  1. It's doable if they don't use pre-rededered CGI for any cutscene showing Byleth. All Byleth scenes use in game engine cutscene show it will show customization. Only problem is post fusion Byleth will likely still have green hair and eyes for plot reason.
  2. Counter argument here: If that's her explanation, then it contradicts the church story that Seiros died an old age and was buried in Holy Mausoleum, it would further implies that Seiros is still alive. What makes Rhea not to age while the "original owner" Seiros did? As far as we know, Crest power only diminished over generations rather than getting stronger.
  3. I have be wondering about this topic, on "How much Jeralt really know about the Rhea and the truth" I think Jeralt knows a lot more than he told Byleth, to the point that Jeralt might actually know Rhea's true identity as Seiros, even participated in the plan to resurrect Sothis. We know that Rhea changes her identity every few decades to avoid suspicion of her youth appearance, we also know that Jeralt has worked for her for over 100 years That means Jeralt is likely to have been working for Rhea before she was known as "Rhea" currently, means that he knew about some deepest secrets about the Church. In addition. he and Rhea are the only two people bear Major Crest of Seiros, that he got it directly from Rhea, that would makes it very obvious who Rhea really is when you add it with Rhea changing her identities. How much does Jeralt really know? Does he know about Rhea's plan to resurrect Sothis? Did he participate the plan? And most interestingly, does Jeralt know about the truth of Sitri?
  4. About Saints, here are some of my thoughts It seems to me that Saint title was only created some time later, maybe long after the war since all other named but dead Nabateans were not given the title. And with Soroen on the other "saints", there are many more tombs inside Holy Mausoleum, one of the npc in Silver Snow also mentions there is a popular movement to make Byleth a saint based on their deeds rather than their blood (no one seems interesting in Byleth's similar appearance with Nabateans) making me to believe there are more saints then mentioned, and the title is bestowed regardless if they were Nabateans.
  5. Maybe translation issue? My Japanese isn't too good, but I don't think that word translate into "conspiring" but more like supporting each other. I also read a Mandarin version of translation, using neutral word "cooperation" rather than conspiring.
  6. I read a translated version in Mandarin that part of interview discussed about Sothis That her adult form is indeed similar to the one on the mural, and it was the form Rhea last remember, thus Rhea was surprised if you told her about the loli Sothis.
  7. I believe in Silver Snow Seteth mentioned Rhea gathered all surviving Nabatean in Enbarr as a rally point before attacking Nemesis, so it doesn't support either side of the theory. The way I read it, she said "you and Mother coexisted with your own comrades" rather than "You coexisted with mother and your comrades" making it to me that her mother should be Nabatean.
  8. Maybe the Witcher3? Either you import a save from previous game, or that a cutscene happens and asked you what major choices you made with Witcher 2?
  9. I think her mother was a Nabatean, She has her own crests rather than inheriting Seteth’s. She was born long after Red Canyon, (Between -300 to -41 year pre empire) no other born this late was known to have unique crest.
  10. Some dataminers pointed out that the "sixth character" (aka female Ferdinand) was updated when DLC was released, instead she got a new name ID same as Byleth, her affiliation was switch to Church and received Crest of Flame. The theories were like alternative form of Byleth or even Sothis adult form. So maybe they really are working something in the secret. To me, I just want to know more, both DLC and a prequel is welcomed.
  11. Rhea has her own special classes as a fully functional character, two of them actually: The Archbishop and The Saint (Seiros) I believe one is magic oriented while another is might based. There are a lot of datamined video of people using them on Youtube.
  12. I found that part of interview very interesting since last interview they said they were done with the game Maybe they are already planning a follow up title?
  13. They seem to have fairly advanced knowledge about geography and astronomy somehow like they have a globe in the library, indicating knowledge of a planet. Edelgard also mentioned in her question that they know that it takes thousands of years for light travel to their planet. So I assume they do have a completely map for their world.
  14. Agarthans called surface people as "beasts", so they probably hold racial superiority against rest of the world. Not only they have higher tech, considering their hostile stance against dragons. Surface people, who's blood has been "polluted" by dragons (through crests) are likely viewed by them as inferior race, making the term "beasts" double meanings here.
  15. Many people thought Edelgard was Immaculate One due to her hair color and the crown On the other hand, despite that theory was wrong, it now makes more sense to me where the crown came from. It's likely the crown was used by Serios herself in the imperial court before she moved to the newly built monastery in year 185, thus representing Immaculate One. From the mural it seems that Seiros links to Immaculate One was a public knowledge back in the days, as Rite of Rebirth mural in DLC shows Seiros as the dragon attending the ceremony.
