Oooooooo, I always wanted to try Halberdier in this game because it is one of my favorite classes (Love infantry lance) and they finally brought it back!! Excited to finally use one of the fan favorite waifus that I been hearing about everywhere!! Probably one of the characters I was the most sad about not using in my first run so I'm hyped!! I just realized Lindon & Saphir are swapped in classes they normally would go into lol I just imagine a wise lady guru watching over the rest of the team with that Sage cloak design. xD

Fire Emblem Engage PMU Announcement!! What is a PMU? It means Pick My Units!! Yes, you!! We have finally completed Fire Emblem Engage Blind. Now we will do a very fun and silly run, where we play with all the new DLC, play with new units, learn new strategies, wear the One Piece, and more!! We will be doing Maddening Classic Mode (Random Growths) on our second run. Pick a SINGLE unit you would like me to use and the class you want me to train them into!! It can be a unique and new class I never tried before so i can experiment with new classes I didn't get to try in my last run. It can be an experimental class that works in favor with a certain units' stats that can offer them a greater hidden potential. Or even a silly, meme class for funsies!! It's all up to you guys!! If you see most people leaning towards one side, try to balance it out with the other. We want to have a good time after all and not just struggling throughout it all. Last but not least, here are a list of BANNED units in this run. All of the ones here are units who have already been used in my previous run and it's to give opportunity to try out new characters and see more supports and get to know more about the rest of the cast I didn't get to know!! (SPOILER ALERT for Engage units below. If you have not beaten the game and do not want to be spoiled on recruitable units. I started streaming my very first blind for a NEW Fire Emblem game and excited to go on this journey with you all!! I will post every video here that I stream, feel free to discuss the story depending on the part we are in the playthrough or your thoughts on the commentary overall, and my playthrough etc. I will update when I finish the game about my plans for iron mans, challenge runs, and more types of content that we will be doing for the game!! 😁 Look forward to it!! Here is Part 1 of my Fire Emblem: Engage journey. You can see my blind reaction to the story, characters, new gameplay mechanics and pretty much EVERYTHING here, as I stayed away from mostly any kind of news or trailers until the game came out. I didn't know about so many things!! I am absolutely LOVING the game!! You can see me fanboying a lot in the beginning, I am quite excited haha. Enjoy and I look forward to many discussions with you all in the new generation of Fire Emblem on the Switch!! Update: Here is my 2nd stream of the game!! This one ended interesting. I got a bit stuck on Chapter 5 and burned through all of my Time Crystals. When I traveled to the left where the chests were at and broke through the wall, (which seem to be implied to be the recommended path to take) Everyone started charging me in that direction and the units are too hard hitting to tank on Maddening. I decided to just pick up the chest items and then make my way back to the front door and take them on. What caused my reset was that the boss is SUPRISINGLY difficult. He has a hand axe so everyone takes counter damage. You may think, wait, use BREAK (which is a neat mechanic I am finally getting used to and taking advantage of) however, he has a horrifying skill that makes him unbreakable, so you really need to strategize who hits him and who can survive a hit near him, while also dealing with his annoying cavalry next to him who hit hard and have a good movement range. He also is a "backup" type unit, which is Engage's version of dual strikes, so if he is in attack range to one of your units and one of the cavalry attacks, he can make sure his cavalry goons do just enough for them to combine with his strength to take multiple of your units down. ON TOP of all that, you may say, Oh, use Warp Ragnaroc since it doesn't allow counter, and to that, he has a response to. He revives and you have to take him out TWICE like some human version of a demonic beast, or enemy boss unit from freakin Tear-Ring Saga of all things!! That was very surprising to see and caused my first restart because of it. I wasn't prepared. My plan in part 3 (which I am currently streaming now if you want to watch) I decided to prioritize taking down his cavalry posse first and then surrounding and trapping him with my tank-ier units so he doesn't kill Clanne or Etie, etc. Overall, I am not complaining, I am so HAPPY so much strategic depth is put into these maps and enemy units. It makes taking them down so satisfying and makes you think every thing you do, from positioning, to when you Engage, etc. I am getting real Fates Conquest vibes from this and I am beyond excited to play more. This is NOT Three Houses 2, it is not designed around the rewind mechanic, at least from everything I seen so far. No over leveled units with nearly identical maps on harder difficulties, constant ambush spawns, etc. The difficulty comes from the well designed and thought out map design and enemy units. New Fire Emblem looks so fun, I don't care lol. I'm excited to put 1000 hours into it like I did with Three Houses. Graphics actually look super nice, presentation looks beautiful (for console fire emblem standards) and maps look clean fun/colorful. I just want to see all the new characters!!

