  1. duuudeee thank youu soo muchh cant believe its been 2 years. I think it's time to replay this mod again. Hope this mod doesnt have any game-breaking problems thank you for your work
  2. Not that I know of, Im currently on Eirika chapter 15 and no problems, probably because I always put Eirika on 1st slot before advancing the story Havent played Eprahim route though so I dont know too thats the problem, try download the newest version
  3. Been there. make sure your slot 1 character IS Eirika, other than her it will be glitched. If you dont know, on preparation screen on unit select, from top left is slot 1. To make Eirika on slot 1 again just go to valni tower, cancel all of your current roster, and when 0/8 your first pick should be Eirika, that will make her into slot 1 If the problem still persist, make sure slot 1 Eirika and slot 2 up to slot 6 are unpromoted units
  4. just like other said, summoned phantom unit cannot attack because it always gets silver axe and D axe mastery upon arrival. But it works fine on lvl 20 summoner, the phantom can attack because its mastery of axe not D but C And I found a minor glitch, trickster's critical animation with bow is messed up, resulting in foe's health become distorted after attack animation is over. but thats it, only messing up the visual, it doesnt affect the actual numbers oh yea: Bargain skill and silver card does not stack. I think Trickster needs a new skill to replace bargain, it is basically a redundant skill Another bug, its not a problem but Assassins will retain Cunning skill from thief class even though they dont have one. My Marisa is Assassin and she can use lockpick without a hitch. I bet Assassin class is already hardcoded as a Thief based class
  5. is there any hints how to edit summon item with FEBuilder? Im baffled that I cant use summon unit unless it hits level 20
  6. quick question: Anyone has tried delta attack with arbalest? If im not mistaken, it still works but the animation is glitchy for the arbalest unit, kinda like "missingno" pokemon
  7. man this is great, last time I was here is like 2-3 months ago now this patch is crazier than before, definitely gonna re-play it ASAP, tho I have 1 question: how's the character's palette? I remember that custom unit has trickier palette, I remember when I was tinkering with arbalest and dread fighter, when I use the default character's palette they went crazy, so you have to manually recolor the palette yourself but really, this is awesometacular thank you

  9. yeah I think you should focus on the lagdou ruin 1st before everything else but, Im glad you are still working on this patch. stay healthy and dont forget to wash your hand. good luck
  10. I think i've found what trigger the problem. These are the points ive noticed so far: 1. Did you buy something from the secret shop? because I think all of us did buy from secret shop. 2. Ive checked numerous times, yes sometimes when you in and out secret shop, this problem appears out of nowhere (it is a very rare case, like 1 out of 100, I only experienced it once and never again). But now I am sure that, after you bought something (and straight to the convoy for me) from secret shop, you will get this error. 3. further more I am positive that it affects the entire ROM because as soon as I bought an item, then I load state it, the problem still persist. It will fixed itself after you end your turn or reset the emulator and resume the gameplay here's the video. I just manually recorded it without compressing. thus the rar file rennac2.rar
  11. since its my fault then I would like to clarify for everyone else: The change I did IS NOT in anyway an official change from the creator. I did all that in fully aware and discretion to NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE beside Marisa's related stuffs, which in my defense I did it too in vanilla game, changing her assassin's animation, her color palette, and her stats growth rate. And if you ask why I did all of that for Marisa? SImple coz she's THE BEST girl, her support with Gerik is the best thing that ever happen in sacred stones and probably among of of the best in the series (subjectively speaking of course). I fell in love with Marisa and I want her to be a special character like Seth and Duessel who are the living legend according to the lore. Thus I decide to tinker Marisa a lil bit, and ONLY MARISA. And for the dread fighter, because: 1. Dread fighter's in this patch comes with ponytail. So yeah Its a dead giveaway for me, Cant help it, Must want it 2. I always freaking love dread fighter in fire emblem, I think they are one of the coolest looking and unique class in the series Last thing is, Im one of those people that love to hoard each item at least 1 in the inventory. So I choose completion rather than effectivity, thus I always promote Lute into mage knight, which a less superior magic class compare to sage, coz she and Larachel are the one can access mage knight. And since larachel is always will be valkyrie, Natasha to Bishop. No one can take the role of Mage knight other than Lute. So yes, I am guilty about Marisa's stuff but I WILL NOT questions the balance and the decision of the creator regarding the patch. I am fully support 100% the creator's choice. This is a great patch and much needed to elevate sacred stones as a game. Its like playing different game but with the same character, how cool is that? the answer is: veryyyy coooolll
