Could someone tell me if Jeralt is actually Byleth's father and what happened to Byleth's mother?

Absolutely! Death Note was my introduction to manga/anime (my sister was a huge fan and kinda forced me into reading it lol). I think it's a really good series that anyone can enjoy, whether they're into manga/anime or not. I prefer the anime myself (the ending of the manga is slightly different) but both are great.

Isn't 2021 Genealogy's 25th anniversary? I think that would be the perfect year for a remake...

Nice to see someone else cares about Laurent lol, I'm still pissed he's the one Awakening kid that didn't get in (also pissed Kjelle got in over him but I guess Heroes is lacking in non-seasonal armoured units). Yes. I'm still salty that they didn't get something like the Rise of the Deliverance DLC to themselves, I wish they'd been given more screentime. 😞 It would be nice to see the trio get some alts in Heroes, aside from that I think it's about time we had some beast seasonals (Naesala when???).

Maybe, if they decide to switch to in-engine cutscene or hide their hair and face in cutscenes. While I much prefer not to have an avatar, I wouldn't mind seeing more customisation with skin tones, eye colours etc. What annoys me is having a customisable name when there's full voice acting, because then the characters just awkwardly avoid saying your name, making it kinda pointless to be able to choose your own in the first place. Since Byleth isn't customisable appearance-wise, I really don't get why you can change their name when everyone just calls you 'teacher' or doesn't address you at all. But if they continue to have avatars in Fire Emblem (which is pretty likely), I presume their name will still be customisable.

S Tier: Claude: I've liked him since I first saw his portrait last year, and the fact that he's supposedly a schemer makes me really excited for his character. I hope his personality is more like that than the whole 'friendship is magic' thing. A Tier: Linhardt: He's a mood. Dorothea: Like Claude, I liked her as soon as I saw her portrait, she seems pretty friendly. B Tier: Hilda: Wasn't expecting her to be like Charlotte, but I like it. Raphael: Never thought I would rank him this highly, I actually really disliked him after seeing his character profile but after hearing him in the Treehouse footage he grew on me, hoping he's more Valbar than Effie. C Tier: Petra: I like her design a lot. Hubert: I kinda like him ironically, he seems like he could be a pretty fun character. Ingrid: I like her design a lot (at least I did until I noticed her fat fingers and long neck lol) but I'm not really a fan of her English voice, she seems alright though. Ferdinand: I didn't like him at first, but he's grown on me since seeing some gameplay footage. D Tier: Lorenz: I don't know how to feel about him, I mean his design is hideous but I guess that's the whole point, and although we haven't seen his post-timeskip portrait yet his character model looks pretty good. As for his personality, it could be amazing or it could be a disaster. I always see him being compared to Virion and Leon, two of my favourite characters, so he has a lot to live up to lol. Marianne: I was intrigued by her but kinda disappointed when her bio was posted. She seems like she could end up being boring and pious, but I'm hoping she'll be an interesting character. Caspar: I hate his appearance, but I'm pretty neutral towards his personality. Although if that was him saying "Like a class reunion?" in the E3 trailer then I'm not sure I'll be able to put up with his Hayato 2.0 voice. I do like his Japanese voice though. Leonie: She seems okay, but I hope she isn't too much like Sully with the whole "I can outshine any man on the battlefield" thing. Dedue: Neutral Dimitri: I expect that he'll be an interesting character and I'm interested in seeing what it is that makes him snap, but right now he's not really doing it for me. Felix: I hope there's more to him than just being the edgy myrmidon. Mercedes: Not a fan of her English voice, I'm neutral on her otherwise. Annette: Neutral Ignatz: That design is awful, and unlike Lorenz I don't see it improving much after the timeskip, though I could be wrong. There's nothing interesting about him from what I've seen so far, I hope he isn't just gonna talk about art all the time. E Tier: Ashe: I don't know why but Ashe just has a really punchable face to me for some reason xD. I think it's the freckles, but I just really hate his design. His backstory seems mildly interesting, but aside from that, his character seems kinda bland. Edelgard: I like the fact that she's ruthless as opposed to being a damsel in distress, but she just isn't likeable to me. She's probably the character that has received the most focus and yet I still don't feel like I know her or care about her. Definitely the least interesting of the three lords. Bernadetta: Not a fan of extremely shy characters. Sylvain: I was hoping I'd like him but his Twitter bio made him seem like a huge asshole, so it's a no from me. Lysithea: I hate Cordelia and I'm not a fan of Ricken or Hayato so I'm not holding out much hope for her character. Also she seems kinda rude or something.

For Fates I would completely remove Valla from the story and have it simply be Nohr vs Hoshido without any 3rd nation to complicate matters. I would remove Corrin from the story and have Azura as the protagonist, but have her take their place as a Hoshidan princess kidnapped by the Nohrians. As a singer she would provide more of a supportive role on the battlefield, while Xander or Ryoma would lead the army depending on which side you choose and play a greater role in the story. She would be a lot more assertive while still remaining suspicious of others, and she and the other Hoshidan royals would be the biological children of Mikoto and Sumeragi. Iago would still be scheming but a lot more subtly and Garon would be stern but kind at times as he was during Xander's youth (in other words; not a slime monster). Both Nohr and Hoshido would have legitimate reasons for fighting against one another and these would be explored throughout the game. There would be no right or wrong side - both are equally justified and responsible for the conflict. We would be given a much greater insight into the conditions of both countries (like that chapter in Birthright where you fight Shura and meet with Elise) and the Hoshidan royals would receive a lot more character development. I would also remove Lilith and the Astral Realm or whatever that was called, as well as the 2nd generation.

I was honestly surprised that they pronounced Leicester right ngl, in fact I'm pretty sure they pronounced Leicester and Gloucester right in Japanese too. I hope we get some more profiles for the Knights too, I'd like to get to know more about life outside of the academy.

I feel your pain, I guarantee you they'll pronounce it wrong tho xD I can't wait for them to remake FE4 and butcher the pronounciation of all the names lol

I haven't played that many games but Fates Revelation by a mile. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed by a video game. I thought it was gonna answer all the questions I had from playing the other two routes but instead all of that was locked behind (more) DLC. Once everyone went to Valla there was nothing at all interesting about the story and everything just felt like filler, and that final cutscene makes me cringe every time.

- Nah and Kjelle are the worst characters in the 3DS games - Chrom is a decent character and by far the most interesting of the 3DS lords - Shadows of Valentia's story is overrated and it has a lot of Fates-worthy moments (like Alm preventing the apocalypse with a lucky charm that Celica happened to give him and Conrad showing up every 5 minutes out of nowhere to save Celica) but people don't notice it as much because of the presentation and full voice acting - People wouldn't care about Berkut half as much if he wasn't voiced by Ian Sinclair
