  1. Hello Serenes, I know I'm posting this in the middle of the Three Houses release hype, but I wanted to tell you about my next project regardless. I decided to have a go at another soundtrack arrangement, and the Gaiden soundtrack is now uploaded and ready to listen to. It can be directly accessed through the link below. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbd_a-jOdW-pNSI4Ht2kUK0jRRDAG9QLt
  2. Thank you. I didn't know I placed it in the wrong forum. Yes, I bought it from a trusted seller. I was just curious if others had run into the same problem as I did.
  3. I think recruiting Fernand in Echoes would have been interesting, like a secret character or something. It would be so fun to see him get a sort of redemption arc or something.
  4. Hi Serenes, I hope you're all enjoying Three Houses. I'm not, and this is why. About a week before the launch of this game I went to a large entertainment online store to pre-order my game, as I've always favored physical copies over digital once for large games like this. The price was best at this particular site and I was looking forward to trying out the game for myself. I'm very good at avoiding any kinds of spoilers to games. The only things I know about the game is what I saw in that first trailer from so long ago, and then from the 5 year time-skip trailer. Because I wanted to experience this game myself with all its twists and turns I've been avoiding this site for the same reasons. Since everybody is discussing various aspects from the new game I thought it best to stay away from the forest for a while until I've at least played through the game once. However, I couldn't foresee the problems that would hit me. A week AFTER launch I sent a mail to the corporation and asked why I hadn't yet received the game. After a quick response from their support team I learned that they themselves hadn't received the games they were expecting, and said that they would get back to me as things progressed. Today I got home to find out that they had sent me a new mail: "We're sorry, we couldn't send you the game you ordered because we haven't been able to receive the products either." That made me sad at first of course, but they offered full compensation and even a consolidation gift so hopefully I'll get something else. But it's still unfortunate that it turned out this way. Thus, I haven't yet received the game. I'll probably try again tomorrow to order it again from somewhere else. I'm very hyped for the game, so I'm certain it will be worth the wait. Did any of you guys have a similar experience to what I just went through?
  5. These are sad news indeed. I liked Etikas content and positive energy. Rest in peace.
  6. Hey cat, thank you for your kind words and feedback! It was very heartwarming for me to read. 1. You have my permission to use my work for your FE12 rewriting. Best of luck, I look forward to what's to come! Thanks in advance for crediting me, I appreciate it. 2. In time I plan to recreate more Fire Emblem soundtracks using the GBA sounds, and since FE3 is part of the series, it's not impossible that these may show up in the future. 3. As I lack a reddit account, I can't post directly there. But I would be extremely grateful if you were to spread the word ahead and get my arrangements out there. You would do me a favor. 4. Thanks for showing me the nice mashup! While I don't mashup songs myself, I'm not against people making mashups using my arrangements. It would be an honor. Nice to meet you and thank you so much for listening! I will happily answer PM's if you have further questions. :)
  7. Before we begin, I sincerely hope this is the right sub-forum to post this thread in. I wasn't sure where to put this text, so I'll try to post it here. If there is a better place to put this, please tell me. With that said, I've spent my free time these last months arranging the Fire Emblem 1 soundtrack with sounds from the GBA iterations of Fire Emblem. I've been uploading my music to YouTube but it's quite difficult for a new content creator to overwin the algorithms and find their audience, so I'm just leaving this here for those who would be interested to drop by and have a listen. The arrangements are not made for insertion into rom hacks, but are simply made for fun in an attempt to enhance the original soundtrack with better samples while still feeling nostalgic. If you're interested and decide to drop by, feel free to show your support by dropping a few likes or comments on my videos. That would really help out in reaching out to interested people and making it easier for them to stumble upon my arrangements. And feel free to subscribe if you're interested in future projects I've planned to create. I consider my work to be completely free to use by anyone in their own creative works; my only humble wish is to be credited if possible and also sending me a link to their finished work as I'm genuinely interested to see the fun things you can come up with. Finally, if you've got feedback, questions or comments of any kind, please post them right here or over in the comment sections on my videos. I welcome all respectful communication. I will be out-of-town for a few days after posting this, but I'll be sure to respond as soon as I get back home again. Thank you for reading and sticking with me. Without further ado, here is the link to the YouTube playlist. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbd_a-jOdW-oDNTKRu7Vy4IPu48xihVgm
  8. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 a few months ago and I'm quite happy with my purchase. Since it's an earlier model it came with a cheaper price, so that's what I went for. Though I'm certain the later models are just as nice if you'd like better specs.
  9. Hello everybody! I've used this site extensively since I discovered the Fire Emblem franchise back in 2005, but I haven't really joined any conversations here. Until now. I am Xane, a musician and chameleon hailing from the frozen tundras of the north. My first FE game was Blazing Sword, and I've been hooked even since. To this day, I've played every single main FE game, but sadly not finished all of them yet. The reasons I drop in to Serenes from time to time is to read about community thoughts on various Fire Emblem mechanics, characters and other things, try out new rom hacks or just get some additional information about the games. Besides Fire Emblem, I spend time playing other strategy games like Civilization or Advance Wars. I also like listening to music and produce my own from time to time. I'm looking forward to spend more time here! ?
