  1. It's been days but I asked a very detailed question and got really good feedback so I wanted to say that I read everyone's posts and thanks a ton. @DefyingFates I'll just put Chrom on the backburner for now. He could run the Arcane weapon from Lif well but that would remove his niche, on top of that even as a dragon slayer in todays age of DR he operates really poorly, to the tune that even as a healer he's subpar and I can just run razzle dazzle for a safer purpose. I'll figure him out, at least I know my options. Nino will wait for the arcane tome too. I will deck her out with premium skills as she is a favorite, but it will wait for now. @Humanoid Lukas really wants that Arcane Lance so I'll have to wait until that returns. Erk is sitting pretty, he just wants a better A skill than FB4. Probably a finish skill or at least something that will give him decent offenses, I'm just hesitant to get rid of the free damage FB4 provides if he's faster unless I know I'm getting something worthwhile in return. I kind of want to make Morgan's prf work instead of just making him an objectively worse Erk, he has a niche there. @Xenomata I missed out on that dagger sadly, but Cath will definitely get it soon without giving anything away. Matt is probably going to wait for the arcane dagger but I do have a Rennac I'll probably never use so I'll give the Vicious Dagger to Colm most likely. That green tome is actually amazing and perfect for Nino, but sadly I don't have the orbs to pull on that banner and likely won't before it leaves, so she'll probably wait for the arcane green tome. The Guy build with Arcane Devourer is perfect but I only have half of the parts I need to make it work so I'll put him on the backburner for now. He could possibly appear in the FE7 hall of forms just like Colm or Cormag could appear in the FE8 one after, it's only a couple of months to wait so instead of burning resources I'll wait for that since I've got the souls. If the arcane weapons return and I'm not spent on orbs, I'll pull and hope for the best. @Ice Dragon I'll wait to build around the Arcane Weapon for Matthew. As it stands his PRF just doesn't have the firepower anymore. I pretty much agree with just about everything else pertaining to the other units as well, I have some fodder for certain things but not all the pieces so I'll wait. However, I'll ask for your educated opinion on one last thing. How should I build Cath? You know there is a specific reason why I'm asking but I'm probably going to +10 her in the long run. Straight out of the gate I'm going to tell you I want to run Lethality, Ruptured Sky is a great low cooldown special but it's not really what I'm interested in for her. Weapon - She's got the Canto dagger already but no NFU dagger since I'm giving my only copy to Colm. However, I could try to get the DR dagger also, what's objectively the best option? A Skill - Flash Sparrow seems like a really nice A skill for Lethality, but A/S Finish gives versatility and if I do want to swap out my special It'll be up basically all the time. B Skill - Special Spiral 4 seems like a no brainer here but there are really good skills like Escape Route 4 and especially Phys. Null Followup if you run the DR Dagger. C Skill - Time's Pulse 4 seems like a no brainer, but A/S Oath 4 is really nice for offenses if you go the Ruptured Sky route instead of Lethality. As said in another post, you could run Quick Dagger, Lethality, A/S Finish, SS4 and TP4 and QP Seal and basically proc Lethality every combat if you double and they don't have Guard, problem is after that proc the cooldown is 1 instead of the special being ready which means in your next combat you're relying on doubling (which means NOT dying to the enemy's counter after your first hit before the proc.) and hoping they don't have guard. Flash Sparrow takes care of the guard problem, but you lose out on healing, EP functionality and the +5 damage. Seems like a nice build would be... Weapon: DR Dagger+ A Skill: Flash Sparrow B Skill: Special Spiral 4 / Phys. Null Follow C Skill: Time's Pulse 4 / Atk/Spd Oath 4 Seal: Desperation 3 The DR Dagger is a given in most cases as it lets her survive against nukes, Flash Sparrow will allow Lethality to basically always proc if they don't have Guard, SS4 is great for damage and cooldown reduction but Phys. Null Followup will let her reliably double. Both DR nullification effects are moot regardless since Lethality will negate DR anyways, but Phys. Null Followup has an edge here because her non special attacks will cut DR in half as well, giving Lethality a higher chance for a kill. TP 4 is for reliability, though with Flash Sparrow I'm not sure if it's 100% necessary since I think FP gives you +1 cooldown charge for both her and the opponent's attacks, if it's only for her attacks it's still necessary, but ATK/SPD Oath 4 could give her just a bit more edge for killing power. Then finally after she takes that hit she's in Desp range and with SS4 and TP4 she's proccing Lethality every combat before they can counter.... unless they have followup negation. Overall I feel like the DR Dagger is better than the NFU or Quick Dagger since she's less likely to be OHKO'ed by tanks after her initial hit (which won't be a Lethality strike unless you go the full Quickened Pulse build) and her offensive power is still staggering. But I'd like to hear your thoughts.
