  1. On https://serenesforest.net/three-houses/characters/budding-talents/ Ashe is listed as getting Shatter Smash when the ability is Shatter Slash
  2. Fiendish Blow is an Ability not a Skill. Skills are the sword, lance, axe, etc. that rank up from E to S+.
  3. I differed slightly on this. 1. For Goals I had them on whatever they will need to get their desired classes. Though casters that aren't going Gremory will not switch into riding until they have unlocked a few spells from the opposite school of magic. On first playthrough, there is no need to set Authority as a Goal, while also instructing, as doing so will raise the skill faster then you will get higher rank battalions to equip. -Note: there are 3 different Battalions that have stride E,D,B. The E version has bad stats so it is best to get a higher rank one. The B rank one has the best overall stats if avoid is a primary concern. 2. I focused Byleth's training on 1. Authority 2. Heavy Armor (C) / Weight -3 3. Axe (C) / Brigand Class - Death Blow 4. Preferred Weapon This was to maximize the ability to instruct with the +2 Professor Expertise. 3. For Instructing it is much the same. Focus first on Authority whenever I have Expertise, followed by Heavy Armor and Axe to get C for getting those 2 abilities on those that want/need them. Then fallback on whatever the unit needs preferring anything that has expertise.
  4. As a UI programmer, the first thing I do in any game is study all the interfaces and press all the buttons to see what I have to work with. That said, I have had nothing that I felt like I learned too late. Also in reading this thread, I have become rather depressed as over half of the issues involve not knowing about something that has a permanent on screen prompt telling you about it. Why are so many people ignoring all the UI that is trying to help them.
  5. Not only does the Adjunct gain support with the unit they are attached to whenever that unit does something, they also gain support with any other unit that has a support connection with their attached unit. ie: If an Adjunct is attached to a bow knight, then whenever that bow knight triggers hearts with another unit, the adjunct also gets hearts with that unit. That being said, it is hard to say if the support gained is of the same amount as we don't know how support numbers work under-the-hood.
  6. The main point of Adjuncts is to allow you to level up and train reserve units. This way, if a unit dies, you are not having to field an under-leveled replacement in future battles. For the most part, I ignore the type(attack, defense, healer) and just focus on who I want my reserve unit to be focusing on for support growth.
  7. Also remember that the base Avoid formula is the same as Attack Speed, so each bit of weight of those shields is also bringing down your avoid. So is +4 Protection worth it considering you are also getting -4 Attack Speed and -4 Avoid?
