Well I'm pretty sure some of the other players have set it already but As mentioned no romance happens in the story just some platonic loyalty and relationships to certain alliances. The romance aspect is there to satisfy Fire Emblem's audience which I believe are mostly shippers and the marriage is just a choose your own ending. Nothing in canon thankfully happens because some ships are so weird.

I mean if you think of the fact that he stalks people around Garreg Mach to just study crests and some people are uncomfortable with it. yeah he’s a perv. If Fire Emblem was modern then he’d stalk anyone around.

Going to second this as well he's probably another version of Byleth. If Byleth didn't go Crimson Flower he easily got himself by Rhea and Byleth who's as dumb as him.

Yeah i agree I've actually listened to the audiobook version of Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy and I'm halfway through it i finished game of thrones on audiobook i found it kinda boring. But it's probably because I'm not a low fantasy person. I've also tried reading non fiction but it sometimes give repetitive advise that shouldn't be on a book or stuff that I already knew. Fiction actually has the same story tropes but different takes on it. I guess literature classes kinda take the fun out of it because I don't get why study a fictional book academically when there's plenty of other things worth studying academically. Ngl even when I was younger math classes were boring for me and I enjoy literature class more.

I don't think I want Byleth as a student given that the story established that he's been a traveling mercenary with their father Jeralt that just came in to the monastery as a teacher with no experience. They were taught all by their dad Jeralt so they'd never been in a classroom anyways till the events of Three Houses. Maybe if Byleth was written to be a student it'll work better than Three Houses now. I did remember my gut instict didn't want to play as a teacher and I bought warriors instead as my first Fire Emblem game. I was thinking it's wrong and why play as a teacher. I bought the game expecting disappointment and i should've trusted my gut a little more.

Oh sorry I was thinking something else but yeah that's pretty much it there's way too much cheating in the movies for me. This happens in original pinoy tv shows as well and that's something that turned me off. I do watch cinemalaya a bit more than most of the mainstream stuff they have better quality in storytelling.

No its not because i was cheating its because I keep using English during filipino classes. I had more cheating problems in math classes.

I also had the same problem but I was born and raised in the Philippines. I refused to speak tagalog and never spoke it during my filipino classes but it got better with practice. When I was younger I get confused vocab belonged to with language as I got older I understood which belonged to which. I did last year take some tagalog classes for a summer program here with a class and I kinda got some feedback to watch more filipino movies which i honestly don't like because of repetitive theme.

Yeah I'd probably be a very good magic user at that point lol.

Story arcs with seeing different versions of yourself: I'd probably site Fire Emblem Heros Adrift here as an example very good way for Azura to stop telling herself to dream and wake up to reality. Adrift was my favorite paralogue on Fe Heros for that sole reason alone I just wished it was book 4 instead. There's also alternate versions of your self and that's really interesting. The Nightmares/Dream tropes: Citing Fe Heros again I really love Book IV its my favorite book of Fe Heros and the idea of someone usually stuck in a dream and trying to solve it is there. Probably back to first point when the nightmare comes its a relation back to someone's fear or the brain revealing stuff about that you know but don't want to touch. Sharena's way too unsure of the fact that she could've been a fairy but couldn't. I must do it: I hate Three Houses writing on Crimson Flower but I like Edelgard as a character there's things she wants to do but she can't because of how society works in Fodlan. I just wish Crimson Flower didn't feel like Twsitd put a gun on her head and say destroy Fodlan one thing for certain she wants a destroyed crest system.

I used to read a lot back when I was elementary. But I started reading less by the start of 7th grade because my teacher was always mad at me for not getting anything right in his math class and me asking way too much pre algebra questions on him. I was at a point of overstudying and my grades dropped but its not a failing grade. I started thinking afterwards reading anything fictional is useless. I'm now convincing myself a little more that reading fiction is fine.

One thing I'd like to say is that Byleth is kind of a bland character he didn't really do anything in the story for me. Without Sothis he'd be killed when the Bandits scene happened. I think the problem with Byleth is that they focussed too much on the no emotion thing to the point they derive Byleth of personality, second problem is that they made Byleth too much as a self insert. The only stuff I'd think of Byleth is good at killing people, clueless about Fodlan and creepy sometimes.

Oh and I want to beat the crap out if nemesis if Byleth joins.