  2. I agree with this, but not in Ross' case. Unlike faster characters who are capable of quadding, fliers running Dive Bomb 3 or even units with special charge, Ross will seldom be given opportunities to reap the benefits of the skill. He lacks special charge +1 unless you run it as a seal, He's not fast enough to quad the speedy units, the more squishy units will simply die in the first two hits, and the slower tanks typically have followup negation which means he's only attacking twice anyways unless you run the NF3 seal which is opportunity cost vs a Breath seal for EP functionality or some other seal. Between those scenarios (IE, most) and units straight up running guard which is full stop, he's at best proccing a special every other combat or worst, every 2 or 3 (or not at all). Not going to argue against the stat boost being active in both phases, that is fantastic regardless, but Distant A/S Solo gives a close enough boost in stats even with the solo restriction, and you have the advantage of most likely nuking pretty much any ranged unit on EP that isn't capable of oneshotting him through 50% damage reduction, which is not easy. That's true. Sword Reinhart, Lex, Haar, Cormag, Ross and Cherche (Both OG and Ninja) are prime examples but a lot of other brave units could benefit greatly, even bulky units with the inheritable ninja weapons. But we can pretty safely assume that Haar and Cherche are the cream of the crop and probably the best use of the skill for SI. Ross himself is a decent pick, but he takes a lot more to shine in the scheme of things and while he may hit a bit harder than a lot of the other brave units, he's not effectively immortal like Haar and Cherche.
  3. So Gambit 4 is pretty nuts turns out, after seeing a certain post it was brought to my attention that Ross could actually be pretty good. He gets 15% of max health as true damage with his weapon, so that'll be around 7 or 8 true damage, run Aether and that turns into 44-46 on top of your ATK stat and the weapon debuff which is crazy on top of 50% DR that isn't dependent on a speed check. If he runs something like TP4 and a Breath seal, as long as they don't have guard, he can take a hit in EP, then hit them once, proc Aether and blow up basically whatever he's fighting. Only Issue is his A skill, there are no relevant skills that increase HP aside from Fireflood Boost so he's running that or waiting for the ATK/SPD | ATK/DEF variant which will be more hard to get premium fodder. Or he's compromising his PP or EP depending on what you pick since he wants to fight in both phases with the meister effect. So basically you're stuck with Distant A/S Solo as Finish skills are wasted on him since his special will basically never be ready. With this new CYL7 fodder, I may have misjudged Ross' refine, maybe it was just waiting for the right skill. But it's admittedly a lot of work to make him workable when you could slap it on Haar or Cormag and just kill everything. Or even more horrifying... put it on Ninja Cherche if you just want to watch the world burn.
  4. All the units are particularly powerful as to be expected. But it seems like Corrin and Gullveig are the ones to pick for meta. Robin and Soren are extremely strong but require a bit more thought to utilize effectively and Soren can downright screw you over depending on your team comp if you're not paying attention. For fodder they're all nonsense. I don't care about Armors but Corrin's fodder for them and dragons is out of this world. Flare has basically just become the new premiere special for mages and Soren's got Both Mag Null Followup and TP4 as a cherry on top, you can literally inherit all of them at once, it's nonsense. Gullveig's Flare Spare is gonna be crazy and she also gives you a free AS Oath 4 so that's neat as well. Robin is the worst because he forces you to choose between A/S Finish 4 (which was previously on a limited time unit only) and Gambit 4 which has effectively just become the best B option for a lot of older units. I am 100% sparking on this banner, I already got Soren from the first few pulls thankfully. Going to spark and see what I get on the road there, then if I don't have Corrin I will spark her because Colorless has always treated me well. If I get a good nature of her beforehand I'll either use my free summon to get whoever I don't have, or grab Robin for Gambit 4 fodder. It's simply too good to pass up.