My thoughts: Direct was amazing overall. Lots of good stuff. Idk if this is the main forum for FE 17 but I will just leave my thoughts here I guess. Game actually got me hyped. I think graphics look way better, characters look cool (we have cool jagen-like character again!!) I saw a female unit doing martial arts (it might just be brawling but regardless) its amazing!! Maps and UI look cleaner and CLEAR, not super small text like in TH. Idk why Marth and everyone is here but it seems to just be an ability thing and not too related to the story?.... I think? .... Maps looked pretty fun already and way more nicer to look at. I got a classic vibe from the camera and map layout. I felt a lot of Awakening/Fates leaking into this game. I mean the cinematic CG designers are back from Awakening, taking a break from FEH finally lol. The art style is very Genshin Impact-ish. And super tacky MC with super evil looking villain all screams FATES to me lol Regardless I'm excited, game looks super fun and a lot of cute waifus so far 👀

Okay so here is what I have compiled from everyone's suggestions on here and from the discord suggestions that I got. I tried to incorporate as many silly things as I can from as many people's suggestions as I can 💀 - Everyones uses bane skill (a few necessary exceptions, you'll see why 👀) - Maddening with Divine Pulse or Hard with no DP - Hapi is set to auto play every turn. PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS - No aux battles allowed (if maddening, no gold battles allowed) - Golden Deer Route cuz memes - Limited Deployment for certain battles (still thinking on how to do this exactly) - No shopping, use only weapons you have in convoy/Shopping is limited maybe? - No healing. Every attack counts!! Only healing items allowed maybe? - Limited inventory. - No flying No music lol (I will obviously play my playlist to make the run have specialized "epic" music that perfectly fits for a run like this. The most "epic" of songs will play for our map bgm's) My units. I tried to pick some I barely used in the past: Cyril (Warlock) Bernadetta (Fortress Knight or Dancer) Lindhart (warrior) Caspar (Sniper) Claude (Bishop) Byleth (Dismounted Falcon Knight) Annette (sniper) Ingrid (sniper) or Ashe (Warlock) (Not sure which of these two I'm picking) Mercedes (Brawling allowed cuz of THAT meme 😏) Hapi (Fortress knight but fights with Brawling cuz why not. Maybe dancer since it will defeat the point since shes on auto play, but maybe her dodge rate can balance the gimmick 💀 Still deciding what to go for) Constance (Warrior) Hanneman (War Master for Ruben) There may be some changes by the time I start if you guys have any more ideas to share, or if there's any suggestions you have to add for the ones I listed to alter, let me know!!

Anyone have ideas for a fun Three Houses (completely limitless) run to stream? I streamed so many Three Houses iron man runs, was maybe thinking of a PMU, but idk, I'm trying to find ways to make this next run as creative as possible 💀 Just super memed out run that would be fun to watch lol. Not a for sure thing whether I will stream it soon since we just came off of Three Hopes and I even said I was taking a break from Three Houses, so it depends. But I would like to garner ideas to make this next run as entertaining as possible. Some can be just aesthetic changes to just makes the run feel unique and funner to watch so don't be afraid to give ideas for things like that too!! For example, I may turn music off and put my own playlist to give a different vibe to the run, since I'm tired of hearing the same music on stream after all the runs I did haha

If people actually had a problem with that. Its honestly ridiculous. Him playing the games was awesome and he will always be my favorite content creator of all time. Gatekeeping is so dumb, like video games are meant to be played and enjoyed. He loved the waifu aspect of it. I ADORE the waifu aspect of FE, I still enjoy the gameply and old games elitists love so much to praise that is lacking of the "oh so waifu emblem" they hate so much in the current games. (Kaga etc .) People can't say it's not possible to love both. Regardless, him being a fan was awesome and fun to watch his enjoyment of the series. Wish he got to play Three Houses, he would have loved it ❤️
