  1. Ever since amiibo were announced, I've been wondering how one could incorporate them into Pokémon games. One idea I've had is the amiibo Leader: a class of Trainer based on various Nintendo characters. Of course, they can all be battled without the use of any amiibo after completing the main story, but if you go to the League, scan an amiibo (allowing you to battle a specific Trainer whenever you want, regardless of in-game progress), and win a themed battle, you'll earn some bonus cosmetics pertaining to that character in addition to the normal badges and prize money. The Teams:
  2. I doubt it will. This kind of thing happens all the time.
  3. Shadows of Valentia. I had to constantly keep using the most powerful spells and illusories and then spam heal my units, only 4 of whom were in any shape to fight by the time I got to Duma: Alm, Celica, Silque, and Kliff. I don't think a single boss has left me so exhausted. I really wish I was aware of Celica's route softlocking at the Tower, so I could've grinded them a bit more. Cynthia in the original Pokémon Diamond too, but I was just a kid who went in a tad underleveled and I don't even remember what happened. But with Brilliant Diamond, I'm going to make sure things are different. I will sweep the floor: Garchomp and all! I've grown up these past 15 years since we battled last.
  4. I think what most people like about Ike immediately is that he's one of the more relatable protagonists in the series. He's the first Lord to not to have a royal bloodline, which makes the fact that he can hold his own with the rest of them all the more impressive, because he is a strong, straightforward, determined, open-minded, ripped dude who wields a two-handed sword like it's nothing who accomplishes all of the things he does because he and his friends fight for a better world free of corrupt usurpers, evil gods, and racism. We also get to see him grow in both Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, so he gets that extra bit of character development. He even got into Smash Bros., which says a lot in and of itself. "I fight for my friends?" anyone? "You'll get no sympathy from me." Bonus: "I like Ike" was already part of the American zeitgeist that brings upon nostalgia of a simpler time in the political climate. It's really fun to say too.
  5. Here comes Frederick's squad! Everyone loses to Frederick.
  6. Call it pure fantasy, but my ideal version would be that Kirby stands alone on edge, then suddenly, "Divine Bloodlines (Remix)" kicks in and he turns to see Richter Belmont and everyone else who wasn't in the opening cutscene*, who says, "Don't worry. Leave the rest to us." The group led by Kirby then travels through a mix of worlds, gameplay styles and puzzles to rescue their allies one destroyed puppet/monster at a time, all while looking really cool. *That would be these guys. 👇
  7. From a narrative perspective I feel like Fernand goes through a similar thing when he betrays the Deliverance. Hardin also kind of fits into this category, but not truly since he leaves in between games.
  8. With Mercedes in the game, I think this one is a shoo-in. Easy 10/10
  9. I tried it and got Error Code 026-6561. I think it has to be done on a Japanese system. "A09GHQ3D32DTEGEK" Curse you, region locking! Got one of those fancy Super Mario Kart NEW 3DS XLs too, but I doubt it'll work there either.
  10. I am a staunch believer in equality and for every sexy woman, I wanna see enough sexy men and strong women until it's no longer a problem (Give those men a taste of their own medicine!); just so long as they're SFW of course. But in all serious, women do need to be objectified less in that way regardless, balanced or not, because in the end, over-objectification of one sex makes everyone look bad. "Eyes up here." Know what I mean?. I've slowly come to accept some sexuality. It just needs to have a point of counter, and not be particularly disgusting.
  11. There are also meals. This likely means faster supports. Nice! Mercedes's new hair is so beautiful. I want it.
  12. - FE2/15: All the Villager children alongside Conrad - FE4: Sigurd, Julius & Ishtar - FE5: Leif, Altena & Arion - FE6: Roy, Wolt, Sue, Fir, Raigh & Lugh - FE7: Lyn, Eliwood, Hector, Canas, Braimmond - FE13: Emmeryn & Chrom, Lissa, Cleric Cherche, Lon'qu, Panne - FE14: Loving Parents Garon and Arete, Leo, Hinoka, Saizo & Kaze - FE16: Dimitri & Edelgard, Claude, Felix, Petra, Lysithea
  13. Correct. And because of that, everyone just stops thinking about it. No one really knows what the Relic is made of, how it was crafted, or what its very structure may be. Until we know those things and truly understand the power and the danger Relics hold... We won't be able to...gain any new knowledge. I'm tired of talking.
  14. I will admit, I laughed at first, but the more I thought about it, I've kind of warmed up to it. As for Pokémon, Exeggcute line Hisuan Voltorb line Seedot line Phantump line Rillaboom Okay, 10 might not seem like that big of a number, but with a new generation comes new Pokémon, which I'm sure would help a lot to legitimize it. At the very least, it'd be a good excuse for Chainsaw Rotom to be a thing.
  15. Lysithea is an easy 10/10 for me in both categories. This knowledgeable, adorable, little bringer of sweets and dark magic destruction has absolutely everything going for her, and I'm all for it. Plot relevance: ✓ Compelling character: ✓ Crest/Signature Weapon: ✓✓ Popularity: Check and mate! ✓✓✓
  16. I feel like not having Perne here is a massively missed opportunity. You can't just tease a character in someone's 5* Lv. 40 quote, especially one like Pirate Lifis's, and not have them sooner or later. I don't know anything about him, but I really wanna see that Forging Bonds conversation chain. Salem's nice though. Finally, the series's first playable dark mage...and all the more reason to have Perne in this banner.
  17. The Blue Lions need their designated archer. I will admit, he's not really that important in the grand scheme of the lore, with not even having a Crest and all, but he did make it in Ashen Wolves, and is my pick for best boy in the entire game. 8/10 10/10 want
  18. I'm fine with all the skills from the last game returning except Vengeance and Counter because I don't believe in HP draining or blocking (but that's just me being subjective). Since basically all named characters in Three Houses all have Personal Skills, and a surprisingly large number of them fit the Warriors Skills. Another thing I hope for is that they figure out the Live to Serve/Iote's Shield dilemma where they're basically useless on some units. I don't know the mechanics, so I don't really feel qualified to pick out the skills.
  19. I just realized something. FE Warriors had 23 characters in the base game. There are 24 students in the base game of Three Houses. The Warriors DLC added 9 characters, adding up to a total of 32. 32 - 24 = 8. Subtract another 4 for the Ashen Wolves, and that still leaves room for Byleth, Seteth, Flayn, and Anna. And don't sequels almost always have bigger roster sizes than the original? What I'm trying to say is that it could be a very real possibility that... (Almost)
  20. I called Maria, Delthea, and Luthier! The girls are both so adorable! Delthea follows the trend set by Spring Lucina, Est, and Myrrh. And I am all here for it! However, I would sleep with one eye open every night for the next month if I were Sonya...Speaking of which, what is up with the lighting on Tharja's hair? It's almost unrecognizable.
  21. There's this one I downloaded off Steam called Planet Zoo. I had anticipated it forever, and I still love it, I'm just pretty bad at it.