  5. I haven't really been playing this game in a long time, so I'm really outdated, but I got some questions! Lets see if those of you who remember me can help me out! I've got a few questions and I'd like to be brought up to speed by whoever can help me. I'll ping those that come to mind and we'll see who responds, anyone is welcome though. @Alexmender @Xenomata @Ice Dragon @mcsilas @Humanoid @DefyingFates @Sunwoo @Ginko 1. My +10s. So those of you that remember me would probably know me as the Matthew guy. I put in considerable work as in back in the day but I haven't played in a while. Basically, I'd like to optimize them all, if you can help based on current events, fodder and knowledge. Chrom, M!Morgan, Erk. Ilyana, Ross, Young Boyd Serra, Nino, Lukas. 2. Building Guy? The second I saw Guy I knew I was going to make him a +10. Unlike his buddy Matthew, Guy has a modern statline that can benefit greatly from today's speed based skills. But I'd like a bit of advice in how to build him. Is Lif's Arcane Weapon better for him or Chrom's? The devourer? What about skills? Finish skills are pretty strong and I know DC is getting upgraded branches now which is nutty. Even some C skills are getting tier 4s now. 3. B Skill for Cormag. Cormag's new weapon is disgusting. His attack power and damage reduction is so nonsensical based on his stats and potential skills. But the big question is the B skill. For an A skill it's easily something like ATK/DEF Ideal 4 or something of that nature, but what if I don't have the unbelievably busted Guard Bearing 4? What's an alternative for him? I really want to build him, it's not even a want, he's being built. I know what to know what I can use in the meantime. 4. Inheritable Daggers? I'm planning on building Colm and Cath. Matthew also needs a bit of refining. I have no idea what daggers are in the game now, what are good options for those 3 today? 5. Hall of Forms units. Cormag, Colm, Ewan, Guy, Dorothy, Cath I'm planning on building every character listed above, among them is anyone likely to appear in the next few hall of forms? (I know FE6 is next since we're going in chronological order). If I can save resources I'd rather just wait.
  6. After all this time Ross is finally getting a refine. Pretty crazy, although I'm not the most optimistic after seeing what Ewan, Amelia and Lute got. All of their refines were lukewarm at best. Either underwhelming from the beginning or they simply didn't stand the test of time. Plus he's a *3-4 unit, and while sometimes they will get fantastic refines (looking at you, Cormag) most of the time it's mediocre fair. I feel like Ross himself would get something based on his Hatchet from Sacred Stones. On top of that he has a Brave Axe+ here as his default. I think it would be pretty nice if he got Altina treatment and was given a Dual Phase brave weapon with DC and Slaying built in. A bit of DR or healing would really be nice on top, but just those 3 things would make him pretty solid. Though I don't know how it would shape up against an Arcane Downfall build. I already have my Ross fully built, I hope his prf takes Arcane Downfall's presence into account and gives him something unique that's also worth it. I'm grabbing the refine either way, but still. It's nice to have viable options. Hopefully Erk and Ilyana get nice refines down the line as well.
