I'm going to hate it if 3houses starts getting resplendents already, but Ilyana was bad enough of a sign already. Where are: Vaike Noire (base) Katarina (i suppose it technically doesn't count, but i love the Awakening design too much for it to just be lost to history) Pheros Shura Mozu Scarlet Layla Sumeragi Kumagera Kilma Nichol Sophi Reina (basse) MITAMA I know it's not 20, but i don't know enough enough games to put down 20 and both awekening and fates have had a very long run on the game by now most of the characters are in. Definitely hoping this is the year we finally get Mitama at least.

Alright friends, I have not been voting and did not plan to vote at all this year as the game will shutdown and end service before Deirdre ever gets a brave alt. However, i thought i could at least send a vote in the way of some one else's favorite and perhaps that character will have a chance at getting in this year. So if there's one who wants a vote for character, just say the word and i'll be happy to contribute. Hopefully yours makes it in. Other than that, i have literally no interest in any of the possible options for this year as i never played Engage.

I feel like this should not be the way i works, it just makes NFU useless, no? But thanks for explaining, i wasn't aware this weird details were a thing. So bitter now that I know i just wasted my orbs on that summer shamir. Is Gambit worth using along side Galeforce? Would a slaying effect weapon be a bad mix with those two? like: arcane/slaying weapon dance galeforce DC AS solo Gambit ???? (time's pulse? some smoke skill?) I just had a thought to try to build an infantry galeforcer and i dont really have any experience with them specifically.

I don't know who she is, I don't know what she does, but I love her already; her design just got me immediately. I don't have a lot of orbs left to farm on my account, but I will try to scoop up as much as I can and hope I can get her.

Attuned banner gave me all the units before the spark, where I picked up Peony. Really good luck ngl, I even had to get by two pity breakers. No luck on any of the halloween banners. I have no orbs left on hand, so here's hoping we don't get something i like on the ninja's banner next month, like Ninja Erika or Micaiah. I have a suspicion Winter F!Corrin could be here this year so i would prefer to save for that.

How would Deirdre look with in a Blazing Wind build with the following: Arcane Caliburns Still Water Special Spiral Time's Pulse Still Water Seal I want to know if she'll be able to fire off Blazing Wind before having to trade hits in combat but i have never used this type of build before so i don't know if it's actually possible and i dont want to fodder off my only unit with Time's Pulse 4. If she can't use Blazing Wind right off the bat, I'm not going to bother trying this build out. Btw, why is it that Brash Assult 4 combined with NFU Sacred Seal still can't double enemies like Fallen Mareeta? I used both on my Deirdre but while farming book 2 for orbs i came across this happening against multiple units I encountered in the maps, I'm bitterly disappointed I had to spend as many orbs as i did chasing Brash Assult and foddering off a great unit like S!Shamir for a skill that doesn't do what it's intended to even with the seal that's supposed to allow it to work.

Corrin looks goofy to me.

Alright, can some one convince me that goofy (Brave) Corrin is good? perhaps i should elaborate. i read her weapon and skills, and all i got was "inflict -x/-x/-x/-x on foe" and DR x%. That's it. She does nothing else. like, i compare that to what Edelgard typically gets, and she's a unit that is always trying to do something. It doesn't have to be groundbreaking, but enough to catch the eye a bit. Her brave had all that crazy mobility like an infantry unit, her fallen was like an unstoppable zombie hulk, and her beach alt was just an assault tank on steroids. Corrin? "inflict -x/-x/-x/-x on foe" and DR x%, and in a few words, "use L!M!Robin and L!Nana to face me", if i understand those units effects correctly. But that's just like the blandest thing to ever write on a character's kit. I do like the vein stuff she's got going. It means we may see more interesting effects finally show up on the game but that's not quite so impressive imo, it just doesn't fulfill my expectations as fan, as something that makes her different. So please some one who understands this game better than me tell me there's actually something to see here, because i just don't see anything special. May be at the end of the day IS has no ideas left but to mixed existing effects in different amounts to create new units, but i still had just a bit of an expectation and perhaps even that was too much.

I have to make a further distinction between the games i have played and FEH because they are different sets of characters. The characters I like, from the main series, are Caeldori, Mitama, Silas, and Kaze. Silas and Kaze seem guenuingly good guys and dudes who would make great friends. I always liked Caeldori's/cordelia's design, and I really miss Mitama's uniquely-shaped eyes. In awakening, Walhart and his generals always seem like a pretty good army to go up against and i wish FE had a better, deeper story for that game. It always felt too simple. Good, but not long, or deep enough. As for FEH, my favorite has always been Deirdre. Something about her art caught my attention, and even now with a resplendent, a legendary, and a cameo appearance in Sigurd's duo alt, her base form is still really good to me. Her resplendent is probably my second favorite. My dream is to one day have Suzuki Rika do an alt for her, may be ascended, may be a bridal alt. All that said, I have never played her game, but what i know from it and about her is honestly pretty depressing stuff. Someday, if we should ever get a remake, i hope it's not just a remake, but a full re-imagining of what that story and its world is, so that we could give her and the other heroes who shared her fate a chance at a better, happier future. I have other pet favorites in FEH, like F!Corrin and Walhart, but Deirdre has been the one i have invested the most in. Unitwise, the ninja duo Nina/Kagerou is one of the most helpful units i have ever had, ironically so because I wasn't pulling for her in her banner but she showed up fairly early on. Her ability to literally go in across near the whole map to hit and bounce all the way back makes me feel like im using a dragoon from FF or something (which i absolutely love) and has allowed me to play a lot more offensively in the modes i play. Definitely recommend her as one of the more unique units I have ever played with.

