  1. Indeed! But you cannot force me to explain the obvious to you. Or will this result in another warning?
  2. About IS making a loss if they were to make a good discount on orbs and their workers not being able to pay their rent? Plox!
  3. A proper discout is to give lots of premiu currency for a small amount of money once per month. Feh pass certainly isnt one of them. I wouldn't say I feel entitled. The difference between us you are more of a corporate thinker who is worried about a companies income and I am more of a consumer who recognizes value when I see it or the lack thereof. Like I said if they ever did such a discount (I know they won't), they wouldn't be at a loss but generate more revenue instead. But they will not know because they won't try. It's actually quite funny discussing it with you. We basically bring up the same arguments all the time. 🙂 I like it!
  4. not so much entitled. entitled would be to say we need to get 100 orbs more per month for free. whatever I would actually consider the pass if it was without the p2w stuff and if it came with 100 orbs. thats not entitlement, thats a good value offer. other gacha games do proper discounts why can't feh do it? and yes, generating orbs doesn't cost anything, they don;t need to pay it. quite a lot of people would buy it, in the end they would be better off
  5. I think it has become pretty uncool even to talk positively about the feh pass. Some people might not care but others don't wanna be the guy who bought the feh pass. Might seriously affect long term revenue as lots of people (me included) declared not to spend anymore. We will see in a year! I wonder if Nintendo realizes the bad PR it generated and if they will even attempt to smooth things out or if greed has taken the better of them and they don't care.
  6. Ofc they can afford it! But they prefer this instead: 🙂
  7. Renting a flat is also subscribing in a way and people are fine with it. People who buy the feh pass also rent a flat. Logical conclusion: people who buy the feh pass are fine with it. Ofc they are 🙂 ! Jokes aside, feh pass is a voluntary gift to IS unlike netflix where you absolutely must pay if you want to use the service. Wow, is a netflix subscription actually the same price as the feh pass? Only difference is a netflix sub can be shared among 5 participants. Not bad! The feh pass should have been an offer people can't refuse. Like adding 100 orbs to it - I would have subscribed. It wouldn't have ruined Nintendo as we know by now they could afford it. Or make it like Netflix, no pass no game, separating the tares from the wheat.
  8. Very well explained. Occasional spending is one but a subscrption is another. Most people will agree spending on gacha is literally wasting money and some people who do spend don't feel good about it. But as you said, people who spend occasionally can easily forget about it, whats $20 every now and then. A monthly subscription, however is something that adds up over time. I bought myself 2 physical brandnew switch games recently and paid exactly 2/3 of what the pass would cost me for a full year. I can resell those games if I like. Especially new players who arent hooked yet will think twice. The bad publicity feh received wont help either
  9. I think you are slowly bringing this to another fanboy level. Nintendo frequently stated early on feh was meant to introduce new players to the franchise. The goal was to sell more console games and prolly consoles. That's why they went for the most simple game structure possible: a watered down version of fire emblem with casual play in mind. They were even surprised at the level of success (and profit, lol) so they kept the wheel spinning. Feh was always a little bit light on content but people kept spending anyway and nintendo realized there is lots of money to be made - they got used to it and now that revenue dropped from fantastic to just magnificent they had to introduce the dickpass. Thankfully there is lots of people out there who are worried about feh's well-being so it will never die.
  10. That statement simply means the development from scratch costs more than your average android game and is a risk if it fails. It will still be cheaper to develope than a 3a console game with high production values (think witcher3). Once the base game is finished they just add to it and I don't wanna bring up those anniversary maps again. As I mentioned before it doesn't really matter to me as either way I am not gonna spend a single cent on this game after the introduction of the offensive dickpass. Feh has always been critisized for confusing new units with content. I fear this will be the case until the game shuts down. Seriously? 13 anniversary maps. Good thing they just put 3 enemies on the map, hope next year they will go down to 2 in case a new player might struggle, lmfao, or better make it 1, preferrably without weapon equipped. Just out of curiosity, have you built any buildings in mjolnir strike yet? I still haven't touched those, I don't even remember what those things are called.
  11. Got a 5* tethis from the last ticket and a sonya from greils banner.
  12. Got Nils from the free summon. +atk-spd .Wonder what the tickets might hold
  13. @XRay I have no idea how much google fee is but in the end even if its 30% it doesn't change the income proportions as physical copies will have similar costs, attached or even higher imo, retailers and wholesalers won't distribute for free.
  14. A lower pricepoint of some games would just further prove my point.
  15. @XRay I don't know how reliable these figures are but according to https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/Fire_Emblem The total sales of ALL Fire Emblem games is about 16 million. Let's say each copy will have sold for $60 on average then that's about $960mill total revenue. Might be more with dlc. If you put that against $656million total revenue for just FEH then you realize they make quite good money here. Of course I can't say anything about the development costs of games like 3h, radiant games or the 3ds games but I would assume a game like three houses might have cost more to develope. Would that be a fair assumption? Keeping feh alive, creating new units, maps, etc. won't be near the costs of developing a new game, that would preposterous. We also need to bear in mind, the distribution of feh and its products (feh pass, orbs) will be much cheaper than producing, shipping and selling cardridges, cards and discs (albeit thanks to the digital age that has changed over recent years) All I was ever implying is that a mobile game like feh is relatively low investment with huge income. Was I wrong?
  16. That's just fanboy talk. Deep within you know perfectly well how mobile gacha games work. But you wanna defend those practices because you are a fan and chances are you have spent quite a dime on it. I never said the game isn't worth our time or even money to some people. Its just blatantly obvious the game is relatively cheap COMPARED to what they earn. Easy to maintain and not even trying to go the extra miles (see anniv. maps and quests). And why would they if people spend on it regardless. Hell, people are even buying a dickpass. If I was Nintendo I would keep it that way and make some more millions.
  17. I am totally fine with spending 20k feathers to get a skill to 5*. We get plenty of feathers these days. Skills locked behind grails is much worse imo. I feel less inclined to spend any grails on skills. 2700 grails for a tt unit can take quite a while to accumulate, so I rather not waste any. Guess thats where the feh pass would come in handy... welp
  18. Exactly on point. Map creators make things easy. They will also have a unit creator. It's not like they write code from scratch for every new unit.
  19. Powercreep is part of any gacha. We have to deal with it or stop playing. Whales need incentives to spend more money to stay on top. Personally I am not interested in high tier pvp, the difference in rewards is laughable at best anyway. Compared to other gachas feh's powercreep is not just limited to units stats but skills also.
  20. Well, I think this one takes the cake. Show me where I said that.
  21. These are perfectly legitimate examples.
  22. Fortunately feh doesn't require much overtime - 13 anniversary maps cannot be that hard to produce, lol - same goes for the bhb rerun quest 🙂 In the end I think we will have to agree to disagree. What does it matter anyway? Right?
  23. I doubt all people mentioned in the credit work full time on heroes. Given the fact IS only consists of 150 employees and they somehow managed to develope three houses on the side.
  24. I never said that. You read that into it. And disregarded most of of what I actually said. Forget it. Doesn't matter really. Happy Valentines day!