  7. Just popping in after a long while to say rearmed heroes are really freaking neat. Essentially free SI without losing the unit. As soon as I saw Ganglot I immediately knew I was going to give everything of hers to my +10 Ross. I also really wish I had gotten Rearmed Lif to give the sword to Guy as he's another favorite of mine, even if I have a +10 Chrom However... that made something apparent to me... powercreep has gotten so bad. Stat creep especially. The last time I was playing was when Gonzales dropped and it urked me a bit that he had a significantly better offensive statline than Ross but at least there was some variation and I actually liked him as well so he's a +10 option. Fast forward to now though and it's depressing how obsolete Ross is objectively. He can be built strong but to be powercreeped by Brigand Boss of all people. Units like Basillio and Gonzales edge him out, speedsters like Pirate Lifis and Ninja Hana/Shamir trade a bit of bulk for a far superior offense (especially Shamir), but the worst offenders are Young Boyd (who I've also +10'ed funnily enough), Brigand Boss and Atlas. Atlas is the worst offender by far, being strictly better in every way possible. It's almost disgusting how much better he is than literally every other F2P axe ever that doesn't have a prf or isn't Shamir. When @Ice Dragon said that there was no reason to give the axe to any other unit aside from favoritism I had to see for myself and wow, he's actually right. F!Shez is also probably the most disgusting of them all, but she has a prf so she's not competing with anyone. It really disappoints me on one hand, but on the other hand I almost want to build a +10 Atlas out of principle. So many good infantry axe units now. But it also makes me hope that Ross gets a really good refine, but even if it does it's unlikely it'll be better than Ganglot's Arcane weapon which is sad. On another note, I'm so upset. I caught the HoF with Illyana who I plan to +10 and have 4 forma souls, but I missed both Kiria (who I want) and Erk (who I have +10'ed) and those would have been so amazing to get premium skills for... I actually think I was playing when Erk's HoF was going but I was indifferent at the time, now I regret it.
  8. Hey~ (yep I still play this from time to time). So as time has passed I've come into possession of a few more of my personal favorites and just some fun units but dont entirely know what I want to do with them so I'd like some advice for them. Ilyana My favorite FE9-10 mage. +10ing her is a no brainers but with her stat spread I'm not sure what to do. Her ATK Is massive and something like a Special Spiral Build would be fun, but her RES is so stacked she could run an EP build or a Close Ward build with Mystic Boost for dragons. Lull ATK/RES is also a no brainer and I have the fodder. Theres also Mirror Impact but she isnt the fastest so I feel like she wants to nuke with her special since she likely wont double. Mirror Stance is also a thing but feels less necessary when Spider Plush+ exists and is probably one of her best options, Drifting Grace+ seems better for Miriel or a speedier blue mages. It really seems like a Special Spiral build with TP would be the way to go or something. Needless to say, I need help. Ilyana (Young) Because she has a prf and a lull skill in her B slot this is a bit easier. She probably wants QR in her seal slot but it still begs the question of her a skill. A stance skill perhaps? I have no ATK/RES Unity fodder so that's out of the question. Boyd (Young) Here is the thing, I have a fully invested Ross. +10, Full DF +ATK/+SPD with a DC/Spurn build. Looking at what's changed, Ross is probably due for a Prf, Basillio and Gonzales are literally STRICTLY better versions of Ross, stat wise. Better in almost every way. I like Gonzales and considered building him. but Boyd looks to be the better option. Shamir and Hana are the go tos for a speedy axe (leaning towards Shamir) but none of them hit even close to as hard as Boyd and he seems like the better version of the male inf axes. Now how should I build him? I dont want to copy Ross, his build is better on a faster axe. Boyd's ATK is so nonsense I definitely want to take advantage of that but I don't know where to start. Erk The easiest of them to build. He's +SPD and +4 but unbuilt. How should I go about building him? It seems like he'd love an Ideal A slot but it seems like a missed opportunity without Luminous Grace+ which I dont have. Drifting Grace+ is easy to get so it seems like it would be better to put the Ideal skill on Miriel since she can get the tome to match. Build ideas would be nice but the biggest question is, what Tome should he use? As always I appreciate the help.
  9. Technically this is on topic but... what is better for Ascended Mareeta? +SPD or +ATK? The former is pretty much what all of her abilities scale off of, but she has a super boon in the latter.
