  1. Basically: rioting & mass panic> partial technological regression> probable overhaul of the government > an few strained diplomacy attempts (or an few quick wars because plate armor isn't fucking bulletproof) > start celebrating colonialism until something like the Banana Wars happens with the "rebels" winning. Pic related
  2. I like both, but I honestly prefer Sol because let's face it: It occasionally turns an crappy situation into one that slightly reeks less of horse manure. But as convenient as they are, I can't really imagine someone planning their strategy around an random proc skill
  3. If I told you exactly where that image came from Eclipse would probably nuke the thread, lmao
  4. Nah,Garon still has him beat in that department That, too. But the OST is usually worth listening to.
  5. I won't be surprised if his soul patch was legally mandated. At this point, I'm genuinely confused on just how useful an armor knight would be on this map.
  6. Anyone knows if Wargroove 2 is any good? Holiday shopping starts tomorrow and I'm just endlessly scrolling through the list of games on GameStop and Amazon. Idk, I kind of hate most JRPGs in this day and age, and my family is calling me weird for saying stuff like that.
  7. Well, we're kind of overdue for another conflict, unfortunately. But I've always assumed that it would be an similar situation to what's going on in Ukraine than anything else. But this honestly the first that I've heard of American politicians are actually cheering it on. I'm not really surprised because just look at fucking Trump.
  8. I thought it would be an decent game? It kind of reminds of AW, but with an less corny plot.
  9. I just assumed that it was just an random meme. It's the first time that I've heard of it. I kind of meant it in the way of natural consequences. As in, your army is routinely taking an beating and the one with the bandits in the mountain pass might be one of the few maps that's hard enough to push somebody over the edge. He's an runaway noble, iirc. But even then, it's more along the lines of them not getting around to give him the usual ultimatum.
  10. It's by Square, which shouldn't really be that big of an surprise.
  11. They're almost bordering on being redundant in 3 Houses on account of how poorly they scale. But they're certainly are cheaper to run...In a game that has been giving you an lot of free stuff. But the limited usage isn't exactly an hindrance, most of the time The ones in SoV are mainly there to fill up the ranks in your dungeon-diving expeditions. I actually liked the hp costs for the spells, partially because it kept my clerics from falling behind and it kind of increased the difficulty. But the spell list is kind of lackluster, tbh. Fates locks them in an very specific role in regards to accuracy. Almost to the point where I had to start using every magical weapons that I had. With Engage, well it works. Only bad thing about it is that the decision for most of the cast is choosing between mobility, healing, or attack power in the absence of the usual method of collecting skills
  12. Oh, that's nice. Annnnnd opinion discarded. Yeah, there's absolutely no way that this won't be an shitshow. Maybe in Path of Radiance and more likely Radiant Dawn. But I never really gotten around to watching an complete series on them. Revelations is an decent candidate, but that's mainly just stopping the senile dragon god from enslaving everyone (again). In fact, most of the games could be constructed as preventing the apocalypse.
  13. It's actually pretty varied. But it's usually focused on being mostly peaceful until shit fucking happens to some random village out in the boonies. From there, it's mainly about following the breadcrumbs while occasionally picking an fight with an boss and his henchmen who's been causing trouble with the locals. At this point, it gets kind of repetitive until you get an sword that's infused with divine power...And with less fanfare, an set of keys that can open anything. With the proverbial keys to the world, you're strung along with whatever the writers consider to be an mind blowing revelation; so now you're tasked with slaying with the demon king who's probably hiding out in the underworld or something. Good luck getting there.
  14. Witches were kind of weak, from my experience. But then again, I also grinded, a bit. Yeah, but I kind of assumed that it was common knowledge to have at least two healers in anarmy that's larger than six people? I keep making that joke, but everyone keeps ignoring, lmao Yes. But maybe the series isn't just for you. FE is mainly known for the gameplay, the romhacks, and the music as opposed to how great the story is.
  15. Yeah, mines is age-restricted. I forgot that YT blocks that kind of content when it's embedded elsewhere. But it's still up, though. I have no idea what the fuck the other one is about it.
  16. I kind of figured that if there would be an Zelda movie, it would be an lot more doable in CGI on account of half of the fancy sword movies that were in games like Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. And also, monsters. We can't forget about the monsters. But an live action version of it might be an little bit out of their league.
  17. You can't go wrong with having Luna and Armored Blow on an Paladin in addition to Draconic Hex. Can't really say that Corrin's statline would be impressive as an Paladin, though
  18. I was half expecting an side mission featuring Kagetsu's kingdom or Zelkov seeking out his latest project
  19. It heavily depends on the type of armor you're wearing and how much padding that's underneath it; but the goal of an conventional bow and arrow is to cause someone to bleed out with an few severed arteries or an punctured organ. Crossbows are more or less the same, but their bolts can actually go through certain types of armor at the cost of their effective range
  20. It probably won't change much beyond slightly pushing the series out of medieval times. Because at the end of the day, only one family can actually use it; along with the fact there's only one absurdly powerful tome. Outside of just enslaving the current head of the house or trying to track down whomever has the right kind of Holy Blood to grants them power to wield it when the bloodline starts dying out; the entire idea is based upon an house of cards.
  21. Well, that's an first one for me. I might pick up next year at an discount. Or just watch an let's play of it...Eventually
