So I guess that raises the question of when it's optimal to promote your units. Is it better to promote right away or master a class and then promote?

I’m really excited to get to know all the characters. The short bios we got on Twitter are nice, but I’m itching to know more.

I could see it being useful if you’re on a map with anti-cavalry weapons or something, but yeah, it doesn’t seem like something you’d use a ton.

Here’s hoping the graphics get just a bit more polished by the time of the game’s actual release. If they don’t, though, I won’t be all that bothered. They’re fine as is, but like others have said, they just look a little rough.

That’s a good point. It’d make sense to have Dimitri be that high of a level for a demo like this.

The level disparity is pretty interesting. Dimitri was level 24, while Dedue was only level 14. Obviously the House Leaders will tend to be higher leveled than the others, but a full ten level difference? I know the House Leaders get boosted experience, but sheesh.

I hope some of the white magic is like SoV with Warp/Rescue/Invoke/etc. Anything that gives healers something more to do than just heal, really.

I'm picking the Golden Deer kids for my first run, and I think I'll pretty much stick to their strengths. Of course, if I need a specific class, that might change things. Hilda is 1000000000% going to be a Brigand no matter what though, just because it'd be funny to make a spoiled rich girl chop people to pieces with an axe.
