How would you describe yourself, personality-wise?

Well, I get jealous easily, and I may be a little clingy, and I’ve never been known to be the one to initiate conversation. But I feel like I’m easy to get along with once others get to know me, and I’m loyal, I also like helping people.

To be honest I feel like an idiot because I don’t really like describing myself because I feel like describing oneself is always either self-centered or self-deprecating, some cases maybe not, but most.

Before Covid hit, was there anywhere you enjoyed going? (The library, a park, a cafe, etc.)

That smug little icon gives me an idea, what's your favourite anime and why?

Hmmm... I have a couple favorites, but I think my absolute favorite would be Steins;Gate.

I love the characters and how they interact, especially Okabe and Faris, the story and narrative are nice too. But as someone who hasn’t played the VN yet, I can’t compare the two.

But lately I’ve been on a Youjo Senki kick again.

    What’s your favorite beverage?

What is your favorite video game soundtrack overall? (Or 2nd favorite, if SoV is your preferred soundtrack.)

While a lot of video game OSTs stand out to me, I think my favorite would have to be Bastion, lots of OSTs have at least a couple songs I don’t particularly enjoy, but when I listen to Bastion’s I don’t skip any songs.

    What’s your ideal weather like?

  4. Just beat Transistor today. I don’t think it’s as good as Bastion, but it’s still a pretty good game. The combat could be frustrating at times due to lacking any sort of dodge or blocking mechanics, so you kinda have to run around like a headless chicken to avoid getting hit.

Now I’ll be trying to get as many achievements as I can on this next playthrough, but I’m also still playing Valkyria on chapter 15 so I’ll have to balance those out. In terms of VC1, snipers are actually useful in the late chapters.

  5. Three days ago during the Steam sale I bought Transistor, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, and Valkyria Chronicles. I haven’t started Transistor or Galactic Battlegrounds yet, just Valkyria. Valkyria Chronicles is a game I’ve been eyeing for years, but haven’t bought because my Laptop (probably) couldn’t run it, but earlier this year I inherited a PC from my brother, so I’ve been catching up on games I couldn’t run before.

Valkyria Chronicles is just as good as I hoped, I’m on chapter 11 right now. The only issues I have with the game is that I hate fielding Largo and Rosie just to get extra CP, and I have had two crashes during my 21 hour playtime, which is annoying because Steam thinks the game’s still running even though it’s not and the only way to get it to actually stop is by restarting my computer.

Edy is by far my favorite unit, she’s very cute, cute enough that I might change my profile picture to her, but I don’t know. Something else I like about the game are the weapon trees, I love deciding who gets what based on their potentials and how I use the unit. I also like the character’s last names, some of them are really cool, I’m partial to surnames that end in “-son” due to growing up in a state where everyone is of Scandinavian descent.

  6. Well, the only games I played this year that came out in 2020 are From the Depths and Total Tank Simulator, and FTD might not count because it’s actually been in early access for years now until a couple weeks ago.

    • From the Depths is probably my favorite game ever. I currently have 716 hours, which is lower than most FTD players but hey.
    • Total Tank Simulator is a fun little time-killer, but can get a little boring after a while, and has optimization issues.

As for games I played this year not from 2020:

    • Bastion is a very good game with a great ost. The end of the last level hit me hard, right in the feels.
    • War of the Human Tanks I enjoyed way more than I thought I would even though it’s rather cheesy. I can’t wait to play the next two!
    • And lastly I’d like to mention Hearts of Iron IV. While It’s fun, the cost of the DLC is very expensive, even on sale. it also has lots of achievements I’m never gonna get too, but that’s rather irrelevant for most people.
