  1. Honestly its very difficult to say. Sakurai seems to keep things to himself. One things for certain, he definitely does care about the community and the feedback fans have given him. Otherwise, Ultimate wouldn't be the game that it is, and he wouldn't have flown down all the way from Japan just to say thank you to the top players and overall the community. He's a hard worker, and its quite clear he put a lot of heart, soul, and passion into this game. I think he does enjoy smash bros, but he does seem to be really tired as of late. Guy needs a break after this.
  2. 8.5/10 upbeat and catchy. Unfortunate that Waluigi is gonna be an assist trophy in the new game. Tons of people wanted him in the actual roster. While we're still on the topic of smash Super smash bros Brawl - Stickerbrush Symphony One of if not my favorite my favorite track from the smash series. Love how they arranged this piece.
  3. That's a menu theme? Its great though. 8/10 Stairfax Temperatures - Snowhorn Wastes Probably my favorite track in this game.
  4. 8/10 Donkey Kong land - Kremlantis People either love or hate NES/GB music, but I personally love this track.
  5. Meh 5/10. Its upbeat but it doesn't really stand out for me all that much. Tekken 7- Dragon's Nest
  6. 9/10 It reminds me alot of Chrono trigger and Mana soundtracks. It's really calm and relaxing. Makes me wanna play Xenogears, and the only Xeno game I've played is Xenoblade chronicles 2. Seiken Densetsu 3 - Another Winter
  7. 8/10. I have a soft spot for snes/super famicom tracks, and the song really takes advantage of the sound chip. This one's from the shinobi 3 and I gotta say, This is taking the Yamaha chip (the genesis/megadrive sound chip) to its absolute limit.
  8. Awakening is great and all but if its a port or even a remake (highly unlikely) then that would be really disappointing.
  9. Really liking the Majora's mask tracks. Favorite Zelda game. 6.5 @Robert of Normandy
  10. Its pretty catchy and gets me hyped up. 8/10 not much to say. Solid piece.
  11. Not really. I rarely ever try to correct anyone's grammar. Anyone want a sacred stones sequel besides me?
  12. I have yet to finish this game but that sounds fantastic. 9/10
  13. Because people put too much stock in "potential". What were they thinking when they made Karla as she is in FE7?
  14. Gotta say, really diggin Murkrow's original design. Ultimately though Im glad this didn't become the roster. Gotta have my lugia.
  15. ^ This!! Exactly this. its actually very easy to fake something like that. In fact its been done before. I don't buy this leak and I find the name of these games hard to believe. (Metroid prime renegade? Fire emblem Memories? I smell BS).
  16. The sad thing is, I have more of a reason to buy this game than I do Ultra sun and moon. That's honestly laughable.
  17. I don't think Saitama is a good example. Considering he's suppose to be more of a joke character. Him being perfect and being insanely stronger than everyone is kind of the point of his character. One punch man is suppose to be more of a satirical anime and really doesn't take itself seriously. I'm gonna flip flop a little and say I do agree that you don't necessarily need flaws to develop a character. After all a character can grow without having a specific flaw in one aspect. but I definitely do think its something that's important for a character to have. You can only go so far without having any sort of flaw in your character. There isn't a single character I've liked in any series where they have little if any character flaws what so ever. I don't think its even possible to make a decently well written character without at least one sort of flaw.
  18. If a character has flaws, They become more relatable to the audience I feel. Which is why I value a character having both strengths and weaknesses. If they have no character flaw, there really isn't any room for character development.
  19. I feel the issue with many of the FE protagonists is that they have little if any flaws at all, and get way too much praise from the supporting characters. Which is a common trend I see among alot of anime. Never having to face any consequences or learn as a character. Corrin is a perfect example of this. Though to be fair other lords suffer from a similar issue but I would argue to a lesser extent (Eliwood, Alm, Lyn, Ephraim, etc)
  20. I was confused at first why I couldn't start a thread haha. Thanks for clearing that up.
  21. There's a lot of fates characters I wanted to like because of their designs, but they ended up being lackluster in terms of character and were constantly abusing their gimmicks and usually never got to see much else beyond that. However the one character that really disappointing me was Corrin. Man I can't stand this special snowflake. Every character in fates gives nothing but praise to him and sucks up to him for no good reason at all. Corrin can do no wrong apparently. I felt like I was watching another generic harem anime where the main guy despite being uninteresting personality wise and isn't even attractive looks wise, still somehow gets a group full of girls to fall for him. He is by far the most boring and generic main protagonist/lord in any Fe game to date, and I would even go as far as to say the most boring main character I've seen in any rpg. He's/she's also clueless and dumb. (yeah cause the dancer you saw definitely doesn't look like Azura at all Corrin). Its unfortunate cause I actually really like Corrin's design. They have a cool concept being the first lord to actually turn into a dragon and the Yato as a weapon is also one of my favorite weapons in any game design wise.