  10. I'll use the name I've always used as my strategist name since childhood for all my FE playthroughs. Solitary Strategist Tenk Class: Sword Infantry HP: 39 (Superbane) ATK: 38 SPD: 40 (Superboon) DEF: 33 (Superboon) RES: 26 Weapon: Wanderer's Blade: At start of combat, if unit's HP > 25% or unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants special cooldown charge +1 per attack, unit attacks twice and can make a followup attack before foe can counterattack. And also, when unit deals damage to foe during combat, restores 5 HP to unit. (Triggers even if 0 damage is dealt.) Special: Shieldbreaker (Cooldown: 2): Boosts damage dealt by 40% of unit's Spd, Disables non-Special skills that "reduce damage by X%. A Skill: Distant Counter B Skill: Hero's Shroud: If unit's HP > 50% or unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. and also, if unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%). After combat inflicts, Special cooldown count+1 on target and foes within 2 spaces of target through their next actions. (No effect on Special cooldown counts already at maximum.) C Skill: Rouse ATK/SPD 3 Relatively straightforward unit here. He attacks something? It dies. He punches through armor with his shieldbreaker special for purposes of destroying armor. The cooldown charge allows him to trigger his special twice and punch through the guard effect on armors. He loses out on null followup, but it's exchanged for the damage reduction effect for mixed phase synergy with DC and the self healing from attacks. More or less guaranteeing at least 10 HP per fight as long as he doesn't oneshot his opponent. And he's got pulse smoke as the icing on the cake, denying specials on the opponent's first enemy phase attack and setting up for his 4 blows of death. His most glaring weaknesses are his lack of Canto, Guard and Null-C-Disrupt. But he does half the one half of Null Followup that allows him to quad any opponent consecutively or force a speed check that he will most likely win. I was going to try to fit in ability that reset the WTA to neutral against blue opponents, but there was no more room and it would have just busted him given his current set. So in a Nutshell all of my abilities here. DC Dual Phase Breath Dual Phase Brave Effect Dive Bomb Heal on Hit Effect Atk/Spd+7 Damage Reduction Half of Null-FollowUp Pulse Smoke Do I win?
  11. Hey guys, not really playing like I used to or being incredibly active but I still wanted to ask a few questions. 1. So I'm about to be able to spark on the AHR banner in a day or so (funny cause I've only ever sparked twice which was for Fallen Ike and Brave Edelgard, both fantastic QoL units.) and I'm having trouble deciding who I want to get. I pulled a +SPD and +ATK Lyn so I'm good there and I grabbed a +RES/-HP Seiros so I'm unbelievably good on that front. That leaves the question: L!Dimitri or L!F!Corrin? I got a Brave Dimitri that serves me very well but from looking at it L!Dimitri seems to be better in just about every way besides needing Distant Counter so he'd be a great QoL unit for my barracks on top of being a supertank that's exactly what you know I like if you know me or have seen my videos. Then you've got Corrin who looks to be a strong contender for best colorless dragon (the new Myrrh looks nice too) and she's ready to go out of the box, but as you may well know I'm utterly, utterly stacked as it pertains to colorless (Matthew, Serra, Bramimond, N!Lyn, Duo Marth, Bridelia, Mila, B!Claude, Fallen F!Corrin, L!Alm, Leila, etc.). It is however true that aside from Matthew I don't have any true colorless tanks. My Fallen F!Corrin is unbuilt and I never gave her DC, pulling this Corrin would be a cheaper option. But objectively speaking who's a better choice? 2. A simpler question, I just came into the knowledge that Micaiah's refine is actually pretty fantastic so I should go ahead and build her up (even though I hate her). So it's time to make a decision, +SPD or +ATK OG Micaiah? With ATK obviously she can auto double so it's just more damage but with +SPD I imagine maybe you could do windsweep shenanigans. 3. +ATK or +SPD Ninja Lyn? She's utterly busted, I have no clue what to invest in.
  12. She's a budget Leila that trades offensive power for Chip damage, offensive debuffing and no potentially wonky swap mechanic. I see that as a huge win for her. EDIT: Read this on reddit: "So Conditional Firesweep + Atk/Spd Smoke + Swift Sparrow + Savage Blow + Poison Strike?" Yeah... that's actually nonsense. If it was on a better archer it would be busted.
