Yeah, being a Lord in RD is weird, there are many characters that a several points play the role of effective Lord (like Geoffrey, and Tibarn), but this role is only consistenly given all the time to only two characters, they're also the only ones that are always considered the leader (in effects of gameplay at the very least) of their respective armies until 4-F starts.

Edelgard has pretty much the same stat spread as her Legendary self, but the weapons and exclusive skills make the play styles quite different, it's comparable to say... using Chrom vs Seliph, their weapons gives them different niches.

Well at least isn't seem like Edelgard will get more Axe Armor Alts again, all her Canon Alts already exists in Heroes

In the end it was all part of his plan, just to know better how the wicked work, this knowledge works pretty well for both sides of the conflict.

I agree with Lysithea having the Best conversations, I like all of them, but Lysithea really offer the Best overall experience; in comparison Edelgard's feels like it needed extra dialogue because of how Lissa-centric ended up being despite how the concept present itself to make people like Alm, Celica or Micaiah appear; Claude's had very limited interaction in his own (though having villains talking is definitely something quite appealing) and Dimitri's, like everything about him, your enjoyment depends of how much you actually love the man.

I imagine she would be Red in order to have Weakness to Dimitri (this is after all the only Edelgard that Dimitri can actually kill)

To be fair, with Micaiah she doesn't really have a character to take as a potential parental figure besides Yune herself (and the Light Priestess Dress that she is using was bestowed by Yune hersefl), and Micaiah has already options in canon for making new alts, so I can imagine why they decided to go for it, I'm happy to see Light Priestess represented, though one part of me wanted to see something new. Lucina's case is similar to Micaiah (Lucina is already Marth and Chrom themed all the way through, so everything she used would represent Chrom)... but using the same outfit as her Legendary Self is... weird, because as far as I remember, there exists an Exalt Outfit of Lucina.

Yeah, I think Zelgius is the only FE character that looks better with the helmet than without it; it really helps to sell intimidation.

Yeah, I think that is probably because we don't have that many wind candidates; Eliwood, lacking a particular element connection thanks to having Anima Affinity, probably made him the perfect candidate to do an oddball.

Well; we can't deny that indeed happened. I think this is part of the reason why Edelgard's Reddit is like the only character-specific FE Reddit that has activity beyond fan art, (some people ended up abandoning Main Reddit during these times). This where I believe this whole "Edelgard paranoia" (for the lack of a better term) started. In the end, it had a big effect in how discussions about her are started and done until the present day (from both sides. I'm not taking one right now).
