Oh cool, I can finally change the home's theme. The Hero's Merit increase is always nice to get some more easy feathers, since I'm always in need of them. Weekly Revival Summoning Events where the default focus rate is a whole 1% higher...? Kinda lame. but at least it gives people a chance to summon book 1 units. Also find it funny how one of them has 2 Lyns on the same banner. I guess the new mode is alright... the best part of it is easily the free orbs.

Fjorm just seems really out of place with the other being 2 units from PoR and Blazing Sword (I'm assuming with the free unit). I guess Sigrun and Tanith are there because Sanaki was on the last Bridal Banner. Not sure how I feel that 3 of the units on the banner are units that aren't in the game yet. It's cool that they're now in the game, but that also means they're not going to be in the summon pool once the banner's over.

Oh. It's from that one game that just really doesn't get enough love in FEH. At the very least, there's not a Fates Royal in sight, but having all of these Fates banners so close to each other is pretty tiring. Plus they were units a lot of people were wanting, so it does make sense to add these beast units (although they could at least tried going a month without having another Fates banner). On the much brighter side, Panne is also in the game now and she will be a free unit, so I can focus my orbs on the Valentine's banner.

Also, the avatar shows up in a cinematic cut scene, un-obscured by anything, and face in shot, which is really interesting. I'm guessing that maybe you don't edit your character right away, especially given how the gender selection tells the player to "select a form", and the main character seeming to take a lethal blow.

I'm really not sure how I feel about it being a another High (level of education not important) School JRPG... It looks like it's going to be mostly nobles/retainer sort of characters again, and it doesn't help that most of them look so generic. Because of the school setting, I can't see the stakes of the characters being all that high, and will probably seem really silly when it comes to saving the [world/location] from evil with what will probably be the power of friendship... and anime. On the other end of things, the gameplay at least seems interesting, and I'm hopefully whole teaching thing and ability mechanics add onto the game rather than hinder (such as Dragon Veins). And of course the avatar has to be a teacher...

Is it always like this when Ike and Soren are on a banner together?

Finally Ike gets a seasonal alt (crazy that it took so long), and Greil is also there as well. I was going to just save for Brave Micaiah since I'm not super interested in the Binding Blade banner, and I didn't really expect anything cool for most of the year, but I'll probably spend some orbs on this one. Kind of lame how Greil and Ike are armor units, but oh well. And on the plus side, I can finally make Ike Emblem.

I honestly would mind alts so much, but so many alts have been added to the game within 2 years that I could honestly care less for them (unless they happen to be a character I really like, but just those two exceptions). And before that, I had a problem with seasonal units, since so many seasonal banners come out each year, and it only seems like the number of seasonal banner will only increase. I remember with the first Easter banner, I was pretty excited to summon for there exclusive units; even though I honestly didn't care for most of them, it was still exciting to summon one. With so many seasonal banners, with how these units will have some super powerful rare skill/weapon, they just become something so mundane, especially when all but one of them were exclusive to just two games of the entire series during the first year, one of which I really wasn't a fan of. It got a little better during the year, but it still mostly consisted of Fates and Awakening, with only three seasonal banners excluding characters from those games. What makes it even worse is the fact that Facts just can't seem to figure out that other units besides Xander, Ryoma, Takumi, Camilla, Azura, and Corrin exist. What makes these banners even worse is that they usually consist of armor units... Seasonal banners really aren't that interesting due to similar characters and unit types being used over and over again. As for non-seasonals, they just kind of take up a spot on a banner that could of gone to a character who isn't in the game (poor Knoll lost his spot to Eirika), and some of these banners would just have 3 units, with one of them being an alt (such as the first Radiant Dawn banner). And then there's the Adrift banner which was almost all alts (didn't help that they already had a bunch of alts at that point). I feel that alts could be handled well, but so many of them get pushed out, with so many of them being the same characters, and so many of them are armor units.

Which is honestly the best thing about her no longer being in CYL. At least now there won't be any drama surrounding her next year.

Duma...? I mean, he's pretty cool and all, but still a bit disappointing that it wasn't a Radiant Dawn character (because that would of actually made sense given the fact we just had a Radiant Dawn banner and GHB). I guess Grima F!Robin is no longer the only colorless dragon, but it is kind of odd that the Mythic banner are basically just the Legendary banners now... hopefully we'll still get summoning tickets just like the other Mythic banner.

I guess 6 Camilla's just isn't enough for her fans... I guess I'll go all in for Micaiah now. It's really nice to see her in the top 2 now, and since Marth and Alm are most likely to win the male side, I'm just going to try bumping Micaiah into first, or at the very least keep her in within top 2. Being Brave alts for Alm, Marth, and Micaiah is all I could really ask for right now, and would be happy with just that.

Well I know that I'm most certainly giving my first vote to Alm since he desperately needs an alt. Will probably invest most of my other votes into Micaiah.

Oh boy, another Fates banner with everyone's surprise guest, Camilla. I guess I could talk about their skills or whatever, but didn't even bother since I know that I'm not summoning on this banner; not even going to use the free summon. It was nice that we actually got our yearly Radiant Dawn units, but even more Fates units...? I guess hold them back for a whole month was just too much for IS. We also now have 6 Camillas, and she hasn't even a CYL or a Legendary alt, all seasonal variants (I guess except for that banner in November, but what's really the difference). I guess if any good were to come out of it I guess it be the fact that I don't have to do Tempest Trial now.
