Venmi

160 orbs, going for colorless, and green only if colorless isn't available. Main goal was Caineghis merges, but would take Eir merges or a L!Alm. Green was second because my Greil was +7. Got an Eir, a Greil, and a Caineghis! Not bad, but would have liked an Alm more than an Eir, and still want more Cain's. I'll throw more orbs in as I get them, but trying to avoid the temptation to buy.

Perfect colorless lineup! I'll be throwing in orbs for Cain merges, but may stop once I get an Alm and an extra Eir (though hopefully lots and lots of Cains). I probably won't touch the other colors, as close as I am at +10 Greil, I need to save orbs, and the other greens aren't main goals of mine.

I use Caineghis to tank Ophelia during light season. Unless there's something really weird going on, Light blessed Caineghis + 2 Eirs +DD4+DD seal + Res tactic means he takes almost no damage, even from the out-of-combat damage, and easily kills her on retaliation. In fact, I win most of my battles during light season by just having Caineghis tank all the ranged folks (even red Micaiahs!). Astra season, on the other hand... I really need to build a good tank for that one. Now, I have lost a handful of battles by just putting Caineghis in range of a nuke... but I haven't built any other amazing teams yet for AR, so he's doing a lot of work for now.

I was really hoping for Eir/L!Alm/Caineghis for this month... I would have loved that colorless banner. I guess the new mythic would probably be great as well, but I would rather merge my Caineghis. Next month's colorless would have L!Robin, who I really don't want any more of, and I'd only want one Duma. Though I do want to merge Ikes, so next month's red looks pretty good too... (Though I'll want B!Micaiah more)

A little late, but I have two +10's to add! They've both been done a while, but I haven't gotten around to posting them. My first colorless! Weird that I finished Micaiah before him. I've been using him in arena on non-Earth seasons (since Ike is the only legendary hero I've merged), and he's great for debuffing! I run a different set on him when I use him in arena- this is his general use set. I agree- my sister and I are a good case study. We both play FEH, but she's FTP and I'm not. I play a lot more seriously than her; she's a casual player, I aim for Tier 21 Arena and top 5000 in AR. I want to +10 my favorite units, including 5* exclusives, she aims for one copy. I drop about $150 a month on average, so I'm not a whale. However, I'm a lot more frustrated when I don't get what I want, and it does happen (Bride Fjorm is a good case- dropped a lot of money even though I only wanted her for AR and not just as a character). I've had all of the Tellians since each of their first banners. She just got her first regular Mist, and was very happy about it. I got 8 V!Greil before I got a single V!Mist on the Valentine's banner, and was extremely frustrated. I spent money. She got two or three V!Mist's before her first Greil, and was really happy. I've told her to stay FTP, and she's been good about it. She enjoys her pulls just as much, if not more, than I do. So, in my opinion- you'll probably be happier not spending as much money. And I need to remember only to spend some money when it's a unit I really want.

I get that, but... Didn't Tibarn have that incredibly large lead in team size? I guess I'm just wondering how far ahead you have to be to actually win... Anyway, on to team Mia!

...What the heck? Tibarn lost? Barst was behind all but one round, wasn't he? There's no way he should have won. This is incredibly frustrating. I'll be joining Mia next, since I do like her, but still frustrated that Tibarn lost at all. This wasn't a back and forth battle...

Yay for Eliwood in joining Lyn and Hector! Now if Micaiah could just join Ike... (Though I worry I'll have to wait through Three Houses legendaries for that...) Anyway, my orbs are safe! I want no one badly from this banner. I'll free pull on green for an extra Yune, but I can save. Possibly for Brave Micaiah.

Sanaki versus the senators is a conflict in part 3, but it could just as easily be Micaiah versus senator(s) in part 1, Micaiah or Ike or Elincia or Skirmir or Sanaki versus senators in part 3, and everyone versus the remaining senators in part 4. (There are other conflicts, but I only listed the senators ones). I'm not sure Sanaki versus the senators is truly the most prominent out of even those. However, I think the more important conflict, even if no one realized it, was Sephiran versus all throughout the game. (I may have been confused by a joke, which has been known to happen).

I'd argue you can count it, since she still does things as Micaiah (leading her army, as Elincia does) and Yune wouldn't be there if not for her. But yes, I'm fine with agreeing to disagree- like I said, my main point was to show that there is still plenty of room for debate. I'm doing the same for Micaiah that you do for Elincia- arguing that she deserves more love than she gets. And by the way, I'd love a flying staff Elincia alt at some point :) I still like Elincia.

I'd still argue the importance still isn't equal in RD, since Micaiah plays a larger role in part 3 (as antagonist there, but still important) and part 4 (an army leader like Elincia and the vessel for Yune). Then you have parts 1 and 2, which are either equal important or heavier importance on part 1 (especially for the broader Tellius story). I'd conclude Micaiah is more important in RD overall based on these. When you include PoR for the full picture, I'd argue Elincia is largely a figurehead until towards the end, when she slowly takes more control from Ike. Important, yes, but I'm not sure it balances out when summed with Micaiah's much greater role in RD to make Elincia definitively more important overall. I think my overall point is that there is still plenty of room for debate. I disagree with you, and there is evidence for both of our positions. (I have a pet peeve with people concluding there's no room for debate which goes far beyond these forums, which is the main reason I entered the debate. And to defend Micaiah).

