  1. This is extremely unbelievable. You have an guy who's capable of taking an sledgehammer to the face and being stabbed in the chest by some rich kid on an horse and some scrawny guy with an knife was all it took to incapacitate him?
  2. Make an cursed knife that either prevents an mage from causing magic or it an single-use thing that stuns someone. Because wizards are cool, but they're too frail to carry any form of conventional weaponry; so the devs just had them hiding knives in the sleeves of their robes and called it an day. But the main problem with throwing knives in video games is that nobody can agree on just how dangerous they're actually are. But they are fun to use, though
  3. Just create an magical knife that deals physical damage and poisons people, problem solved.
  4. Lysithea is that kid who thinks that they're hot shit, but routinely falls for some mind games that most adults would pick up on. But in all honesty, she's genuinely out of her element solely because she's trying so hard at being mature, that she's doomed to fail. As with Petra, it's more of an example of her being raised to be more responsible because of the unique situation that she's in and she's making the most of it. In fact, it's probably an cultural difference between Brigid and most of Fodlan for her to be so insightful. Cyril had nobody who cared for him aside from Rhea and some members of the church, so there's some attachment issues going on with him. With Flayn, it's either an elaborate act, it's an part of her personality, or it's something else. Or it's probably all three.
  5. It popped up as an entire world in New Super Mario Bros, IIRC. Well, there's only so many biomes that exists and this game is already combining several of them into one world; along with shuffling up the order they come in.
  6. Live in Cali, took an road trip to Texas an few years ago, went to Vegas, once. Might actually move somewhere else with the way California is falling apart, lmao That's actually kind of promising for an Mario platformer
  7. Yeah, it's actually grasslands > ice/mountainous sky world > waterlogged jungle > desert > volcanic forest (seriously, someone on the dev team was probably high, btw) > fire > sea > and then the kaiju battle against Bowser. It looks great, but I'm mainly disappointed that there's hardly anything to differentiate the characters like there was in the older Mario games.
  8. The game's an acid trip. Seriously, you touch an magic flower and Mario's hallucinations comes to life
  9. But at least it won't be buried under an deluge of third-party content, plus it might get more coverage than usual
  10. Yeah, it's mostly just paying more for either the same amount of fast food or it's significantly less of it. Rent is still high, in some areas. People are complaining about an lot of shit about economics. But tbf, we haven't really recovered from the pandemic, so there's that
  11. Yeah, but the "each species only had one move" mechanic is what killed it.
  12. Honestly, I just assumed that she severed an major artery and the dagger was coated with an fast-acting poison or something. But on the other hand, Jeralt is wearing an suit of chain mail with some armor.
  13. I think she isn't an part of the wave of people that Claude secretly hates, since he loans Lorenz and an few other characters in Azure Gleam, but not her
  14. There's an board for your misadventures through an game and another one for some general fan stuff
  15. Well, the series is filled with secondary characters being killed off; usually under the pretense of an dramatic execution or an heroic last stand. In fact, it's kind of hard to find an JRPG that doesn't kill off one of your allies.
  16. Yeah, it's what kept me going through Conquest. Mainly to see the next episode of seeing the cast do the absolute minimum of "just following orders." Of course, the one time it actually happened outside of Iago's oversight or Garon's prodding was never brought up, again.
  17. Yeah, but who else regularly complains about it?
  18. Well, they've could have used it as an opportunity to try to bring some more of the older games back onto the market for an quick buck or two. Of course, emulation will always be an thing, though
  19. Well, they've cared enough to pull some strings to keep the leakers off of YouTube
  20. Well, for one, their deaths are mainly there to point out that the world of FE occasionally has some assholes here and there and occasionally prevents the series from becoming an little bit too stagnant. Personally, I love an bit of tragedy here and there. After all,you can't expect everything to go the heroes' way most of the time.
