    With the rumors of an FE4 remake floating about, I figured now was as good a time as ever to try my hand at a Sigurd moveset. The moveset is condensed to a single spoiler tag due to its unorthodox nature.

    What guest characters would you like to see in fighting games other than Smash? For example, Tifa in Tekken 8 is currently the talk of the town and for good reason: she'd be a perfect fit for a game like Tekken.

    I just realized that this is the same day as the 27th anniversary of the original Final Fantasy VII. Maybe we’ll see one last trailer for FF7 Rebirth here?

    For as monotonous as the gameplay can be as a whole, I can say that I at least prefer Project X Zone 2’s combat system to Project X Zone 1’s combat system. Makes me wish the duology got a rerelease on Switch where PxZ2’s combat system is used across both games.

    I just realized something; the last Spirit Event before this was in January 2022, when Evil Ryu was added to the Spirit Board. After that Spirit Event, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass ran from March 2022 to November 2023, and then after the Booster Course Pass ended, here we are today with brand new Spirit Events starting in January 2024. TL;DR the Booster Course Pass is more or less the reason why we didn’t get any new Spirit Events from March 2022 - November 2023.

    As much as I enjoyed Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the bosses are easily the weakest part of the game purely because of how little effort went into the bosses compared to the rest of the game. So, let’s get our creative juices flowing and try to come up with more creative boss battles! This is a creation thread where you can make whatever you want and there’s no voting or jobs. The only rules: If you use an existing boss, it has to be from either Mario’s platformers or series adjacent to Mario (Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Wario) You can create an original boss, but it has to be thematically in-line with what the levels of Wonder already gave us

    Roughly in English: ““Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL” celebrates its 5th anniversary today! Starting tomorrow, we will be holding an in-game event "Thank you!! 5th Anniversary of Super Smash Bros. SP Release" for 5 days. During the period, the experience points and SP you receive after battle will be multiplied by 5, and you can also obtain 5 additional "Snack L".” Sakurai also tweeted about this.

    I honestly feel like WW3 is going to happen because of the US government at this point. Genocide is happening in Palestine as we speak and yet the US is actively encouraging it *as we speak.* I feel like it’s only a matter of time before the genocide spreads everywhere else and the US wins.

    I think Nintendo should've started putting some of their games on Steam starting in the Wii U era, whether as a multi-platform release or waiting until about a year after the home console release.

    The 25th anniversary for the entire Smash series is coming up in January 2024, and I want to see Nintendo do something special for it since Ultimate is not only the best-selling game in the series, but also the best-selling fighting game of all time. So what would you like to see for the 25th anniversary of Super Smash Bros.? You can list what you expect and what you hope to see separately. My expectations Smash 64 on the NSO N64 app A release date for the Sora amiibo (since we know for sure it’s coming in 2024) My wishes A port of Ultimate on the next console with additional content and balance changes and QoL changes HD ports of Melee and Brawl (preferably with better online support)

    As much as I adore SSBU’s Classic Mode, I’ll admire that every route being six fights and a boss kind of restricts is potential. So what if it was more like Street Fighter V’s arcade paths, where you go through a different number of fights depending on the path chosen? I made a while Google Doc about it but here’s an example: Jigglypuff: All Original, All 64

    Smash fans. Say what you will about certain aspects of the series but I will gladly defy the mob mentality out of spite for them.
