Atk/Spd Bond Seal is really good, looks like I'll pay even more coins this month. I'm also happy with the free Chill Res, with Catria being seasonal and Ophelia being foddered for her rally, I was hoping we might get that one for free as well. Eir being a bonus is cool, she can keep healing with her skill. As for the banner units I like Gunnthrá and Hríd and wouldn't mind getting one or both, but the banner lasts a long time. I'll wait for now. Great, even mampfoid is hating on Azura now. I think I'm going to cry.

@Johann Oh, now that the legenday banner expert is here. How likely do you think it is, that Niles will be on the March banner? I guess we should get the January legendary banner trailer before the special banner runs out, which might make it more predictable.

Wanted to get Grima in February and Eirika's skill and the mythic if it is the dark one in January. This will get difficult. That is one of the downsides of AR for sure. Every new skill and hero get's one wondering how annoying it will be to face there.

That's true yes, better spend some extra pots, than wasting all by missing out. Being asleep for most of the final hours, means I have to get a safe spot. And yes every feather matters, now that HM farming is over. Even more important to get the ones I can farm for, when GC and VG can be random.

Why wouldn't you aim for 19? Unless you need a really high investment to get the remaining score for this week. Aw, that's so unlucky. But good job getting a full success, I didn't get one in a really long time. That's really nice. Grima will be back in earth season. Also if I read it right, I could just use a dark mythic together with some legendary heroes of the current season to get free blessed units, so no defensive blessings and can't do any worse than my current failure of a defense team. And it even has Eir as a bonus unit. That seems like the perfect setup to make tier 21, which means I'm certain to fail either then or before that.

Nice, well done. I was actually hoping the cutoff would be lower so I was only at 210k score and then panicked when it got close and got to 240k which was too much of course. (Also need an HM cap increase)

Pretty good again. Red was perfect, Blue you said Quan could be replaced by a legendary, which was correct as well and colorless came down to a 50/50 guess. Also did I see that right, that Azura and Lucina will both be back in March? That might mean I am not allowed to spend any orbs until then. Also yay for someone actually excited about her. I guess there could be more but I am definitely not going to the legendary hero thread.

As I already told others, I did only 7 matches this week, so my sample size was not that big. It was easily more than half of them, and as I only played at the beginning of the week, it may have become even more, especially as the current bonus structures are cheaper than the early ones. I went for the upgrade to the ladder instead, as there are some really annoying defense setups and with now more people coming up I hope for more that may have focused more on offense instead, so I rather have an extra reset button for matches against someone who put a lot of time into making his defense. But I bought the bonus structures for this week and tomorrow I will have enough stones again to go for the 6th unit if I desire, so unless someone went really crazy with upgrading structures, I expect nearly everyone to have the 6th unit. Thanks, I don't like summoning to begin with, so I would prefer some results closer to the average. But my luck seems to only jump between really good and absolute abysmal. I would say let us save for next Lucina together, but if we get a dark mythic next I might need some and if Grima finally has a good legendary banner in February, I might need that as well. If you don't have full blessings and Eirs, it is closer but at least with 1000 to go it's still entirely up to you. And at least for me it is always better to be able to do it on my own. If I fail, it's because of my mistakes. If defense gets something done for once (or not attacked) that's a nice bonus, but having to rely on it ist just ugh. Good luck. I was in tier 19, but couldn't promote to 20. With only 3 people making it, I didn't stand a chance from the start, so no need to be sorry. I'm actually pretty happy I got half the week off instead of failing on the last day. But you just got a tier without blessings so it is likely you get another one with blessings, while I have to rush my games during the holidays if I find time at all, so you could already have closed the gap when I'm trying to climb again. Oh well, Hector seemed to love me on the L Lucina banner, but I like him and he was on my list, so I am happy with what I got, instead of bemoaning what I didn't. I wouldn't rule tier 20 out yet, if you still have only one Eir and 2 blessings you can't make it completely on your offense and would need a day without attack or some defeated units from your defense. It would likely stay close the whole week and will be a lot more difficult than for people who can score 160, but I still believe in you. Also nice screenshot leading your friends, you would actually lead mine, too. That reminds me I would need to finally clean up my friend list, half the people aren't even playing the game any more. But finding active people, without an already full list sounds like so much work. Congratulations on going up a tier. You just need the same score again and you even have blessings this time, so you have a good chance. Good luck. @Nanima You used your mobility skills really nicely to dictate how and when combat would happen. All engagements happened on your terms and up until the last enemy, you weren't attacked a single time while all your attacks resulted in a defeated enemy, excellent control of the battlefield. Then at the end you were attacked a single time and poor little Sakura took a heavy blow, but by making sure she would survive, you could finish the map easily. Well done and good to hear it as a fun clear for you as well. Also wow, how easily Sakura took out Linus, she shouldn't be underestimated.

