  1. Just get to the point where all your units are mounted fliers as a Wyvern Lord, Falcon Knight, or the Dark Flier for the magic users who can't be bothered, then just warp teleport to your objective to win. My Byleth was already clearing maps w/ 1 teleport by the time I hit post time skip and by then I would say the town stuff is optional. Otherwise, I would just say to skip the life sims stuff and to simply spend the first week to plant shit+get freebies before moving onto the next month. With a bit of luck and planning, I think I cleared the game in 10-12 hrs give or take just spending my time in the first half to prep before stepping onto the gas for the 2nd half when the benefits are less apparent.
  2. Which is basically relying on Rhea to come off as a bit of a dick just to get this to happen. But still feels weird when in Church route, they just up and joined cuz of professor. As for BL, I was referring to how little input the cast has outside of tiny bits of the story such as the one you mentioned. Hell, it sort of feels like the other students are more like side characters only involved to either say something key to their characterization or to agree to the lord and the protagonist. I was looking for a bit more agency in the cast.
  3. I found them to be average and could have been better.
  4. Also doesn't help that she is ignorant and just as bad as others without the help of the people around her, whom she just refuses to talk with. Her beliefs, although flawed and filled with more violence, can be fixed and led down a better path, but nope! They agree with her because of x reason and simply blindly follow her just like the other characters do on their own routes. It's like the only reason these students give a damn about their house leader is because of their professor. Just wish we got the characters involved in picking apart her beliefs so that she can realistically accomplish them.
  5. A failed prediction was that Dimitri and Edelgard would be this Romeo and Juliet couple according to the dance trailer, only to be proven wrong and we just got baited. There was also the prediction that TWSiTD would be a big threat, but oops, we mostly kill them off screen or kick down their front door in VW. It was like they decided to use Team Rocket as our baddies, but then decided that Meowth was too op and nerfed them past Oblivion. There were some Reddit prediction about TH having more waifu mechanics, but that was tossed aside for item fetching, gift giving, and heal tile camping supports. Also, my friends thought F! Byleth would get a glow up with the time skip, but nope, still the same Spacey protagonist.
  6. It can be seen when you play the game it is the same person. Besides they look the same just like Tomas and Solon. Nemesis isn't really their leader and more like their pawn. That is my fault. Forgot he was more like a puppet leader.
  7. Losing their waifu and husbando to another is a tragic experience. They are just experiencing the sadness that comes with it.
  8. When will we get a DLC story line about a group of drug dealing merchants selling their wares across borders during this war? When the dust settles, they find their population hopelessly addicted to Speed Carrots and it results in the ban of stat boosting consumables.
  9. The life and story of Ignatz. Just him eating and painting with his best bud before they get killed because Byleth didn't recruit them on the other routes.
  10. Children are based on mothers. The stats are determined by the father. The parents determine what the kid will get in terms of abilities and etc based on rng. This will make it so people will soft reset like in Pokemon. Babies can be made pre-time skip because teenagers never use the condom. This can mean that if you raise the supports for strange kids like Edelgard x Dimitri or whatever, you get weird interactions. Like a kid killing their mom and they be like "Mom, you got replaced by Teach."
  11. They also didn't answer the question of whether or not Daenerys and Jon will have babies. They clearly could have had a different ending.
  12. Tier 1: Girls Tier 2: Boys Tier 3: Adults Tier 4: Random Adjundants.
  13. How about FE with a father/daughter duo as the protagonists? Play as the male(dad) or the female(daughter). Two completely different storylines for the same routes through the eyes of the father and the daughter. Have the story be less anime and more Roman Empire. Father comes home after serving time in the army. He was recently awarded for his efforts by his general. Now he is able to own a small plot of land with his wife whom he married a bit too early and his daughter at home, he intends to stay at home and become a politician. When the city comes into view, it is in flames. He rushes towards the horizon and to the cliff edge and finds a burned down empire and the marble statue of his emperor is being toppled. Running into the ruined city he finds the corpse of his wife defiled in the home of his parents and his daughter hiding somewhere nearby. Taking her into his arms, he runs out of the city avoiding the pillagers. Fast forward a few years and his daughter is now a young girl. She is currently learning how to survive as a migrant and a temporary worker on farms. She wonders and comes upon her father's sword. She is fascinated and desires to learn how to use it. Years go by as they travel and work on farms or doing other work in the countryside. Now a young woman, the father addresses his daughter and tells her of what had happened and what will happen next. He has become the leader of the rebels, hoping to seize the capital and take back their homeland from the invading immigrants. He wishes to put the old emperor back on the throne including the original royal bloodline. He sees the new emperor as nothing more than a puppet to a foreign state and the importation of new state religion to be a way of controlling the people. He advises his daughter that she does not need to participate, rather he would prefer her to stay away from harm's way. She understands his desire to protect her and it is arranged that she will stay in a village they worked in and live with a family whom they served. The village has a small school in which she will attend and teach as a job. The story splits here where if you are the father, you go off to war once again and participate is a large scale, FE storyline. If you chose the daughter, your fight will be more local and personal. While the father fights to preserve the empire and drive away those his rebel army feels to be a threat to their shared existence and culture, the daughter fights to protect those in her community and learns of the struggle of the commoner who may not care so much about who collects their taxes or who they have to worship. He learns that even if he were to close the borders and re-establish the old monarch and spread the message of a unified nationality, he cannot stop the migration in or out of the country. The people cannot be controlled. She learns of the truth that her father never taught her as well as the commonality between all people. Then a giant motherfucking dragon comes in as a final boss.
  14. People were thinking Dimitri and Edelgard were gonna be an item due to a dance trailer, but turns out it was with random NPCs. Since we know who they are and from playing the game. It sort of feels like implied incest that just wasn't added to the game.