Wow, I'm shocked to see Deirdre in the top 200 - #180 at 329 votes, tied with Fafnir. Which is to say she'll never have a chance at all. Man, I can't even dream with an ascended version. The pain. As for what I'll like to see vs what we'll probably get for designs: Soren - the mage of the batch for sure. I have no familiarity with him or the Tellius games though, so i can't really make any guesses about him myself. Robin - Levin sword? nah. It would have to be a dagger in the style of L!Shez. Not seeing it happening as a straight sword. But a mage again would be playing too safe. I think there's a better chance to go the Shez route than one might think. Gullveig - they can literally do anything. I like her design from the minute I saw her, and i don't mean the obvious-fanservice side of it. I do like the colors they went with and she has a pretty mystical aura. I cannot for the love of me venture even a guess at what sort of personality they will give her or what kind of background they'll go with. This is absolutely wild and I'm loving it. I wish i could be listening in onto the design meetings they'll be having to decide what to do with her. Corrin - after thinking about it today, I realize what I would want the most would be a either a lance dancer or dragon dancer version, taking after Azura, as many have already commented here. I really miss the dancer banners from a couple years back since those designs where the best in the game to me as I'm a huge fan of gala-style, elegant, formal-wear designs and it just makes me sad that we'll never get them again. Giving her a dancer role/outfit would be the only way we'll ever see her in such an outfit, and it fits in perfectly with the common theme of honoring family/friends that they almost always go for in these banners anyways. The chances of her getting an Omega-Yato version are too high since it makes things the most convenient for IS because then they'll just give us mage Robin.

I had a feeling Gulveig would win when i saw her on the voting options. The fan base lived up to my expectations, and i have no idea what to think of it lol. All i really, really want is for Corrin to get SSS-grade art like in her Resplendent and i'll be fine (conflicted about her being a sword tho if it happens, swords feel death in a way i can't really describe) Also glad for Robin, the very first character i ever got introduced to in the series.

So i pulled on the remix banner to get A!Florina, hoping to grab a Gunthra too. I got 1 colorless 5*, and 2 green 5*s. none where the ones i wanted. sparked Florina, walked off. Went in on the Engage banner, again hoping to catch either the green healer girl or Alear than spark the other. I got nothing. Sparked Alear, walked away. I didn't want to spark on the MHR but i wanted Corrin fodder. It would have been great to pick up a Lyn. They never showed up. Hardly got any blue, actually. Picked up 3 focus units, nothing i really cared out. Sparked Corrin.

Alright, i can try that. I guess it'll still be a while to gather them up. Honestly though, this game needs something else. It's main game modes are so toxic. I love the characters, but the game, yeah.

I went about 10 months without dropping $$$ on the game. Well, i broke my f2p run this moth. At least they look great, no? I'm heartbroken about not being able to get Arcane Grima this month when i had the FEH pass though. I swear all luck is against me this year. Pls at at least give us a good arcane bow and green/blue tome. that's really all i ask for this year.

ah, alright. I did guess as much. well, i guess i'll just cross my fingers and hope we get a good pile of grails next month. I can't be bothered playing raids, i like the concept, but i hate getting pushed to using units i'm not interested in.

Where's a place that i can get heroic grails from? All i can see is playing aether raids weekly (never thought i would be touching this game mode). Other than that, I already bought the 500 from the celestial stone shop, and the 800 from the Summoner duels free rewards, plus the this month's 50 from FEH pass and 40 from forging bonds. I'm like, rank 11 on the summoner's path and i don't know if leveling that further will get me anymore. I need about 600, but 500 might be enough.

Random thoughts on the week as work keeps me busy. I LOVE Resplendent F!Corrin! I think the artist absolutely captured all the things great things about her. Superb. Suzuki rika may not miss a single piece, but works like these, Deirdre, Micaiah, and Raven, are all so incredibly good. Getting the FEH pass as soon as she releases, no regrets, but i wish i had been able to nab brave Lucina with it too. I guess i'll just have to buy it. Man IS does it again with their absolute obsession with 3Houses lords. First Summer Clause, now desert Byleth. This blatant favoritism annoys me so such. You'll never see them spend this effort on any other 4*, ever. I can't imagine when we'll get 4* demote Edel or Dimitri, but you can be sure they'll be 5*s in disguise too. My dislike for this series is starting to be inversely proportional with IS's obsession with it, which is as sad as it sounds. Two tempest trials back-to-back. What. Have they ever done this? so much work.. Still haven not had the time to check out the Cold Steel anime, but even though the story won't focus on Cold Steel main characters, I'm still hyped.

Do the clash skills have synergy with the oath 4 skills teleport movement range? Debating between Finish, Clash, and Ideal Skills for my (soon to be) +10 base F!Corrin. which I have no idea how to build. Building old units in this game is such a depressing undertaking..
