  1. I noticed a minor thing. In the translationpatch, both descriptions for the divinestone are exactly the same, but they are diffrent in japanese. For consistency with the other two stones, textslot 680 should read "Fae only." instead of "Transforms Fae into a divine dragon.".
  2. The experiement in that form kinda relies on there being 10 characters a person would remove. Like, I have little reason to actually explain why I would remove my two picks because only chosing 2 would get me kicked out of the conversation in the hypothetical scenario. Other people would possibily have the opposite issue of wanting to delete more than 10. I just want to say it as critisism because while the "Here is a hard limit so people have to engage with the concept" sounds like a good idea, it just leaves open gaps.
  3. I think if I had to remove anyone, it would be barthe and gwendolyn. I cannot come up with 8 more spots, because the other characters just belong into the game in my eyes.
  4. SS is not exactly a winner interms of story, but I would also put it over FE7.(which I aƶleady said, but yeah). Though I wonder if my perspective on the gba games storywise will shift in the following years as much as it did in the last few.
  5. I mean, or just rewrite the ending. If I am thinking about the correct ending, it does not affect anything except it stating that bern and etruria fought wars over somebody who was not even found.(Which is kinda dumb in concept)
  6. As far as I am aware, she is not the only survivor and any direct mention of that fact is a mistranslation. Her saying she is the last of her tribe works with that too(assuming that is right), because she could just be the last one to consider themself a Lorca after the remaining people scattered. When it comes to Lyn having a kid before the game....she is 15 in lynmode, guys. xD
  7. I apologise if I annoy with suddenly invading, but let's take a story about physical abuse. One story has the character constantly be saved by being beaten up and the other story shows that it is harming them. In both stories, they push against it and go out of it. I would dare to say that story A is less good about doing what it wants to than story B, unless it *wanted* to teach a lesson that is harmful. I know this is an oversimplification, but I just wanted to speak my mind here. When it comes to mental health, I think you are reaching for a diffrent point than is intended here. Someone handling depression better than someone else is not less depressed, they are both ill. But if someone is not depressed, they are likely of better mental health. The entire concept depends on comparison, just that we should not be antargonistic about it.
  8. Yey for bugfixes. Though this is ironically one of the less likely changes to be made considering they made godslaying Nosferatu an actual thing in echoes.
  9. Is the english script being used for discussion here or is the japanese one used? I am just curious because they are both bad and have overlapping issues, but they have differing highs and lows due to the way Treehouse rewrote the game.
  10. I would not remake the game but rather make a reimagining where I basically change the game to the point where it is Fe4 except it not being FE4. Inspired by the memes of the remakes being ruined by a remake. -Supports -More to the story of Sigurd and Deirdre -Making the Spirit forest it's own map -Making a final boss-map against a revived Lopt if Julia is dead before the normal final boss is beaten -Making kids and substitutes coexist -Making kids exist even when the mother was not married(In which case, the father is just unmentioned) -Making kids have the hair and eyecolor of the father if they have one. -Rewriting the story to remove mentions of death and weird sibling-relationships -FE5 mechanics -Introducing backstorycontent of the academy. -further changes that would bloat the list immensely. Basically, I would go for gold with making the game as whacky as possible.
  11. My worst thing about FE6 are the thronebosses because they make no sense. The only thing good about them is that this is not FE5 where thrones are even more powerful. They are also the only major issue not able to be fixed without altering the gamebalance.
  12. Oh yes. I should probably put "Split Lynmode into its own game" into my list for remake-wishes. The stattransfer of the original game could be done using the same mechanic as in tellius, just that both games would be on the same console.(Though I am getting majorly offtopic with this)
  13. I would honestly say that that is not exactly true. Lynmode is not its own route, it is just a weird prologue that you can skip. And the diffrences between eliwood and hectormode and the minor routesplits the game has are less change in my eyes than the Eirika/Ephraim-split in FE8 or the routesplits in FE6.
  14. I gotta take FE7. I personally do not enjoy GBA gameplay much in its execution, so I just gotta go with the thing that bothers me the most. Do not like the story much and the maps are inconsistant like nothing else. It is actually kind of a shame really because the game has the most ambitious foundation of the three, using dynamic storytelling and characteremotions.
  15. That usually changes nothing. And I did beat the chapter using the seizepoint before and the same thing happened. Did you skip the event on the test? Because it only happened when I let let the text finish normally.
  16. We might have an issue here. I have no idea if this was ever brought up, but In the endevent of chapter 10A(Internally slot 0A in FEBuilder), it uses the wrong Item-message. I cannot entirely confirm what this is about, but it appears to be related to the lengh of the text. Maybe someone who knows more about technical stuff than me might have an idea.(For references, this also happened on older versions, but no idea about japanese original. Also, screenshot looks weird because I used the debug functions of FEBuilder to end the chapter early)
  17. I mean, it barely matters anymore. Everyone already creates their savefiles in the translationpatch, except if they straight up do not care, and in that case they will never use it anyways.
  18. Forblaze is not optional and I said keep Guinivere out if the main reason for her inclusion would be an optional weapon. I never said anything about the weapon itself.
  19. Actually, that would be a solid reason to not include her. Aureola is optional, it would be a bit like if Forblaze was not a story-weapon in FE7.
  20. If only everyone would agree on that xD I have no idea why, but everyone seems to think he is one of the more stupid characters in the series.

I already talked about it on another topic, but she was supposed to join Roy in chapter1(given the current story, I would assume she just did not care about what Eliwood had to say, just speculation tho). She was likely placed into castle ostia to serve as the condition for her gaiden and they most likely just forgot to update her stats.
  22. He does have dialogue with her and Zeiss, but he just tells them that that is the end. He was originally recruitable in an earlier storydraft, so I would assume his AI is a weird leftover that they forgot to change(similar to Lilinas level and stats)
