  1. How? How does porting you game to multiple Nintendo consoles not count as proof of a history with said console brand? Also, if we're going to use you're logic, then Joker is in the same situation as Doomguy. He had only one appearance on the 3DS, and that was a spin-off. Yet look where we are. Dude, first of all, this a rumor, which means it might not even be true, and second, if there is a collaboration between Nintendo and Microsoft, how can you be so sure it's to get Master Chief in Smash? We don't know jack about what said collaboration is about. I'm not denying the possibility, I'm just saying if this is actually happening, it could be for something entirely different. You're opinion. Didn't know you hated Doomguy so much, but alright. And yes, it is true that Doom came out a decade before Halo. Google it.
  2. Actually, that's the opposite. The first Doom was ported for the SNES, and Doom 2 was also ported the Gameboy Advance. There was also a spin off Doom title exclusively for the Nintendo 64. Not to mention, Doom 4's been ported to the Switch, and Doom Eternal is following suit. So yeah, Doom does in fact have history with Nintendo. Bayonetta was also deemed to be "too violent for Smash", and look how well that mentality turned out. Master Chief's Xbox exclusive. Unless that whole rumor about Nintendo and Microsoft working together turns out to be a collaboration to put Halo games on the Switch or something, he doesn't stand a chance. I'd agure Doomguy's the better choice because Doom is practically the grandfather of the whole FPS genre. .....You do realize Doomguy was a thing a whole entire decade before Halo existed, right?
  3. Well, Joker looks amazing in Smash and sets a great precedent for DLC. Now then, if only a certain demon slaying marine were to show up in said DLC....
  4. Just saw the Joker trailer. Honestly, I would've preferred an SMT character over a Persona one, but that dream is long dead (If it was even alive at all). But I gotta say, Joker looks mighty impressive move wise. And the mementos stage is interesting. Stage builder also looks pretty cool. Hopefully that mode will be worth fooling around with this time.
  5. Super Smash Bros Ultimate is the greatest video game crossover in the entire history of mankind, nothing else comes close to it.
  6. I don't care. As long as it's actually worth bothering with, I don't care what tone the story is. Just be good.
  7. All I did was ask what criticisms against RWBY you thought were false, seeing as how you said 90% of them were? What are you talking about?
  8. Ayy! I love Jojo too! Parts 2 and 3 are my favorite. What about you? 90% of the criticism towards RWBY is false? Such as...?
  9. Don't waste time with him. Trust me, it isn't worth it. Anyways, if Geneology does get remade, I do hope they improve the gameplay. As much as I love the story, the gameplay isn't the best. Doesn't mean it's bad, but I hope they actually make improvements, such as improving infantry units movement.
  10. Hmm, I mean I don't know. I'd like to see Geneology get a remake, but it's got some serious competition for remake material.
  11. Compared to other communities like Final Fantasy, Smash, and Overwatch, no. But I for one have grown tired of the constant arguments over weather or not "Shin Megami Tensei is dead" and how "Persona is the only game series that matters to Atlus" and other such nonsense, but clearly people don't like me expressing my dissatisfaction, so I'm going to try and make this the last time I speak about it.
  12. Last time, I asked what you all thought were the most disappointing TV series you've ever watched. Now, I ask the opposite. What are the best TV shows, be it animated or live action, that you have seen. Mine are: Batman The Animated Series: This really was a show I didn't learn to appreciate until later in life. The one thing this show didn't way better than others was giving the antagonists human qualities. Almost every single bad guy in this show has some aspect to them, like Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, and Clayface. The noir asthetic the show went for also fir really well with the tone of the show. Samurai Jack: I've become convinced that Genndy Tartikovski is one the greatest animators alive, and his most famous work, Samurai Jack, is proof of that. The whole show is animated very well, and it has some of the best action in any show I've ever watched. Not to mention, Aku is just an awesome villian. Avatar The Last Airbender: Loved this show as kid, and I still love it now. Nearly everything, from the story, to the characters, to the amazing action was spot on. Teen Titans: Probably one of the better "Superhero Team" shows that I've watched. I really loved the dynamic between the Titans, and the show handles it's humor better than most shows I've watched. That's not to say that the show can't get serious, as any episode with Slade (AKA Deathstroke) will show you. The Twilight Zone: I didn't know what to expect going into this show that started out in 1959. I almost expected it to be a classic that was good back then, but hasn't really aged well. Needless to say, I was glad to be wrong. The Twilight Zone is weird, yet captivating with great episodes like The Howling Man, It's A Good Life, The Obsolete Man, The Masks, The Eye of The Beholder, Time Enough At Last, and To Serve Man really highlighting what the show was capable of.
