  1. A continuation of the Fire Emblem OVAs from the 1990s lol In seriousness I think Sacred Stones would make an amazing netflix series by itself, though I'm not sure if giving it to Netflix to make and produce would be for the best. You'd have great moments like the escape from Castle Renais and the duel between Seth and Valter in the first episode, interesting side arcs like Duessel's defection from the Grado Army due to disagreements with the King and Cormag seeking revenge on Valter for the death of his brother. I think just keeping the general tone but even expanding on some of the darker aspects like Morva's fight against Myrrh and Orson's fall to madness would be great viewing.
  2. I actually quite like the long range of bows given to archers in SoV and Three Houses, I feel like it opened up the archer to being a lot more involved in tactics since I always felt that archers had to be used very conservatively in combat to avoid being rushed by the enemy. Hand axes I never found to be something that replaced bows since bows give the advantage of being effective against flying enemies. While hand axes have their uses, they also tend to generally be much less accurate and more used to give specific units additional range, rather than as a competitor for the bow. That being said I think I would like for archers to generally have the weakness of not being able to directly counter if attacked from a range of 1, since being vulnerable up close is one of the things I felt always defined archer units and makes the tactical decision to use them go hand in hand with the proper placement of archers. Maybe as a skill for individual units to have it'd be nice, in addition to the 1 range bows the series already has, but I'd refrain from allowing them to counter direct attacks.
  3. I think this idea could work really well, especially if they raise the stakes by having villager type characters (or even unarmed students of yours) as units you need to protect. When I thought of this, my mind immediately thought about Valkyria Chronicle 2's missions centering around the assault on Lanseal Academy and the emotional, social, and material impact that had on the game's overarching storyline. It could work well as either an endgame or a climatic point in FE:TH's story (The Harry Potter jokes and comparisons would probably reach a high point though). My only question would be who exactly would attack the school; making it one of the three nations on the continent could turn the map into a sort of civil war and add real emotional impact to the story, while a different outside force could serve as a unifying factor for the student factions
  4. I think Anna should be the only concrete character to return, I felt like the addition of Awakening characters in the Fates storyline was purely motivated to pander to the audience that really liked Awakening and was part of what made Fates feel like a game designed around what made Awakening popular. That being said, I think characters a few popular lord characters like Marth, Alm, or Ike could be implemented well as a sort of "legendary historical figure" type deal, though I wouldn't want to make their inclusion a central focus of the game. That depends though when and where exactly Fodlan is located though in the greater FE universe, and more importantly whether or not it makes sense to do it that way.
  5. I'm a Canadian around the Toronto area right now, where I was raised and currently attend school at for now. While I don't live in the city and my actual experience within it has been limited to a few conventions, days out with friends and some events, I like the city a lot; it has a certain charm to it that I don't think is replicated in many other places. Foods also pretty damn good, especially local
  6. Hey guys, I'm Margrave, and I've been a fan of the series since at least Shadow Dragon and have played most of the games from FE6 onwards. I'm not really a big forum type guy but who knows, maybe I'll learn something.
  7. Hello everyone! Name's Margrave (Or Margarine depending on who you ask), and I'm a long fan of the series, since Shadow Dragon was first released and have atleast played most games from the Game Boy Advance onwards, with my favourite games thus far being New Mystery of the Emblem and Shadows of Valentia. Hope I can interact and have fun with you folks.
