I'm one of those "Hardcore" 80's fans and I absolutely loved it. People need to realize the original show was just a half hour advertisement for toys. Its not supposed to be thought provoking, it is a big dumb summer blockbuster where you just need to sit back and watch thing explode.

...And yesterday just proved it. 3 Pages of stuff while I was gone, but during my shift there was barely half a page.
