I bought a 3dsxl (pre-owned) for the purpose of getting this game, and have not regretted it. That said, I'll probably get a some new 3ds games eventually, but I knew I'd play awakening to death, so it was worth it for me. Could always get a 2ds if you want to save a fair bit of money, but you're losing out on the 3d (and it also looks like a brick) You might get some better deals at xmas (i was gutted that I just missed out on the fire emblem 3dsxl deal that ended in late august for the UK)

In Kent's Tale, have Lyn visit the house she starts on

I have just a couple of queries about Tale 2xb Is the NPC Caelin Ranger supposed to have 0 luck? Also, the Tuscana Swordmasters that spawn have an A rank in bows for no particular reason. This is on the latest patch, but I did use the save provided a good few pages back.

Funny glitch happened to me - on ravens tale part 2, (using the save a couple of posts ago) the first house had some really weird speech - Eliwood talking to Juno, with the converstation from when Eliwood and Erik fight in Chapter 14 in vanilla FE7. Then I got a Hammerne. Sorry if this has already been reported EDIT: Seized the first slave fort, and got the speech from when you enter priscilla's vilage on chapter 14. No NPC's came out either.

I have the error where I cant progress pass the first three tales (and their side tales). Also, after completing Kent's tale, the cursor in tale select disspears off to the far side of the screen (and does this also in achievements), and you have to select the prince by using what would be the L key. Hope this helps! EDIT: When replaying Kent's Tale, Gaufrid's weapons did not reset for me (so they stayed partially used)

I think it's twice as good as Shadow Dragon. It just feels like Nintendo cared so much more about this game, with all the new dialog, downloadable chapters and the re-release of the Akaneia Saga. The story also feels more personal, and I think the OST is an improvement too. I'm yet to try anything above normal (wyverns I hate you) but I'm looking forward to pulling my hair out in a good way later.

Yeah, 15 units or less for 6x, 12x, 17x and 20x. 24x is the special one where unit count does not matter - you must have neither the Falchion or Tiki to obtain it.

not sure if this will help at all, but there is already a wyvern knight with axe animation made by a spanish fire emblem group here: and there is a axe wyvern lord animation here: sorry if i'm stating the obvious. (:

True, its good how you can choose which tale to play first now, I'm guessing the only reason some tales come before others is chronological order? It also feels right that the three Lords have their tales before anyone else.
