  1. I liked how they mentioned the fact that the fairies did a pact with higher autorities in order to save Freyja.

    I will guess that without the help of Alfaðor, Triandra and Plumeria wouldn't be strong enough to enter Freyja's Dreams on their own? And now that Freyja is back, they should go back to Alfaðor's side, but Freyja didn't allow this.

    What the heck?! A Celestial Stone as the final Christmas Gift?! Not even Summoning Tickets for the Legendary Banner, like we always get?! Geez... Yunaka was the worst Christmas Host we had and even though that has nothing to do with the character... That kinda makes me dislike the character because not only she was the face of FEH when we got a bunch of mediocre gifts but also a couple of glitches as well, like the no FEH Pass working and the No Double SP bonus during weekend.

  3. I don't know what would be a worst case scenario here. As for what I expect:

    • A duo hero between Seidr, Heidr and Kvasir (2 of the 3 in a duo). Maybe Seidr & Kvasir, of Seidr showing Kvasir that she can have a happy life.
    • The one left out from the 3 units above. Based on the example above, it would be Heidr.
    • Nerþuz, as the traditional NY Beast unit we get.
    • A non FEH character.
    • Another non FEH character.

    I will guess that Gullveig is not getting a New Year Alt, but can still see her getting one.

    She has to initiate combat to get the full sweep, so that's a condition.

    I believe you are right. Everyone I remember has some type of condition, Like Legendary Veronica requiring the target to have allies around them or Legendary Ninian having target beinf blue or being penalized. I believe the most common condition is a stat check, so it's nice to see Eleonora not having to compete in Spd to be able to not get counterattacked.

  5. Legendary Leif has no problems in killing Freyr in two rounds of combat.

    Funny enough, the map I thought was the hardest one in this batch was Alear & Céline with Blazing Blade units. the Pegasus Knight with Guidance 4 can be a little annoying in giving Céline more range. Not having a dancer isn't fun as well, but at least I could "cheat" by using Harmonized Tiki's refresh skill.

    If you want to use him as an offensive unit, then yeah. He will need some support in triggering specials faster in player phase.

    However, tt doesn't only use his movement to charge the special for the effect. It also uses foe's movement. So if foe is a cavalry, and moves 3 spaces before initiating, Claude will get the 3 charges.

    And there is also a secondary condition, that is "if foe has a [Penalty]". As long foe has a stat penalty or a negative status effect, Golden Yule Bow+ will grant the full 3 special charges and the extra stats+3 during combat.

  8. The fact that Claude has an inheritable Bow is bad in many ways, because that Bow grants the Special charge before attack effect with a max of 3 charges.

    So you know what Wind Tribe Claude does? Now every Archer in the game can do that as well. Of course Insta Lethality is more deadly than Insta Deadeye, but still... So annoying.

    That's the fun of Special Heroes banners, to have units having weapons they would normally not use. Like Raphael with a bow in the Plegian banner, or Sigurd using a teapot as a tome.

    Balthus with a bow is totally fine in this situation.

  10. Not much to say about this map.

    @GuiltyLove Nice clears! Canto was very useful in the Macedon video, so you could reposition your unit out of enemy's range after each combat. Grimas and Liliths did great tanking Validar's minions, and warping to Validar was an easy way to deal with him.

    I see you were using Duo Palla on the Macedon video. What is your opinion about her refinement?

    Thanks to @DarkAlf in helping creating this calendar list. You can check the details of the events, like how many orbs will we get on certain days, as well the total amount of Ephemeras we are speculated to get each month, though the following Google Sheet link:

    Because of Daylight Savings that ended on November 5th 2023, events that happen on that date forward in the official English Schedule will have 1 day added to it (11/5 -> 11/6). These dates are already adjusted in the list made by us.

    Please inform me if we got anything wrong or if we forgot anything.

  12. Yeah, Validar is insane:

    Here, I have a total of 6 Penalties on foes within two spaces of the target (Guard, Ploy, Exposure, Sabotage, Discord and Panic) and 7 Penalties on the target (all the others, plus Gravity)

    Each foe within two spaces add 24 to the damage dealt. Total of 120 damage.

    Arval's penalties add 28 to damage dealt, plus 10 from exposure damage. Total of 38 damage.

    Resulting in the 158 damage dealt to Arval in the video.

  13. It's kinda funny to me how Ratatoskr's weapon works to me.

    It grants Atk/Spd+9 to her, but subtract by -3 for each ally that is low on HP. So if she has 2 allies with less than 40% HP, you get Atk/Spd+3.

    However if all her allies died and she is alone, then she gets the full Atk/Spd+9. Which makes sense based on how the weapon works.

    But it sounds like... wrong. lol Like... "Oh no... my friends are hurt... it makes me sad and it makes me weaker..." and "Oh no... my friends are dead... ehh, who cares about corpses."

    I just got my first Flamed Sparrow unit on Mythic Gullveig, so I never used it before and Brave Gullveig was never a problem to me before.

  15. Trying to guess the refinements for January, and I will go with:

    • Legendary Lilina
    • Legendary Corrin
    • Young Minerva
    • Kiria
    • Young Merric

    These five are pretty much guaranteed, in my opinion. The first 3 are obvious, since they are the 2 Legendary Heroes schedule for remixes and the next grail unit in line.

    Then we have Kiria, who is the last TMS to get refinement from her banner and in general, and to avoid color sharing in the banner I went with Young Merric and not Young Caeda for the seasonal refinement.

    The last two slots will depend... It could go:

    • Leila
    • Ferdinand Von Aegir

    or

    • Fiora
    • Bernadetta

    Again, considering no color sharing in the New Power banner and both Kiria and Merric taking the red and green colors already, the remaining colors are blue and colorless. So it will depend on who from the Blazing Blade banner gets their refinement first. If they go Leila, then the other will be Ferdinand Von Aegir. If they go Fiora, then it should be Bernadetta.

  16. Not gonna lie... the new mode looks boring and just a waste of potential. They just grabbed Rival Domains to put it in auto-battle. I will not complain about free rewards though, but ehh.

    I mean... if they kill Grand Conquest and do this mode instead, I will prefer that considering Grand Conquest is pretty much the same thing but requires so many more battles to get all rewards.

    The Awakening banner is meh to me. I am interested on the new Arcane Axe, since my Groom Marth would appreciate that since Arcane Downfall is not the best weapon imo. But if I don't get it with my tickets, I will not summon for it, at leats not now.

    Binding World being expanded to Book 5 units too as candidates for the Otherworld Bond item is quite nice. However, after looking at the Book 5 units list, none of them interest me at all. I don't have any merge project from that book, or the best units I would like to have a copy of I already have.

    The new mythic looks fun, but I kinda wish she was Light. Astra has so many great mythics already that have such unique actions and effects, which makes Light Mythic lack in comparison.

    Divine Vein Greens looks interest, and it has a good effect against the many warping effects we have now like Guidance 4 or even the Catria Balls. I don't think it will have a big visible change on the meta right away, but it may happen with time. I don't care about much it affects Duels, since I don't play that crap.

    Now that we have units dealing up to 21 free and unstoppable damage before first attack on their own (Flamed Sparrow + Flame Terrain + Occultist's Strike), and potential even more damage if you use that unit alongside Attuned Triandra, there is no reason to avoid not giving Surtr a refinement, imo.
