Every game that had it until three houses. Defiant str is worthless in Fire emblem heroes and it's worthless in three houses. Also, growth rates wise it's pointless when there is swordmaster, assassin class. Which is a shame as hero class is usually my 2nd favorite class behind swordmaster.

I hate Edelgard. Her values are something I will never agree or condone whether as a human being or as a ruler. But I'll leave it at that. I dislike Dimitri as well. Only Byleth and Claude get a pass with Claude passing with flying colors. Claude is someone whom I respect a great deal. Politics wise I'm a liberal. I have a very hard time imagining someone from my side of the spectrum liking Edelgard. Her tragedy doesn't make her cause just or right for that matter. But that's just my opinion.

Byleth as a lady fits the story more imo. Especially if you seen SS final cutscene. It's jarring with Byleth as a man. Also, lady Byleth better expresses emotions in part 2 than lord Byleth. As in all routes, Byleth becomes more and more expressive over time and lady Byleth best shows that progression. That what I feel anyways.

My idea is similar to what has already been said: No Golden route. Though I liked Fates and the three routes it had, I thought Revelations significantly undermined the other two. That and judging by this thread alone, a Golden route can only be a recipe for disaster. Let's not make TH a bigger mess than it already is. Personally, I would much rather have a 5th route not a side story. One where Byleth decides to part with Jeralt and strikes out on their own as a free roaming mercenary rather than going along to Garrech mach. Much more potential there. Would love to see how the story changes with Byleth never becoming a professor.
