I'm disappointed as well. We probably just got a pay-to-win game. They didn't even give us a release date. The fact that they don't know what fans want is disgusting. Saying "big project" implies a main series game... 😡

Yeah, Sinnoh remakes are highly requested. However, knowing GameFreak and the Pokemon Company we're going to get Let's Go Johto...😒

I hope you're right! Phoenix Wright is one of my Most-Wanted fighters for smash. You brought up some good points about being unique (moveset wise) and legacy, as well as the potential marketability of the character.

That would be an interesting mechanic to set her apart from the rest.

In terms of the ARMS developer choosing Min Min, I feel that he chose her because she won the Party Crash Bash (or whatever it was called). I've heard that the developers really like Ninjara, but they did not pick him. Maybe the Arms developer used the survey as a decider for smash?

This makes me so happy to see. Celica is one of my most wanted characters for smash! Just imagine all the SoV music she could bring... 😳

I'm pretty sure Sakurai has said that he really likes Elma. So maybe if Nintendo just told him "Add a Xenoade rep." he would pick her. I would be down for Rex or Elma! 🤞

I have been troubled by this as well, however, I do not think it will be Springman. It will feel weird if anyone gets in besides Springman since we are used to having the main character get in first. I don't think it will be Springman for two reasons. One is because he is an assist trophy, and I don't believe they will be promoted (I hope I'm wrong because I want Isaac). The other reason is because Springman is the "obvious" candidate. Why would they go through all the trouble of only telling us the series, if it was just Springman? I think Springman will only get in, if part of a group of four fighters (Hero situation), which I do not think will happen. (I also don't want it to happen.)

Right. The way the Arms character was announced was so stupid and it lacked the hype that was needed after many fans (I'm not one of them) were disappointed by Byleth.

I'm personally hoping for Min Min, Twintelle, Ribbon Girl, and Ninjara. I think Min Min and Twintelle would be the best crowd-pleasers.
