  1. Edelgard and Lysithea have a paired ending! Still testing, of course, but I think it might be both, tbh? Like, if they have the same amount of support points, then it's first come first serve.
  2. I wanted a morally grey lord from her character and I got one, so no complaints at all from me! I really like her.
  3. In the middle of my first playthrough and going for Edelgard! When I play Golden Deer, I think I might go and recruit Dorothea and S rank her. Blue Lions... not sure yet. Maybe Mercedes. Then Rhea for fourth route, probably.
  4. Re: The way the routes end abruptly, this might just be me, but I'm usually of the opinion that endings are one of Fire Emblem's weak points. So I can't say I'm surprised about that. In any case, idk. I am more used to games in this series having a lot of hate that eventually softens, not the other way around lol.
  5. Yeah, it's locked. You have to recruit him just by skills alone if you want him.
  6. Hahaha, hey, I want to romance Rhea. She's scary, I like that. Edit: Also Mass Effect's head writer wasn't gay, Dragon Age's was.
  7. I could be wrong and I'll happily cop to it if I am, but there has really been nothing to point to the f/f supports being different than their m/f counterparts. Edit: On that note, I think it's a little unfair to act like lesbians get so much good representation in general media when that's most definitely not true. There was, after all, a reason for the outcry at how many lesbians were dying in media for a while there, among other things.
  8. Well, I really hope it's a Genealogy remake too. That they even cited it as an inspiration is probably making me too hopeful lol.
  9. Oh my god, I can't even look at Gamefaqs anymore lol. I'd just get mad. Because of things exactly like what you talked about. That is why I said not so much in Serenes Forest, lol, but I can see I might not have been clear enough.
  10. It seems different enough from My Castle, or expanded enough, I guess, that I have a hard time thinking of it like that, but you're not wrong.
  11. They're definitely trying a lot of new things in this one. Some feel like a natural evolution of things and some do feel completely new to me, like the school phase.
  12. As a gay woman, I gotta admit I've had to navigate this whole thing carefully, because that's how it's felt over and over. This isn't me saying you're doing it, btw, so much as me just using this as a jumping off point, but it would be nice if people were a little more conscientious about this. Not so much in Serenes Forest, thankfully, but let me tell you, I sure am tired of all the people in the fandom in general I've seen implying only straight men could ever like the bi female options in Three Houses. I quite like them, thank you! And I'm also disappointed in the bi options for men! It doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.
  13. Pleas don't misunderstand me, I'm not defending IS here. I think this was all a very bad decision on IS's part too. But the information we have that points at MByleth having these S Supports be platonic also points at FByleth having the very same ones be platonic. Really, my criticism here is less "why did you bait MByleth only" and more "if you made platonic S supports that were available for both Byleths, why didn't you bother with giving MByleth other romantic same-sex options," you know. Like. Fine. You have this romantic S support for everyone, fine, I see why you made it available for both Byleths. But then why didn't you make at least one of the other romantic S supports available for both?
  14. I've really loved Kurahana Chinatsu's CGs in general for a while, I'm really glad I like these too haha. Only let myself see a handful before x'ing out, but... nice. Though now I'm wondering about the number where Byleth is out of frame, too. We'll probably never know, but man. Did they ever have plans for more bi options? Or is it just coincidence?