  13. I don't think The Binding Blade is that good to be honest. I didn't really like the cast of characters as much, except for Lillina, the story was you typical FE story, and the gameplay is okay I guess. The same goes for Shadows of Valentia. Except this time, I didn't like the gameplay at all.
  14. So Persona 5 could be coming to the Switch, eh? Man, Atlus really does want SMT dead. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. I'd buy a Metroid Prime Trilogy port in heartbeat. Love the Prime games, would be stoked if we actually got a port. A Link To The Past Remake though? Isn't that what A Link Between Worlds sort of was? This seems pointless.
  15. So yesterday, EVO revealed the entrants leaderboard for EVO 2019. I'm super happy to see Smash Ultimate and Tekken 7 doing extremely well! I'm kinda surprised that DBFZ is so low though. Never thought that UNI would best it. Also, R.I.P BBTAG.
  16. Title is rather self-explanatory. Who are your favorite video game characters? Mine are, in no particular order: Link (The Legend of Zelda) Samus Aran (Metroid) Ike (Fire Emblem) Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) Bayonetta (Duh) Hector (Fire Emblem) Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil) Dante (Devil May Cry) Soma Cruz (Castlevania) 2B (Nier Automata) Scorpion (Mortal Kombat) Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat) Terra Bradford (Final Fantasy) Simon Belmot (Castlevania) X (Mega Man X) Erika (Fire Emblem) Bill Rizer (Contra) Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) Doomguy (Doom) Claire Redfield (Resident Evil) Jill Valentine (Resident Evil) Vergil (Devil May Cry) Flynn (Shin Megami Tensei) Shulk (Xenoblade Chronicles) Rex (Xenoblade Chronicles) Zero (Mega Man X) Alucard (Castlevania) Ryu (Street Fighter) Ken (Street Fighter) Chun Li (Street Fighter) Jin Kazama (Tekken) Frank West (Dead Rising) Cole MacGrath (Infamous)
  17. Funny joke, but that doesn't change my mind. Huh? What was wrong with Spider Man in the Marvels movie?
  18. Both the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona fandoms. I love JRPGs made by Atlus (SMTIV, Persona 3 FES, Devil Survivor Overclocked), but holy shit do they have the most divided, ignorant, pessimistic (in the SMT fandom's case), spoiled (in the Persona fandom's case) and downright petty JRPG communities to cater to. SMT fans act like their series is dead and Atlus doesn't care about them, which clearly isn't the case (See SMT V), and Persona fans are incredibly ignorant of their own series, with most of them acting like the only games that matter are Personas 3, 4, and 5, and should only be catered to them and them only, which also clearly isn't the case (Again, see SMT V). It really saddens me that the series of JRPGS I love the most has one of the stupidest divides in any gaming community I've ever seen.
  19. I like the games. I'd ask why you think that, but I don't want to derail this topic.
  20. I wouldn't exactly call SMT famous. It's probably the most niche series of JPRGs I've ever played. Hell, I'm even amazed that I've found some people here that actually know what it is.
  21. I dunno. After how hard Infinite flopped, I just have the feeling that neither company will want to invest in another installment. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
  22. Halo. Although, I tend to fix that sometime this week. Portal Final Fantasy
  23. A Shonen Jump crossover fighter made by Arc Systems. An "Anime All Stars Vs Video Games All Stars" crossover fighting game. Marvel Vs Capcom 4.
  24. Christ, forgive me for disagreeing. Why are you insisting that I'm "mad" at you for having a different opinion. I just wanted to know why you thought that, but cleary that was a mistake. lmao, I didn't make this to bait people at all. Honestly dude, that fact that this is your reaction to me making a joke kinda shows who really needs help here.
