I think putting in Desperation from Heroes would be really cool. In fact, a lot of skills and weapon effects from that FEH would be really cool to see in the main games.

I like this a LOT. A FE game where we can truly be bad would be AWESOME. (If done right) This also kinda makes sense for a pirate theme but that ship has sailed a long time ago. pun intended.

Oh my bad I didn't know, but what i was trying to say was that IS wouldn't remove a core mechanic in the series (with the exception of Echoes).

The weapon triangle was in every game though and it's a staple of the series so there's NO way that IS is taking that out. Also, how does it ruin the fun? I see it as a challenge to try and use the weaker weapon to win and as a crutch that helps beat stronger enemies. So it's like a win win.
