Among the discussion about her that I have seen so far she was described with a plethora of word, mostly negative ones, but what I see seldom is revolutionary. That’s exactly what she is, a revolutionary out to break the order of the false goddess that has kept the continent under her fist while building a society whose very core was corrupted. While letting the stuff about his position out. He is a very pitiful character. He let the majority of his family getting killed in the most gruesome way without being able to do anything. What you see of him during El‘s route makes it quite easy to understand. He is the withered husk of a once great man who has lost everything and the only reason he is alive is for Edelgard.

I like to compare him to Lorenz. They are both Nobles and they both take great pride in that, they are that similar that even their post time skip forms resemble each other and most of all they are both freaking annoying but that’s also were the difference lies. While Lorenz comes over as simply arrogant and obnoxious as well as looking down on others, Ferdinand on the other hand while also arrogant and a bit overwhelming he is extremely honest and also proactively tries to help other people as he sees it as part of his duty as a noble. So to put it simply, Ferdinand is everything good that Lorenz should be, as a Noble naturally.

At least it was in previous games like that, that classes would naturally limit the stats cap corresponding to the classes specialty, by example a mage unit wouldn’t have a higher dev cap that a armor unit and so on and the same goes for the class itself a beginner class has lower stat caps than a advanced class. In your case it might just be a annoying bug because 50 seems just a bit low for this game.

Now that I have played a bit besides the usual things that everyone says I want to add that you should definitely do the fishing mini game. I got lucky with my first bait and caught a Silver Fish which got me 200 in money while not a lot it is by no means little so this is one way to get money besides your salary and yes you get a salary as a teacher which rises depending on your teacher level. By the way the fishing game also raises the teacher level experience though only by 10 so far maybe depending on the bait you get more.

The Items you get aren’t that bad I have to say I just scanned 4 Amiibo‘s 3 FE and got besides some food, a vulnerary, a anti toxin and even a intermediate seal. Sure those things aren’t that difficult to get probably but it will be less troublesome like that.
