  1. It's been a while since I read about Tellius lore, but I still struggle a bit on how Blood Pacts in Tellius work. If, say, some country broke an agreement on the blood pact or something, how exactly does someone die from it? How lethal are the effects of the blood pact's curse or whatever? Also, does the Blood Pact have any effects on deities? Can the Blood Pact be used to subdue and control the strongest factions in fiction such as the Time Lords or the Xeelee Empire?
  2. How chaotic or un-chaotic-ish would the events of the games be if all of the characters know literally everything?
  3. You folks have a lot of interesting answers. And pray forgive the discourtesy of not being able to give any specified variables for my post. I'm definitely not going to survive college.
  4. Transporting a modern day country to another world, more particularly a fantasy world, may sound like a very interesting and fun idea, however I heard that an isekai'd modern country would more likely suffer a major crisis if it were to be sent to a Fire Emblem world. Once a modern country gets isekai'd to a FE world, it would not be able to contact its trading partners, causing the stock market to crash and burn since most modern countries rely heavily on international trade. And if the country isn't self-sufficient on food or other natural resources, many people would starve to death. Protests would be happening everywhere around the country due to the many problems the country is facing due to being isekai'd into another world. There are probably more, but those are the only terrible consequences that I could think of. One thing is for sure that there is a high chance that the modern nation would just collapse within a week after arriving in the FE World. All of you guys are probably not economic experts, but I still want to know what you think a modern country should do in order to prevent itself from collapsing after being isekai'd and losing allies and trading partners? Additional Questions: If a modern country were to be placed beside an FE continent, which country on Earth would you choose? And which FE continent would you like for your chosen modern country to neighbour with? And why? And how would the government and citizens of the isekai'd country would react to their new neighbours in the FE world and vice versa? How would the modern country's appearance affect the events of each FE game depending on which FE continent the modern country is located next to?
  5. If you're talking about the scenario I made in the post, I was actually imagining the wyverns themselves knocking the enemy riders off the saddles by forwardly plunging their claws into the enemy wyverns' torsos at high speeds, causing the enemy riders to be thrown off the saddles with the force equivalent to a high speed car crash, though I suppose I could have worded it better in my post and I actually think it depends on how fast wyverns in FE can fly, whether they are moderately as fast as a helicopter or as slightly faster than a biplane. After seeing the speed on how fliers move in the games, it seems like their maximum speed is leaning on the former, so I am honestly not sure if my scenario even still applies here. If you're not referring to that scenario of mine… I don't really have much knowledge on how much punch arrows have against people, so I don't really know if you're right or wrong on that one I guess hehe. Though I guess a crossbow would be a more fitting choice in a ranged aerial combat than a bow and arrow, and I am pretty sure crossbows exist in Radiant Dawn and even in FE1 if I recall. And yeah, as Acacia Sgt said, the dogfighting tactics that I am imagining was primarily based on the idea of targeting mounts with ranged weapons, though it would also be cool if a flier was able to hit an enemy rider him/herself with a projectile even if it wouldn't necessarily push them off their saddles. Though now that he mention, I honestly don't know how arrows would be able to penetrate to penetrate wyvern scales even though arrows are wyverns knights' weakness in the games. Perhaps wyverns have certain weak spots in their body like the wings and whatnot that allows the enemy fliers to kill them if they are skilled enough to heat those weak spots. And I also did mention fliers using magic to shoot down other enemy fliers, though I suppose by that point, it wouldn't be a dogfight between pegasi/falcon/wyvern fliers classes since they typically don't have the ability to use magic, it would be a dogfight between magic fliers like Dark Fliers, Harriers, Malig Knights, and whatnot. It would still be pretty cool though.
  6. Hi, I have another question to ask. I know I have just recently posted a question a few moments ago, but I just couldn't wait to ask this question in this forum. I want to ask what you would imagine dogfighting tactics should look like if an FE game decided to show an animated cutscene that only shows two squadron of pegasi/wyverns/whatever fighting each other in the skies. For me, I personally think that fliers in FE should primarily use bows and magic to shoot down enemy fliers once they are close enough to their target and also perform some evasive maneuvers to avoid being taken down by enemy fliers. The fliers might still use melee weapons in case the enemy gets too close. And in the case of wyvern riders, the wyvern's claws or jaws could be used as melee weapons against the enemy. I would like to see some tactics where two wyvern knights luring two enemy wyvern knights into chasing them with all of the four of them flying at their maximum speeds, only for the enemy to be caught off guard as two wyvern knights to execute sharp banking maneuvers to make way for another pair of allied wyvern knights to fly towards the two enemy wyvern knights head on and hit them hard with the enemy pair having no way to react or maneuver out of the way in time as the allied wyverns hit the enemy riders off their saddles with force equivalent to a high-speed car crash as the allied wyverns dug their claws deep into the enemy wyverns' torsos. How about you? What do you think FE dogfighting in FE should look like?
  7. Hello! I'm back again to ask another dumb question in this forum. What if the Mjölnir tome not only grants +20 Skill and +10 Speed, but also grants the user to use much higher forms of electromagnetism powers beyond just sending powerful lightning bolts towards enemies? Let's say that House Freege somehow discovered the concept of electromagnetism and gains extensive knowledge of it as years pass, what would happen if Thrud, or rather, his descendants with major holy blood, used that knowledge to utilize the tome's electromagnetism powers to its full potential? Would it make them more powerful? Or would it make them weaker? And how would this affect the story and lore of FE4 and FE5?
