  1. Comparing Meg to Wendy is absolutely ridiculous, let alone in a game like FE6 where hitrates are awful as they are, and she joins way underleveled and literally a chapter before Axe Fest Saga begins. She gets murdered, at least Meg has some degree of durability, and gets out of doubled territory as easy as 1 Spd level (even in HM). She has 7-8 chapters before Part 1 ends, and that's a lot more other characters can say. I always felt confident I could build a really good Meg in HM with solid turncount and take her to 3rd tier before Part 4 begins. I can't say any of that for Fiona, let alone freaking Wendyknight.
  2. Well, I didn't, and I still can't. I'm sure you didn't go through the hell that is 1E HM only for the game to kick you in the balls like that. good times
  3. Fiona borders on unsable, every map of her team hates her and doesn't have like 7-8 extra maps to work on herself. Hell, my disc can't even read her promotion... if that doesn't scream "unusable", I don't know what does. I always found people overexaggerated her "mobility problems" (just Armours in general) and her supposedly bad Str/Def, which start out pretty solid bases that carry her decently. Even her 22 Spd doesn't start kicking her until 3-12, which is only one out of her 3 Part 3 maps.
  4. yeh I also really like Dead Space, but I only played about two chapters at best. Didn't know if it'd be considered a "Horror" game, so I didn't list it. I will beat it, someday. That's what I like about RE7 & 8, they feel like Horror games (if they weren't). I also like the setting a lot better.
  5. Ultimate didn't eat this thread yet? 9[
  6. I can't say I played a ton of them, but I've done my fair share of Horror games. I've beaten all the Outlast games, SOMA, Lust For Darkness, Close to the Sun (feels like a Horror game to me) and played a couple of others (but haven't beaten), such as Those Who Remain, Alien and Slender: The Arrival. I'm not so much into stuff like Resident Evil (I am interested in 7 & 8, though), since apparently I've been told Survival Horror is my alley. My favourite Horror games are Outlast and SOMA. Both really good experiences, and not just for the atmosphere, but also because they have really engaging plots, once you dig them up. I also really enjoyed Close to the Sun, even though it's not as hardcore as the others. It can easily be anyone's first "Horror" game experience. And no, I didn't really play the Amnesia games, but I do know the first one is constantly mentioned by Horror fans. I don't like when people try to downplay or discredit Horror games when they're supposedly "not scary", and it's usually by people who don't immerse into the full experience, playing at 2pm with 5 of their friends while making unfunny jokes and failing to grasp the point.
  7. Kakashi at the start of Naruto might seem like a sort of Jeigan, but as you go through the series (especially Shippuden), he actually starts growing stronger along with his students. You'd think a guy like that would have been outclassed by the end of Part 1, but he's always holding up among some of the strongest up there, and even surpassing Naruto and Sasuke (however briefly) at times. Kakashi is pretty cool, and doesn't afraid of anything.
  8. Great, but with some aspects that could be worked on, like any person. You could say you have a business or something that doesn't necessarily imply you have a lot of money. There are businesses that barely get by. Or you could be a musician but having money is not garanteed. That's lowkey more entertaining than something I'd normally see on television. wuuuuuuttt No, that's lame. I could careless what a chick does or has, granted, it's not STDs. What am I onto.
  9. If I'm rich, I wouldn't tell women that I have money. I want them to like me for me, and not for all the toys I have. I don't know why there's guys with so little self respect they deliberately tell women they have money so they can hook up with them. Watch the 1987 movie "Coming to America", by Eddie Murphy. He's literally the prince of a whole nation, and he goes to New York to find a woman to marry, while pretending he's poor. And he gets her.
  10. i held hands with a girl at school and we were escaping from zombies or something her hand felt really nice
  11. I just think it's a funny joke from the gawds.
  12. It feels kind of obvious to say Gatrie is at least significantly better. Even if he can't use BEXP as well, he still ramps up Str, Spd & Def really quickly and makes amazing use of the Crown right off the bat. I always felt people exaggerated his mobility, and it's 1 mov behind others... he's still one hell of a jauggernaut. Soren can match his offense once he gets going, but they'll both 1RKO. Soren is made out of paper and strictly relies on something like Resolve+Ike to reliably dodge stuff. I do think Soren can be really good (one of the better mages), it's just Gatrie requires a lot less work and doesn't even need supports.