  16. Didn't Alm basically lost in that premonition? But Rhea beats Nemesis...
  17. Before the E3 trailer, the vast majority of people didn't believe a time skip design, I remember seeing so many people claiming this game was going to be an school dating sim.
  18. Pointing out that official church claim was the Emperors traced their lineage to Seiros.. For vast majority of people, if not everyone outside Church and Slithers, who don't know about the blood transfusion, these books clearly claimed Seiros gave birth to the emperors. The game doesn't give solid evidence either way for the romance, but the new DLC indeed hints it's possible emperors were her descendant, at least this is believed by the Fodlan people. Wilhelm would be long dead at this point, he died before Seiros dueled Nemesis in year 91. We don't know the cause of his death, but since it was during the war, it's likely he was killed. Besides, Byleth's vision is pretty clear memory of Sothis. Sothis couldn't possibility witness interaction between Wilhelm and Seiros since she has been made into a sword by this time.
  19. Sothis and her related arcs (Nemesis, Rhea) are still criminally underrepresented. But maybe we will get a full prequel in the future like FE6/7, or a parallel like FE2/4/5
  20. Probably just below 1,300 years old Flayn says her parents were married in the cathedral in Enbarr, and the earliest mention about Enbarr's establishment is 1300 according to Ferdinand. So unless there was a church even predates the city by long*, she should be around that age. * Obviously this goes to another lore question, how far ago human began to worship Sothis? We know that official Church of Seiros didn't establish until Rhea came forward in year -41 of Empire, so there is likely some form of established religion even predates Rhea taking over.
  21. I remember, but that was like several Fates banner in a row for a few months. I think most players would agree that one TH banner ever two months or so would be reasonable, but right now we have none for six months already.
  22. I am very curious about FEH's planning, like why hasn't we getting any Three Houses contents? It's been more than six months and only one was Holiday Sothis alt. We haven't even complete one pre-skip class, let alone Church or TWISTD characters.
  23. Actually, Byleth themselves is the real answer. They are the only one that could inherit Sothis’ memory, the opening cutscene was a recall from her memory. In fact both Red Canyon levels discussed about her lost memories, plus some between level dialogues, but they then dropped this sub arc and her memory was never mentioned again like everything else about Sothis.
  24. Nemesis could probably play into Rhea's theme about losing loved ones, especially if the theory that Wilhelm was Rhea's lover was true, and that Nemesis also killed him. It also would work as a "surprise" to player that Edelgard was Rhea's decedent, Rhea would admit about it, reflecting on fighting her own bloodline. Could have Nemesis mocks Rhea that she would never get over loss of her loved ones, and have him recites names of all the people he killed (Sothis, Wilhelm, then the 11 dragons). Rhea was enraged but Byleth stops her from attacking Nemesis alone, saying something along the archetype theme of FE that strength in bonds and friendship. Rhea after battle realize it's time to accept the reality and treasure what she still has, that is Byleth as her family and friend and/or lover rather than what she lost in the past. and I thought about the additional level they could put after Imperial counter attack in chapter 14: * My new Chapter 15 Silver Snow: A Race for a Hope After defeating Imperial attacks on the Monastery, Seteth informs Byleth that they have found Rhea, who has been sighted near Tailtean Field where she fought Nemesis eon ago, but Imperial Army also got this info, Byleth and co must rescue Rhea before Imperials get her. Mandatory deploy: Byleth, Seteth, Flayn + 8 Objective: Rescue Rhea, then escort her to evacuation point Failure: Byleth, Rhea, Seteth or Flayn fell Boss: Cordelia, Arundel The level would be a rescue and extrication type. Cordelia who works for the empire, already captured Rhea and ready to hand her over to Lord Arundel from Empire. Rhea, after losing hope, simply letting herself to be captured. Rhea would be on the north side of map in the fortress (where Dimitri made his stand in CF), surrounded by Cordelia's man. Seteth would explains to player about Cordelia being the true ruler of Faerghus Byleth must fight through the defense, kill Cordelia and get Rhea. One Byleth reaches Rhea, a cutscene would play showing the two reunites and Rhea express her surprise that Byleth still lives (could even use the still CG from Enbarr with a different background). At this point, Lord Arundel and his army would show up, trying to intercept Rhea. The objective changed into escorting Rhea to an evacuation area, with Arundel pursuing player, who can choose either defeat them or simply get Rhea out. From the next level Rhea would join as an unit, player can choose either using her Archbishop class or Saint class, former being mag base while later being melee based.
