a faraway continent, which I will not go into details due to various reasons, unless you guys need me to clarify that as well. Also, I did mention that the famine that happened in Myrcia took almost all of their possessions, so returning to Minh's grandfather's original kingdom is a less viable option due to the travel costs. Oh, so I have to invest 30 points into the base stats and 280 to the growths?

    Usually I just make the portraits by myself I don't really draw them from scratch, I use portraits from other FE games as the base for my character's portrait and then retrace the shape and add more things Here's a little example, I retraced then heavily edited Saizo's portrait in order to make a portrait for my OC I also had tons of experiences from editing sprites of lower resolution: (Same character with a different design, this time I edited Seth's portrait, although I haven't changed his outfit yet) I usually make the lowres portraits in MS Paint, while the semi-retraced portraits are made in Paint.NET

    Hello.. I'm looking for some casual FE RP threads that emphasizes using OCs and character portraits (with different expressions, of course) in order to give a more visual novel-ish feel, like most, if not all, of the Fire Emblem games I can show you guys an example of a RP thread from another gaming forum I'm participating in, although I'm not sure if it's allowed to include links to other websites...

    Played New Mystery of the Emblem, Awakening, Conquest, Revelation, Echoes and currently playing Heroes, Sacred Stones, Birthright and Awakening (again) Out of all the FE games I've played, Heroes Echoes has a much more solid story compared to the other games, we get a bit of this and that without being left confused. Awakening had plot holes in the Paralogues, apparently Cynthia can't even recognize her own father when she goes back to the past (If you ship Chrom with Sumia) Fates is saved by its customizability and Camilla's nice tits fanservice, the story is just plain average New Mystery had too many characters that don't play any significant role in the story, most of the time you just read Marth and Jagen's lectures
