  1. Gunter: He is just... Him. He is outclassed at everything except resistance by Frederick. None of his stats are at least salvageable. One of the worst heroes of the game, at least he got IV's and merges. 3. Camilla: She is a good, "Jack of all trades, master of none" unit. Her good speed, defense and resistance allows her to tank dragons and melee hits as well. Before her refinement she was considered a "normal" unit for both mixed and fliers team composition, commonly using a Slaying Axe or Slaying Hammer for smashing those Hectors or Grimas. When her personal weapon came in, however, she began having a new live, specially in mixed teams. Her new personal weapon allows her to be a real Wyvern General, allowing her to support cavalry and flier allies whilst having a Swift Sparrow effect in her weapon when near these. But even then, her offensive stats are only of 50/36 in attack and speed. She commonly uses Fury to further augment this while boosting her defenses, making her a good duelist unit. 5.5.
  2. I just made a theory of the legendary banners, and I can conclude the next legendary heroes will be an infantry unit wielding anything that is not a Green Tome. Here's my theory: The legendary could be either Helbindi, Hector, Hrid or another hero with a random weapon.
  3. I just somehow managed to get 3 Sigurds on the LB. Should I fodder or merge them? They are: 1- +Spd-HP. 2- +Res-Spd. 3- +Res-Atk. Which one is better? And with which build?
  4. 1 random Luke, in the Genealogy banner. 2 Fallen Robins (M), I just randomly got into them in the Stance's banner. Oh, and 2 C!Chrom, who was on a 7 days banner, sharing color with her sister, with only 30 orbs... And I wanted Lissa u.u
  5. Obviously, the new lord will be Wrys. He is a god. Out of jokes, I'd like to see a staff wielding Wyvern Knight as the lord, or a bard who after promotion could attack.
  6. He is good at what he does. He can hold a round against units like a +10 Reinhardt with bonuses and end the battle alive, even when having the WTD. He can kill almost everything with an Glacies proc (or even a simple Iceberg). Even with an underwhelming defense he can tank even blue hits if ployed. Yes, his speed is bad and will be mostly doubled by anything (reducing his capacity to tank hits) but with that insane resistance (and defense to a lesser extent) he'll be receiving 0x2 most of the time.
  7. I don't know if I should put this on here, but when I was training my Bridal Ninian and Bridal Tharja, Tharja just disappeared when using her Rally Spd on Ninian. Have this happened to any of you? And if so, is it normal?
  8. You're right in that. But that low HP helps him activate Vantage (And by the way, for Ares to survive a +atk +10 Life and Death Celica would need the Distant Defense seal and a +1 bonus to resistance, just saying). But then, he would survive against mages with only 1-2 HP and be killed by anything in return. Anyways, nice builds! The only one I would change is the Safeguard one, but only adding that a +speed IV would work very well, stacking speed adds to his chances of survival (With the Safeguard refined in speed, the boon and Cavalry bonuses he hits 42 speed while retaining his 50 of defense).
  9. No, he ran the numbers in the simulator (unmerged and vanilla, I don't know if enemies fusions or skills affect the results). Anyway, I have tried him sometimes vs the GC units (in Lunatic) and it works until you found a red unit with enough defense or blues (there is the occasional Hardy Bearing unit) but nevertheless is good. In those, however, he has the Atk.+3 seal.
  10. I have a friend that uses his Ares (unmerged) with an attack boon (and a defense bane. He says he prefers him that way because he can survive a +10 Celica with Fury with a +2 bonus to resistance and revenge kill her) and the combo DC+Vantage. His special is Draconic Aura (At first he wanted Bonfire) and he has Quickened Pulse as a seal. Should that be considered as a build? Or it is situational?
  11. Zephiel and all the dragons. His dream will become true finally. Nowi and Fae. They'll play together. Robin M and Grima. What could possibly go wrong? Celica and Possessed Celica. One cries tears, another blood. Raven and Lucius/Priscilla. Time for bonding! Sad that Heather is not in the game, I would immediately support her with Neph-Neph.
  12. Now that a double post created... In which difficulty do you farm points? In Lunatic 7? Or maybe 5?
  13. I think that a good defenses unit with QR (Or Vengeful Fighter) and a Healer will be enough for the last map. For the other part a Marth is enough once considered the TT bonuses. Nice seals, but I think the only one that really deserves being level 3 is Spd Smoke for solos and GC, Flier Formation is nice and all but only if you have a Flier Team (especially with Azura from New York or Ninian), while Atk/Def 2... There is Close Defense already.
  14. Raigh: He is a balanced unit in a game where the min-maxed units are considered better. His attack is the only thing that is at least salvageable and useful if running an anti ponies setup with his base tome. His speed can be considered good if invested in (40 once considered everything) and allows him to be a somewhat good anti-mage unit. His defense and HP are enough for avoid the OHKO vs unmerged/sky-high attack units and his resistance is just enough for ploy a lot of melee non-armored units. But those balanced stats are his Achilles Heel, his attack is nowhere near those of Sanaki or Lilina, and his speed is bad when compared to Tharja, Katarina or Celica. His defenses are decent at best, and there are better units at tanking (like Sanaki, Lilina and Katarina against mages or Winter Tharja, Sophia or even Henry against physical damage). 4. Sophia: She is an excellent anti ranged unit. With a raven setup she can shut off a lot of gray and green units. With Bowbreaker she assures the win against almost all archers except for Hallowen Jakob if buffed, but she can use Red Tomebreaker for more general coverage if you think that she can win against the archers. She has a good attack and balanced defenses, but a pitiful speed allows for basically everything to double her. 6.
  15. Hector: He is one of the little units to keep being a force to be reckoned since launch. He has strong Defense, HP and Strength and low Speed, with a salvageable Resistance. He have a variety of extremely strong builds, with Wary Fighter and Quick Riposte he avoids doubles whilst making them himself. With Vantage in the B slot and Atk. +3 or DD 3 in the S slot he can oneshot a lot of units whilst keeping himself alive. With the Berserk Armads he becomes a very reliable unit with Aether and Wrath. Or he can use the same but with Bold Fighter, or making himself relevant in enemy phase with Vengeful Fighter and Sol. His weaknesses, while having little, really impact on him on a negative way. With such a low speed he needs Wary Fighter for keeping safe from doubles, and the combination of low resistance and movement makes him an easy prey for mages, and even some Archers with Firesweep or Brave Bow. 9/10 Raven: Probably the strongest Axe unit in the game, and one of the best Galeforce users. Having an excellent combination of Attack and Speed allows him to destroy anything without excellent Defense or that isn't Red. Before his Prf. weapon came out he was considered a decent Brave Axe user and a good user of a Slaying Axe, but that changed when the Basilikos came in. The Basilikos is a Slaying Axe with 2+ of Might, but it real strength comes from its refinement, L&D 3 makes him the perfect glass cannon, but that's not all, he can combine that with Desperation and the Heavy Blade seal for reliable Galeforce's procs. His election for the A slot is flexible, with Fury being the premium option, closely followed by L&D. With the first you give him a bonus to his offenses while partially fixing his defenses (And with the recoil helping Desperation to activate), and L&D making him a real glass cannon. However, he has paper-thin defenses, with his good HP helping him to not to get an OHKO. 8.5/10
