Updated with part 21! Sorry for inconsistently updating this thread, and for being absent for such a long time. School issues, family issues and my general laziness are all factors into this, I hope you guys understand.

I mostly listened to stupid mainstream garbage up until I was about 10 (born in 1996 for reference). I then discovered Guitar Hero, and started getting into rock music, mostly what was in the games (barring the heavier stuff like Slayer and the death metal stuff). So I primarily listened to bands like The Living End, Foo Fighters, AC/DC and Queens of the Stone Age. A few years back I started getting more and more interested in heavier and more complex music, so I now listen to a lot of alternative and progressive metal like Chevelle, Opeth, Dream Theater, Tool, Karnivool, Protest the Hero, Mastodon and The Sword. I mostly enjoy music that is more than just *wubwub*sex*wubwub*party*wubwub* (I hate dubstep by the way) and actually has some interesting meaning behind the lyrics and complex instrumentation. I still like a fair bit of rock stuff (AC/DC, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Pearl Jam) and even some ska-punk (Mighty Mighty Bosstones). I've also recently taken a liking to video game music, and I also really enjoy comedy music like Weird Al, The Lonely Island and Tenacious D.

Please let them have in-game events and not just be mystery gifts. At least mix it up a little, do something creative with them. I hate the whole concept of event Pokemon anyway, and I think that they should just be available without having to do internet shenanigans, so if they do something creative with them like what you're speculating, Arch, then I'll be a little happier about it.

There are 10 floors in the Lagdou Ruins if I remember correctly...

Linear for me. I really can't get into games that just throw you in to a massive world and don't really tell you what to do. For me, I need guidance and order, I need a specific goal to do and I don't like going out of my way to explore to maybe run into a sidequest. I'm not opposed to freedom and exploration, but I find that too much of it overwhelms me and makes me not want to play. That's why I don't play things like Skyrim, as a game like that just throws you into a massive world with a vague goal to work towards, but is more of a "find your own fun" sort of deal. It doesn't really explain why I like Minecraft or Terraria, but there are always going to be exceptions.

I'm seeing them too, and it's hilarious. The blue arms do bother me, but mainly because it's an inconsistency with the designs (and only ever happened as an error in the comics and cartoons). Look at Amy's design. Her arms are still skin colour, and Sonic's aren't. It's just inconsistent, and inconsistency bothers me (that's why I appreciate the centre mouth, because side mouths are dumb. The mouth is on the right side of his face! *camera change* suddenly it's on the left side of his face!). It's not something people should be freaking out over like they are. Honestly, the thing that's pissing me off the most is that Roger Craig Smith is still voicing Sonic (even if the game is good enough to warrant a purchase, I will mute the game because Smith's voice hurts my ears). The game *should* be good though, looking at the track record of the team's CEO, but knowing the Sonic franchise and trying to do something different, I don't have high hopes. Surprise me, Sega. Also have to mention, those in-game models look utterly hideous. Bad designs aside, they just look awful. The entire look of the game really reminds me of Crash Bandicoot as well. One more thing: do you think that Knuckles will be re-cast because of his redesign? I honestly can't see Sega keeping his voice the same as it is now, that would just make the whole situation even more terrible and hilarious than what it already is.

Ugh, that trailer looked awful. I appreciate that it seems to have more than just Sonic as a playable character, but everything else just looks so terrible. I hate the "music" used in the trailer, I hate the redesigns, and I hate the voice actors. Please, for the love of god, only use this for this game and this game only. Remember what happened when Crash Bandicoot got redesigned? Oh god, is the show keeping Colour's sense of humour? Fuck right off. This is gonna be another one of those things that only I seem to hate and everyone else loves even though it's clearly shit. The game better be fucking phenomenal.

Kanto: Lorelei Johto: Koga Hoenn: Drake Sinnoh: Aaron Unova: None Kalos: None Champion: Steven I found pretty much all of the E4 in both Gen 5 and 6 to be very forgettable, and their actual fights were terrible (same goes for the Gen 6 gym leaders).

Part 9 and 10 are up. I've decided to do something a little different with the route split. I'm going to use a completely different team on each route, and let you lot decide which team I use for endgame. I've got a rough idea of the teams that I want to use, but you're totally welcome to suggest units or teams for each route.

First one I got was a shiny Sunkern in Emerald. That was about 5 years ago, and it's long gone. The next one I found after that was last year. A Makuhita in an Emerald ROM. I also recently found a shiny Pidgey in Heart Gold. In Y, on release day, literally the first Pancham I ran into was a shiny. I've also found a shiny Wingull recently while doing some Pokedex grinding.

Both parts of Chapter 6 are now up! This chapter has my first major fuck up of the Let's Play. I've finished recording up to Chapter 8, which means I'm now getting started on the route split! I am going to be recording both routes, but Ephraim's route will be uploaded first, because that what the poll told me to do. Hmm... I can think of a fair few that I actually like. Froakie/Frogadier/Greninja (really started to grow on me quite quickly, now it's my favourite of the starters) Fletchling/Fletchinder/Talonflame Honedge/Doublade/Aegislash Clauncher/Clawitzer Pancham/Pangoro (found a shiny one first time I encountered it) Tyrunt/Tyrantrum Helioptile/Heliolisk (I like the little dance Heliolisk does in Pokemon Amie) Skiddo/Gogoat (I'm on a goat, motherfucker) Fennekin/Braixen (I don't really like Delphox's design) Hawlucha Yveltal Sylveon Volcanion (finally, a water/fire type! Been wanting that type combo for a very long time.) Conversely, these are the one that I really don't like: Xerneas (horns are so massive, it looks ridiculous) Swirlix/Slurpuff (who the fuck thought that a fairy floss and a cake pokemon were good ideas?) Spritzee/Aromatisse (designs look really crappy) Dedenne (ANOTHER fucking electric rat?) Klefki (a keyring Pokemon... seriously?) All of the mega evolutions. All of the others I feel really meh about. I'm just disappointed that there was only 70-ish new Pokemon.

Eh, could always change it to a nephew/distant relative or something if it's inconsistent with the FE8 supports. Or, we could make it Cormag instead. Haven't gone in depth on that half of the story, so I could always change it.
