  1. She costs turns, exists for like 2.1 chapters, and has no resistance during those chapters while there are sleep staffs everywhere. And she's a flier in FE4 where they don't matter because of yellow tiles and roads. I mean... she bad ok. It's not like you don't have a couple 100-kill weapons if you just want to see a mook get overkilled. 2/10 I guess Bye FE4 I will play you again in five years maybe
  2. Why three? Just thinking about it you'd use the Return ring or Return Nanna on Corple, then aside from using the Rescue staff (which if it was inherited should be on Leaf by Chapter 9 which would make the chapter go several turns faster and give Corple less time to get back to Hannibal) I don't see how another staffer would speed things up. You can't Warp Corple anywhere relevant at that point... Edit - Is the idea that you Warp a footie Return staff user to Corple's castle? I was thinking Nanna would just be one of your four dance units.
  3. I don't think we'll run out of footies sitting around doing nothing for the rest of the game without his contribution I guess you can probably lure Hannibal over towards the first castle so a Return'd Corple can talk to him in just a turn or two without needing to waste dances. In that case they're all free turns-wise and I'd give Corple a rank as a generic obsolete lategame Fire Emblem unit they give you just in case you got all your staffers killed. There's nothing wrong with a free Libra staff anyway. 5/10
  4. I can't really rank him or Sharlow or Hannibal because I don't know/remember whether you can save turns by seizing Hannibal's castle on turn 2 of Chapter 9 instead of rescuing Charploe.
  5. Hawk is great and you'll appreciate a unit with B-staves, good 1~2 combat, and high res in a couple of situations very much. You therefore end up Warping Hawk around to patch his footie movement, and unlike non-subs you have much more restricted possibilities for using other characters to do Sagey jobs. Hawk is significantly more important to all-subs than Sety is to vanilla because of that. 7.5/10
  6. He's a good footie that's worth Warping a couple of times to get him involved in important stuff for a few turns here and there. 6.5/10
  7. He's almost as bad as Faval, but not quite. You don't need to wait around for Brigid to pair, but his recruitment is even worse than Faval's since you don't have a Warp staff in chapter 8 in all-subs; you therefore have to dancewalk Daisy across an additional length of map. Total turn cost is less though, and Celice can't catch a Warp either so your turn potential is constrained in any case. And in all-subs your general mass of combat footies means slightly more since they don't have quite so much individual firepower. 1/10
  8. While he exists, he probably averages about a half of a slightly consequential kill per chapter if I don't count garbage kills for XP (units that could easily be vanished in seizes etc). That is about on par with the other unimportant-but-free footies, which I ranked around 4, except Faval also costs a lot of turns and is around less, bringing him to zero. I am kinda using him as my calibration point for a completely terrible zero-worthy unit, because of all that. I'm not interested enough in how much harder he overkills a random subordinate dragonrider than the other units to give him points for it.
  9. Worst character in the game. Costs turns to gestate, costs turns to recruit, his holy weapon costs turns, he is bowlocked, he is a footie, he is one of the last gen2 characters to exist, he is 100% pure butt. 0/10
  10. Automatic 10/10, 4-character dancer But she does actually get you a few less turns than Leen in these rankings... because we're ranking subs for all-subs and it takes a few more turns for Celice to double-back after getting Laylea with no Warp staff. But hey, she still gets more turns than she costs.
  11. He's a completely free, super powerful combat unit that ignores status staffs and he'll be in your 4-character dance cross almost every turn after chapter 7. But, unlike someone like Leaf if you dropped him you could replace him with a different character that's like 70-80% as effective, so... 8.5/10
  12. She's like Tinny except she doesn't cost turns and she's a self-funding, 6-move B-staff user for several chapters. In all-subs where Mana is going to be very bad it bumps Linda's importance significantly. 6/10
  13. I ranked borderline worthless but free characters somewhere around 4-5; costing turns you can never make up is an automatic -3 or more depending on how bad it is.
  14. Only the Azel pairing is fast enough not to cost turns, but you're sacrificing the Azel/Aideen pairing Rescue staff in that case - so, basically, she costs turns. She's a mediocre footie you can easily do without, but she can counterkill wyverns if you want to bother and she'll promote and start using B-staffs around chapter 9. Her recruitment is a minor pain but it doesn't actually cost any more turns done properly. She can use status staffs pretty well and she's self-funding to buy them if you see a reason for them. 2/10
  15. Subs are ranked for all-subs. She's got B swords, which is enough to use the brave sword, which means she can use the gen1 80+ kill brave sword lightsabre, which means she can finish arenas, which means she is a mounted healer that gets free arena XP and self-funded, which means she is going to be somewhere between useful and critical in every chapter she exists in, which means she is an 8/10