  13. Took years but someone finally gets it. Today is a good day.
  14. It's not INCEL because I never complained or wondered or felt entitled to sex. This is just genuine curiousity, and I could be asexual and still wonder the same thing. But gay men and women do have something in common, and it's that they both like men.
  15. When you think about it, men and women are so different. You can't expect them to understand each other, and there's always conflict based on misunderstandings. The fact that there exists literal manuals having to teach you about one another is as silly as it gets... and it makes you wonder, nature dropped the ball, didn't it? Do you think men and women would even interact, if not for having sex?
  16. For about a week or so, I've been having a strange sensation in my body. I have some trouble breathing, like I need to breathe deeper for the air to reach, I have some lightheadedness, like I just want to lay down a bit. This all started after an episode I had, which I felt really bad, like I was just going to pass out one day. That day, I felt a lot worse and it just happened really out of the blue. Yes, I know anyone here's not a doctor, but I'd at least appreciate some brief ideas to get an idea what's wrong with me and how this even started. I could go into some more detail, if you need to know.
  17. Oh no, I'd actually say that I actually managed to enjoy For Glory decently overall. Ruleset wasn't perfect, and there's always bad players, but it still felt really doable, and like those janky stuff didn't really happen nearly as much as Ultimate's online. Did I lose to bad players? Yeah, like once in a while, but that's about it. I even withstood the silly nametagging messaging system players used, and they could talk shit using that. I've won one tournament in 2016, and a guy asked me how I practiced, and I unironically told him I just played For Glory a lot. Wish I could've said the same about Quickplay in helping me improve, but it only made me more annoyed... Then you're definitely smarter than me, and you made the right call. Marth can definitely be played "mashy", since he has the framedata for it. His only real issue is trouble killing if you can't land tippers.
  18. I feel I was too harsh in saying all it gave me was misery. I can at least thank wifi for giving me the opportunity to get so many awesome clips, and it's literally the only thing it's "good" for.
  19. I fixed my Joycon drift in a number of ocassions, and still use my 3 year old Joycons since the game came out. If anything, the wear might've made them feel more fluid. Just spray an electric contact cleaner under the rubber of the stick, and and then wiggle it in circles for around 20 seconds.
  20. I disagree. I know my way around a lot of these characters, even if they're overly aggressive and "mashy". The problem isn't these characters themselves, but it's how much you can get away with being bad online. If anything, dealing with these sort of characters (even online) isn't too bad. It's the defensive and campy ones who can throw out projectiles on your shield and still get away by rolling for the 20th time even if you know perfectly well it's coming. This only really feels like a concern on Ultimate's wifi, because stuff like that was still pretty doable on For Glory. For Glory wasn't the best, but it genuinely helped me practice to an extent, even against worse players. That sounds awful... and still less worse than online. Do Training Mode, at least. It does sound like that, but then it's not like people have to agree or go with what I say. They're free to choose. I just know people that keep playing in spite of how awful it is, and they know that, but it's like they keep going because it's "better than nothing". yeh he definitely gets away with random smash attacks on wifi. You can still be good with him, and he really has better moves than that. And I don't know what you mean about "joycon lag", because I've played offline pretty consistently, and the issue was never that. It could just easily be lag coming from wifi. Well, that doesn't seem to bad (doubles). Good stuff. Oh, yeah- GSP is the biggest lie ever when it comes to deciding "skill". I've played a Pyra player literally did 90% Side B the entire match, as well as Samus players who play the exact same cookie cutter Charge Shot roll spam and grab when they're by the ledge. This is in Elite Smash. The actual good players are either not there, or very few in between. Thank you, I appreciate that. See, someone that doesn't know how these games work, from the outside, it wouldn't make any sense to them. The logical rule is "better player > win", but wifi really is that fucked up. What does that even mean. Do you, like, sit still and randomly FSmash or something?