  13. I'll be surprised if there isn't a FEH Channel in the next 15 minutes or so.
  14. Wow... I don't think I've ever been more uninterested in a banner. 100% unadulterated skip.
  15. So Mila is the next Mythic. Was par for the course after Duma so that's pretty cool. She's a Light Mythic and despite seeming underwhelming she's actually a really nice unit. She gives more or less a global +2 to all stats which is stellar (more if you consider supporting her with your tank!) given the ease of activation, she neuters dance strats and traps with her isolation effect which is going to be a Godsend against those dancer + firesweep/Ophelia nuke traps and of course the flat +5 DEF which means you're getting +7 DEF and 2 to the other stats. Then there's the possibility of dupes of her to give you not only more stats but more turns due to her C skill, she's got a lot of value if you're willing to go triple Mythic or even if you're willing to swap out Eir or Peony. She's overally a pretty great unit. Plus she's not an armor! And yes, her artwork is a little weird, but it suits her, Mythical beings should be a little different and she's exactly that. As for the colors I'll be brief, red is fantastic. L!Eliwood is one of the best supports in the game and if you happen to have him already, Death Blow 4 never hurt. Larcei is a top tier swordie but it's that Repel that gives her her real value. Lif's a defense mythic with DC and Time's Pulse. Nuff said. Green's got Legendary Hector, Osian and Annette. Objectively all pretty great units with valuable fodder, but the value here will vary from person to person. I happen to have them all. Colorless is the clear winner, Mila is great and both Leif and Alm are just monsters. Pull this color, you're a fool otherwise. Blue is actually the stinker here. L!Lucina is... ok if you don't have her but her father has more value. She's got nothing for fodder either. Ephraim... is a bit dated but still good but... meh. L!Julia is the prize here but unless you want her for fodder it'd probably be better to take a pass if you have her already. Overall green and blue are passes since I have everyone but L!Julia. Red's pretty nice though and colorless is a clear winner. Even saying all that though I'll probably just do the discounted full pull and get lost. My orb situation is all kinds of wrong currently so it's best to pass on a lot of banners for the time being.
  16. Not really, Sophia and Sanaki both got resplendents and neither of them, especially Sanaki were ones someone would expect to be candidates. You could say Sophia seemed like one because she needed the stats, but that same arguement could be made for Matthew. Sophia is a bit more popular, but the amount by which she is is pretty irrelevant if CYL 3-4 is anything to go by. Resplendents are units that should fill at least 3 of these criteria: Needs a boost in performance, needs better art, is popular to an extent. Matt fills at least 2 of these, his art is pretty great already, doesn't really need an update. Providing points aside... it would be nice to get more resplendents that aren't red, even if Chrom could use a boost to his stats.
  17. @mcsilas Hey! Grats on that Oboro! She'll be fun with that sword. And hey, Mist could get a prf one day and personally I enjoy filling my barracks with missing units. As for me... I kinda stopped documenting pulls for the rest of the month. I made... bad choices and payed for them... not really something I'll feel like sharing until next month, but I have a post here anyways. So.. the 3H Banner blindsided me in the most insane way and I wasn't even remotely ready for it. Even though none of the units are "must" haves for me (though Claude is kind of a want) I considered being smart and waiting... blah blah blah. I didn't do that. I wanted to get things overwith so I got the tickets late at night and went in whole heartedly expecting nothing. Last ticket~ I kinda avoided greens because I have Edelgard already but I more or less was just pulling colors at random. This was the top most blue. I almost pulled the adjacent green which would have probably netted me a Barst or something of that caliber. This was a nice surprise. Saddest thing is with the state I'm in currently I didn't even smile, but I am pleased. He's a unit I probably wouldn't pull for honestly. Plus he's a perfectly neutral nature. If I ever pull him again, just about anything outside of +ATK is guaranteed Lull fodder which I've never had before so that's pretty cool. Banner's a wrap for me. Saw everyone getting nice stuff from tickets, gives me comfort knowing I wasn't left out.
