  1. It's not that you are underleveled in this mode, but rather it's the enemies that are far higher level than usual. However, their stats doesn't actually match with the level scale, and with the bigger level gap, you basically level up almost at the same rate as in lower difficulty. The main purpose is to essentially prevent exp grinding and making your units overlevelled.
  2. I think you get increased chance of gaining charm based on how well you did the tea time. Worth mentionning that giving a tea that the character like also contribute to it (and might even give a guaranteed +1 charm if you got a 4/4 perfect tea time on top of it, but I haven't tested it enough to be sure)
  3. Thunder and dark magic have below average accuracy, so that's just those two units. (and lysithea?).
  4. Does anyone know if Alois & Shamir auto-join you post-timeskip if you haven't recruited them yet? I know Hanneman & Manuella can potentially leave garegg march, but what about the knights of seiros?
  5. That's definitely the case. I pretty much expected it, though : on chapter 8 hard, you barely have time to save all villagers without the stride/warp cheese strat. It wouldn't be fair if they had the same stats in maddening.
  6. Does the Resonant White Magic gambit use the same formula as other gambits? I can't help but find it very underwhelming on most characters (and outright useless on Flayn & Mercedes who learn Fortify which is superior in every way)
  7. Sorry to ask again, but can anyone confirm if enemy miracle abilities are guaranted to proc, unlike the player?
  8. I've heard certain RNG-based abilities have higher trigger rate (if not outright guaranteed to activate) when used by the enemies, such as miracle, pavise & aegis. Can anyone confirm?
  9. In part 1, during the 2nd mock battle, I spotted an enemy Leonie (Blue Lion route, BTW) with a Knightkneeler combat art. I didn't gave her a chance to use it, and I never saw anymore art users ever since (currently chapter 16)
  10. I'd say go for Blue Lion : it is the most classic, story-wise, and is pretty much on the complete opposite spectrum of the Black eagle. So it makes for interesting comparisons.
  11. accuracy between 30% and 50% seems to land more frequently than expected, so I'm assuming this is the same hybrid system as the 2 previous FE games. I doubt they will change it anytime soon if that's the case, as it no longuer make axe users the common worst option.
  12. Another thing about which I'm not sure if it's a glitch : while it seems that the worst level ups in this game cannot be less than 2 stats up, rarely some characters may get only 1 stat up or even NONE. So far, it only happened with pre-promotes characters, so it might be intentional, but I can't remember any FE games that had this no-stat-increase-stuff ever happening.
  13. This one might not be a glitch. I think it's just something that was they forgot to mention during the pre-release infos. (but then again Byleth's personal master class can use both, so who knows?)
  14. Considering how hard it is to get one of those poison weapons or skills legitimately (require rare material or beat the Death Knight), it's safe to assume it's mostly intended for the enemy to use them.
  15. extra skills + modified AI behavior is already a good start! I do hope it will also feature more enemy units on the map, replaced early units into superior classes, and probably higher weapon proficiency skills + max level batalions. Maybe also further limit the grinding and Divine pulse usage... As for inferno, while it's too early to tell as it's clearly unfinished, maybe it will have a unique quirk of making both enemy and player to have maxed out level and stats (kinda like Heroes which expect you to optimize everything in order to even stand a chance in inferno/abyssal difficulty).
  16. It's not that bad : you can unequip it anytime to reduce the weight without spending an action, and then equip it back if you face an enemy who will double you regardless.
  17. Seems the main appeal are the stats bonus they provide, plus their high endurance. I've only maxed out one of them so far : Dedue's batalion, and it gives a +10 protection & +8 attack, which is quite insane. (comes with a major evasion penalty, though)
  18. If you don't meet the highest possible support rank between 2 characters pre-timeskip (usually B or B+), then you won't be able to gain any more support for them for the rest of the play through. While I do understand the frustration, the fact that it allows conversations to mostly stay relevant and connected to current period makes me prefer it to any other previous support system.
  19. Seems like each paralogue also unlock unique rank B battalions related to the involved students : so far I got one for Sylvain, Dedue, Felix, Ashes and Ingrid. Dunno if there's any condition tied to it.
  20. Ah, so it wasn't just me. They never told us about this, did they? But I guess it doesn't matter too much : gauntlet have such low might that most mages would struggle to pierce most enemy's defense.
  21. So far, my only issue is how slow it feels (and playing mostly on handheld mode doesn't help the framerate) : makes me wonder if the 2 games on gamecube/wii was like that too, since I've only played on the GBA & 3DS. Speaking of which, I also already miss the convenience of dual screen, and I'm a bit concerned that I cannot check enemy details anymore (their abilities, specifically, unless I missed something?). EDIT: I eventually I figured it out
  22. but based on her Heroes version, she seems more like a total misanthrope.
  23. Is the nbr of use showned what you get upon learning the spell, or does it automatically scale with your level? (leveling up apparently increase the nbr of use) Also, are you sure Agnea’s Arrow doesn't have an extra effect? Seems odd that it's overall inferior to Ragnarok despite being higher rank.
  24. Wait, so magic have weight (despite being spells & not tomes), and use strength to lower it? Sounds weird and potentially harmful for pure mage characters who typically lack in that stat.
  25. I noticed that the nbr of spells learned per characters is consistent with their respective skill strength/weakness for the most part, which is great news! In Echoes: SoV, guessing which characters were a good fit for magic-based classes was annoying. There are some oddities, though, especially for faith spells (Edelgard & claude learn 4 faith spells despite their weakness at it)