I strongly disagree, not only with the premise but with there being no debate. Elincia is very important in PoR, yes. But Micaiah is arguably far more important in RD, being a protagonist and leading the army herself (unlike Ike leading Elincia's army in PoR- the game makes a point that Ike overshadows Elincia to some degree). She has part 1 all to herself as the leader, Elincia gets a portion of part 2 (split between focus on Elincia/Geoffrey/Lucia), Micaiah gets more of part 3 than Elincia does, and she's Yune's vessel in part 4, where Elincia doesn't get much at all. (I am biased, just as you are- I strongly prefer Micaiah to Elincia, for reasons that aren't relevant to their game importance. However, that doesn't change the fact there is still debatable ground.)

Tier 25, with 12,970 lift! Just a little shy of tier 26, but that's okay. I full out lost one battle after using my escape ladders, so that's why. I don't want to experience a ton of stress when playing AR, so I'll take a loss or two. I love being able to plant Caineghis and watch everything fall! I had a few close calls with people like Est, but he still tanked two Ests today. Caineghis may not be my favorite Tellius character, but I'm thrilled I can use him over another game's character. Nailah is one of my favorites, so the fact I can build a team around the two of them is great. When the Astra mythic comes out, I'll spend some orbs on it and add a blessing to Tibarn and Reyson. I'll possibly change either Caineghis or Nailah over as well (but not both)! I like landing in the top 3000 every other week.

...Sigrun and Tanith? Why? I mean, yay for Tellius characters, and I guess the connection is Sanaki, but... As a Tellius fan, I'm still probably not going to spend orbs. Was never a very big Sigrun/Tanith fan.

I pulled a Fallen Corrin! ... Which is exciting because I wanted Atk/Spd solo. However, since I only have one copy, I'm a little nervous to use it. I wanted to get a little advice before I fodder a skill so rare. Tellius characters are my favorite, so they're the only ones to which I'm interested in giving really rare skills. Here are my top options: Oscar +10 - Currently running life & death Soren +10 - Currently running fury. Biggest drawback is I'm using his personal tome, so I'd want to switch tomes if I gave him the skill. Sothe +10 (Life & Death) Possible options: Elincia +2 (Death Blow) Ranulf +2 (Fury) I'm leaning towards Sothe or Oscar, possibly Ranulf. Other favorite characters, but I'm pretty sure they don't fit.

Honestly... had there been any other Tellius character (Mist!), I would have picked them. Though I guess Mist or Sanaki would have been the only options, and I still might have picked Yune over Sanaki... Anyway, for me, it's Tellius love instead of Yune love! Tibarn killed everything himself. Sure, he had buffs from the herons, but that's still impressive. Tibarn is amazing! And this map is easy. I did it on the first try with the Tibarn, the herons, and Nailah. Even though Nailah did nothing.

Ranulf is my main goal, but I'm also summoning on colorless for 2 Caineighis. So, of course, I've summoned... Rhajat (really?! She's not new, and I never used the first one I got) Tibarn (yay, a merge!). Same circle as Rhajat. Micaiah (well, this is the first time I've pulled a 5* that I'd already +10'd... she's fodder, I guess). Same circle as Rhajat. Myrrh (also not new) Caineghis Neutral (yay!). Same circle as Myrrh. Lewyn (that's my fourth Lewyn... and I haven't finished leveling the first.) Caineghis +Res (I can stop summoning colorless now!) Surtr (what? I never wanted him. At least he's new... and +res/-def) No Ranulfs :( That's four green 5*s, but no Ranulfs. And none of them I really wanted. And I didn't pull a single Reyson. However, I'm one Sothe merge away from +10! So close! But I want to start sniping green now... Please, please better greens.

I agree wholeheartedly! Tellius is doing a lot better now, and desperately needed it (as seen in the numbers). Now that it's on par with a lot of the other games, time for the others to get some spotlight. I really don't want to see it get hate for too much attention, and our orbs need time to recover! It's in a good place now.

I'm okay with Jill taking a while... for Tellius fans, we'll need a chance for our orbs to recover, and for everyone else, there's a lot of other games that haven't had a banner in a while. Tellius desperately needed this, considering how little we got in the first two books, but we've gotten a lot of goodies this year and can afford to wait. Jill will come, but I don't want to see Tellius under fire for taking all of the attention.

That helps some... I just wish they'd stuck a little better to source material and given him higher attack than Lethe. It's a little petty, but that's my biggest complaint- why make him weaker (as in attack) than Lethe? But that's probably partially because I've always liked Ranulf a lot more than Lethe.