  18. Everyone is out here complaining about Elibeian resplendents and here I am praying Matthew never gets picked for one while simultaneously hoping he does.
  19. I'm more interested in what the update entails that will require a full OS upgrade. Is it just the result of all the updates finally needing more from your device? Or is it something in particular that's gonna take more juice to run?
  20. Welp, I spent the 74 orbs and got my Fallen Ike. Feels somewhat hollow, tossing this month's budget out the window with nothing else to show for it (no good fodder and a 4.00% rate that I'm guaranteed to let die.) but I know that he's going to serve me well in whatever mode I assign him to a bit further down the road so It's a consolation. I like the idea that I'm guaranteed to get something good from these banners no matter what I do. My investment is always rewarded no matter what and that makes me happy. I couldn't lose, and I didn't. Still... Fallen Lyon or Julia would have been nice... Anyways, Micaiah will come around in the future. I still have half the orbs from TT to collect so I'll have around 40-50 going into the next month altogether so all isn't lost.
  21. I don't know what your barracks looks like, but I'm pretty sure you've been playing longer than I have, I'd be surprised if you can't throw together a full brigade of powerful units of literally every movement type. Some of my types are stronger than others but I can autobattle infernal with just about every one of my brigades. Some with varying success but I tend to stick to the cavs, armor. And I quit for six months and came back, I'd be surprised if you didn't have a better barracks honestly.
  22. I literally got T25 by autobattling infernal (NOT +) and wasn't even getting perfect scores. Usually the cav/armor rounds do it for me but it was actually the infantry one this time. I finished on the very first battle of the last round. Didn't have to do any of the quests for the lances on that round. Dunno how people miss the last tier unless you aren't playing when the Lance's refresh which is honestly pretty lax. @Vicious Sal - Unfortunately, yes. - We don't talk and I don't tag you in my clears (I actually don't see you in that section of the Heroes forum at all, really.) or summons. - That's a pretty correct tag. Matt's my go-to in AR and just about any content (though these days much less so with particular units invalidating him) and I'm pretty much free in AR as far as defense and I've been too lazy to invest in a real team so I haven't asked for much help (and God help me before I build units specifically for AR-D). Yeah, AR is going to be a cakewalk for those types of units. But you will still have to account for units like Brunnya and Idunn. You will be getting a flat 0 damage increase against those so if you rely on the damage you're going to be in for a bad time.
  23. With the Fallen Heroes banner, it's not so much Temptation as opportunity cost. Fallen Lyon is an appealing unit and Fallen Ike is a QoL increase. With him in play AR becomes a whole lot easier and simpler for a season of my choosing. That and one of these units are guaranteed in 74 orbs exactly. No more, no less. Then there's the possibility of getting the other or even more in the 74 orbs spent. It's a potentially smart investment vs saving which makes it something to actually consider. Micaiah on the other hand is just raw temptation. The banner lasts a month, I could legit just wait for 2 or 3 weeks to see what happens instead of spending for her. Which is why resisting is smarter. I'm 189/120 on budget which is bad and 74 will just torch any saving outright, but it would increase the quality of my barracks, which potentially makes it worth it. Saving and budgeting isn't just about stockpiling for a certain unit or for the stake of stockpiling, it's also to promote smarter spending of the orbs you do have, and those 74 orbs are potentially very well spent here.
  24. Everyone pulling Micaiah seemingly easily makes it really tempting for me to spend orbs on her. I'm grossly over budget and already considering breaking it on an invest that isn't her... I literally had to close FEH to resist the impulse I was feeling on the summon screen. I'm at 49 orbs right now... I'm 22/40 on the fallen banner so 74 orbs on that and I'm guaranteed a *5 there so I could spend the bulk of my orbs on that during the TT.... or I could pull for Micaiah and blow up my chances... or I could spend nothing, survive and watch the orbs pile up...
  25. You seriously cut me by saying that, because I'm really really trying not to spend orbs right now and she is unbelievably tempting to pull for.
