For some reason the game crashes whenever i change anything at $0A8200. I can't change finn's gen 1 portrait because of this. I have no idea why this is happening can you please help if you can. Another thing is sometimes a portrait will appear entirely in black.

Whenever I try to put in a battle sprite it looks all garbled or something. Idk how to make it look like it's supposed to. It's already in the binarytools as a bin file so idk what other step i need. I'm also having trouble finding where the data for skills are since I want to edit skills like vantage.

Could you maybe give more detail what you meant by this exactly. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where to insert battle sprites and animations. I can't find where to put the hex.