@Zeo This map without fliers of your own can be a lot more difficult with positioning. But with getting it on the second try it looks like you had that covered pretty well. Poor Ninian taking that hard hit in the beginning, but she managed to hold on and even get the finish. Oh that's nice. But that starts in January, so you wouldn't even have to do that, but I am looking forward to the last ones.

Oh, actually that's me. I mean it was me before I got another -80. I completely stopped after Wednesday, when it was clear I wouldn't go up or down, just two surrenders for the first play per day. DehNutCase is preaching that hard counter and when I finally stopped being lazy and put it on a team a 6 man full stall team turned into the easiest match of the week. I mean it's not good, sure. Especially if you barely miss an extra match, but if that's the worst that happens to you all week, you are still in a pretty good spot.

I completely agree, going for the full 190 lift setup is a significant advantage, the ability to sacrifice a unit and still score really well makes maps a lot easier to beat. That coupled with fully invested defensive mythics puts you at a pretty good spot. And yes people shooting for the absolute top may try to get every help they can get and of course they designed the system in a way to get as much money out of them as possible. I was looking at it more from my point of view and going all the way instead of getting just some Eirs doesn't look worthwhile. Even if not doing it would lock me out of tier 20 and 21, and I am still hopeful I can get up there some day, even if it means waiting until a lot of people are past me, how many grails would that cost me together with the drop in personal ranking? It would still take over a year until I am a full +10 grail unit behind and the saved orbs would provide me with other units instead. But you are right, I should have considered, that there are other people with other goals, which may cause them to look at it in another way. If that is how you completely bomb matches, then at least you won't have to worry, that you can't keep climbing. So, there are quite a few people coming up. That's nice, I hope not all of them have absolute crazy defenses. And good luck wih that. I hope it works out for you.

@Zeo FE7 memories are always nice. Hector was starting strong. The two Vantage + special one shots were great. Lyn finished her opponent just in time to come to Hector's help against the red guy and Linus, and then held the line until Hector came back to take out the lance flier. Poor Eliwood got to do nothing, but I still really liked that one. Well done. @mcsilas Nice themed clear again and even better if it's one you wanted to do and enjoy a lot yourself. Why would you tackle the map from the bottom, when you can just throw Shiro over a mountain? There were many nice things, like Owain one shotting a blue mage or Linus and Lloyd fighting each other. And you even got it done without a lot of skills on some units. Good job.

@Zeo Oh wow, you revisit every single one of these, you really want to end it with a grand finale. Morgan just flat out defeated everyone himself this time, I guess this map just wasn't a match for him. And yes Sol and Noontime can be a big help, especially when you don't bring a healer. I have them as alternatives on my most used units.

Another good clear. Morgan was unstoppable, taking out 4 units himself. He survived effective weapons, he survived blue units and led his team to victory. Well done.

That is kind of you to say, but I can easily tell by the amount of game knowledge your posts possess, that you are far better than me. And being consistent might end soon as well, considering some of the defense teams I keep seeing. Yes, that is totally reasonable. I pulled for some myself and I will also pull for 2 copies of the defensive ones to help some. I was talking about multiple +10 Eirs, that would be a lot of orbs and bears no relation to the rewards. Do you really think there are people like that? Having my units at +10 would be such a boost, that it would make everything easier.

The thing I don't get: What's the point? I am in it for the grails. To be honest I am baffled I even could keep up this long, because I don't consider myself very good at this game. But to get Eir to +10 three times, and it doesn't stop there you would have to do it with every blessing type, to get a few more grails every week and get a finished grail unit some weeks in advance. I mean you could as well use all these orbs to get yourself a lot of units you want from new banners and wouldn't even need the grail units. Yes, you still get a shiny mythic hero. But three times? Where else would you ever use 3 Eirs at the same time? Maybe your name on the ladder is just that important and I'm just not the type for this?

Do you think 3000 people will do this? That's insane, no way I am doing this. But I may take it easy anyway after testing if I can go to tier 21.

Being determined doesn't have to be a bad thing. How many blue dancers do we have in the game? 5? A shame you didn't come across one. I hope you'll get one sooner or later, to give you more options.

@Nanima Yay, the Takumis are back. Nice job, having Summer Takumi over the Mountain to direct the other ones around and get everyone to safety. Still quite a few enemies approaching on only ranged units looked difficult. But you got three of them out unscathed, only the poor angry one got beaten up again, but he still managed to survive with a good use of Vantage to take that one unit out, without getting hit. Well done. @Landmaster Only dancers, huh? Looks like somebody doesn't shy away from a challenge. Then no blue one on top of that. But you had Safguard and Barrier Blade, so the red units should be able to be dealt with. But you surprised me even more by taking the sword out with a green unit, I guess Lene needed all her HP for later. And she did deal with Linus brilliantly surviving even the special. You found good matchups for the rest of the units and everything fell into place, well done.