  12. Natasha, moulder to bishop was glitched, so does with L'arachel to Valkyrie. Artur's bishop is normal though a little bit report, it turns out energy ring doesnt give you more str/mag if one of those stats are maxed out. making hybrid class like mage lord or summoner partially useless. maybe you can change the growth rate for the characters that have access to hybrid class? Or seperate the str and mag raising item? Or gives huge bonus to str/mag to the hybrid class when on promotion? Hybrid class is pretty cool but whats the point using axe or light if your strength or magic below 15? hope you reconsider that aspect. good luck

I just absent for a few days and already a fix thats crazy awesome if its true that this patch can be played without any major problems, then id probably start my Ephraim campaign now thank you alfather 7743 for the fixes and thank you too bløød, and dedesett for quality checking. Man This is an awesome patch EDIT: so healers (trobadour, cleric, priest) promotion screen will always be glitch no matter what right? well as long as it doesnt softlock the game so fine by me and apparently, dread fighter receives unpromoted amount of EXP gain. Its not a problem per se but it is something. I tried to copy-paste the Dread fighter's data to the promoted unit like paladin to fix it, and it does. But, since this problem related to the actual data base Im not pursuing this problem any further. Again its just an EXP gain, which means my Marisa can wreak havoc even more easily And I am sorry I did edit your patch a lil bit. I love Marisa, she's mah gurl and I freaking love dread fighter, what an awesome class. And in this patch the dread fighter's animation comes with ponytail?!! Damn it's a dead giveaway for Marisa in my book and about secret shop in chapter 14 forgot to report to you but is this normal? I did encounter the same problem with the old patch. Or is it just me? I only tinker with Marisa related codes though, I never touch anything else beyond that
  14. so ive been snooping around for this couple of days. I also trying to learn febuilder just because I want to create a custom small campaign in FE8 somedays later (maybe.... probably...some time....) yeah I also noticed that the newest builder offers more problem than the previous one. it makes me think, can you revert back? Only use the str and mag split but with the old skill system? I also notice that the some of the new skills are blank named and you can find it in all extend skill name txt. Im a total noob but I dont think that should happen. sure its registered in the game, but the name it self, when you assign it to the unit, it draws blank And does the new builder offer more maximum custom animation/unit than the old one? If its not, i say revert back is not a bad option.
  15. personally im more into canto+ idea. moving after attack is pretty cool and if it were too OP why not limit it to main characters with special class? like Seth and Duessel, they all both are living legend in the story, adding canto+ to them wont break the game For the creature campaign characters, they all designed to be OP even in vanilla game so why not? and beside we dont have multilink arena right? so there's no need to make all around balanced rosters. a couple OP character here and there wont hurt the experience. furthermore, Lagdou ruin is no joke and I freaking love it. EDIT: I found a minor bug, seems that when you die from ranged attack without animation, the death quote wont trigger thus game over screen doesnt appear and your game will continue but with constant teared windows. I tested with melee off worked just fine. I am currently playing Eirika's with VBA on PC. Again its pretty minor because you WILL reload anyway if one of your character dies, at least for me. here's the SS EDIT: so I just tested again, after I kill the skeleton and die due to ranged attack from boss without animation. surprise, no bug. It worked normally, Eirika dies, she talks and game over. So probably due to consecutive ranged attack off animation? Anyway id say is pretty negligible so thats that