  8. Umm… I'm pretty sure cancer was technically first discovered back in Ancient Egypt in 3000 BCE I think and Fire Emblem games usually take place years after that time period. So it is not impossible for somebody in FE's ancient time period to discover and make some records about it. Sure, the records won't mention anything about cells since they cannot be discovered until the invention of a microscope, but cells still exists in every living being as those are how all living beings on Earth exist in the first place, people just won't know that they exist and healing magic still needs to affect a human's cells in some way in order to heal a person's wounds.
  9. Sorry if this topic contains a very sensitive topic such as cancer. Some of you probably have loved ones who are suffering or have died from this condition, and I am truly sorry for bringing this up. But I just couldn't help myself because I could not help but wonder how exactly does healing staves in FE, well, heal people. You see, I stumbled upon a post in some subreddit about how Healing Magic, while helpful, could potentially cause health issues such as cancer. I forgot where I found it, but I still remember the part of it. It basically says something like this: "There's a lot of the method to explain the healing magic, however the most plausible explanation is that the spell is accelerating the cell growths, however this also mean that the spell would increase the chances to give patients cancer due to the abnormal cell growths" I'm not sure if my quoting is accurate, but it does have the same idea that magic can cause cancer. So when I first saw this post, I was wondering as to why units in Fire Emblem don't get cancer whenever they get healed by a Cleric, Bishop, or whatever class that can use a staff. I'm not necessarily saying that it should be a gameplay feature in FE for units to get cancer if they get healed multiple times by healing magic. It's just that there hasn't been a case in-lore where somebody got cancer for getting healed by some cleric so many times. Again, sorry for bringing up this topic. I just want to know why nobody in FE lore suffers from cancer due to healing magic as it over replicates cells or white cells in particular or whatever.
  10. Lol! I would honestly pay to see and taste that kind of burger if it exists. I don't know... While that may sound plausible, radars, even the ones during WW2 and the Cold War, are said to already detect flying organic creatures, even birds. Even if Cold War era radars are not as good as the ones we have today, I don't see what would stop those radars from detecting those wyvern riders. So I would say radars during the Cold War could still be able to detect wyverns. Also, those radars that you are talking about sound like passive radars, the type of radar that listens for emissions instead of emitting something and using that emission to detect something.
  11. Hmm... let's see. How about... Variable A: Gen 1 Jugdral Took place on Earth shortly after the Korean War (1950 - 1953). Basically mid-50s to early 60s. 12. Hi I am back again for another dumb question. And as you can see I am back in the NES and SNES forum again to ask for another Jugdral related question. Sorry, I just find FE4 and FE5 to be very fascinating to me due to their fascinating story and lore as well as their dark themes and interesting game mechanics, though admittedly the maps in Genealogy are very very very large for me. However, I'm not here to talk about how I love Shouzou Kaga's Jugdral games. This is a very very silly question for me to ask, but what do you guys think would happen if Jugdral was suddenly "isekai'd" to our world, but during the days of the Cold War (1947 - 1991)? Assuming that Jugdral's entire landmass somehow got transported to our world (Earth) along with its countries, and once the natives of Jugdral realized that they are in another world, how would the natives react to the fact that their entire continent just got transported to another world? Also, I would assume that the countries of the Cold War Earth would notice the sudden presence of the Jugdral continent eventually. How would the encounter between the Cold War Nations of Earth and the nations of Jugdral would play out? What would either side think of each other? Basically, how would the nations of Jugdral react to the civilizations far advanced than their own? And how would the Cold War Nations, especially the USA and the USSR, react to Jugdral's magic and fantasy creatures like pegasi and wyverns? How would the sudden arrival of Jugdral's landmass affect the geopolitical tension between the United States and the Soviet Union in any way? Would any of the Jugdral nations pick a side in the Cold War or would all of them just simply stay neutral to the ongoing tensions of Earth's nations? Sorry for asking such a question. I just really like FE4/5 and I am always intrigued with the history of the Cold War itself. And asking this question just satisfies my likeness for both topics even if they are unrelated to each other. So uhh… yeah. What do you guys think would happen if Jugdral suddenly get transported to another world. Also, sorry for my terrible English.
  13. I see... This would be very helpful to my friend's roleplay. Thanks! Honestly can't wait to see how my friend would make Sacae interact with outsiders, especially non-Elibeans with modern tech from another world, and the new world Sacae and its tribes found themselves in with all of these pieces of information you have shared. (Also my friend is a 'she', but eh that's not really important.)
  14. I know this may sound stupid, but my friend is having a roleplay in a Discord server where nations from various worlds with different tech level ranging from ancient to 21st century tech are suddenly being isekai'd to a fantasy world, and for some reason my friend decided to roleplay as Sacae from FE6/FE7. I just don't really get it since Sacae isn't exactly what I would consider as a nation in a sense that it doesn't have a central government governing that land. Perhaps it is a confederation of nomadic tribes? In any case, my friend said that the Mods in that server seemed to approve Sacae into the rp, so I suppose it doesn't really matter whether Sacae could be considered as a nation or not. Still, my friend still doesn't know much about Sacae and begins to ask me about it. I don't really know much about Sacae either since I still haven't played FE6/FE7 or looked deeper into the lore of Elibe. So I decided that I just ask here in the forums about it as opposed to just researching about it on the internet I guess. So… yeah. Basically, what does me and my dear friend have to know about the lore of Sacae, their culture, politics, and other stuff related to them? And how exactly would these affect the Sacaeans interaction with the fantasy world they isekai'd in? How would they react when their neighboring nations suddenly disappeared? Also as a bonus question, I'm curious on why some FE fans seem to be scared of Sacae when they are playing FE6? Does anybody care to explain why?
  15. I've read your replies now guys. And I'll just say that thank you guys for clarifying that I am not bothering you folks. I just don't want to be seen as an attention-seeker by the people in these forums. I really like Fire Emblem and I just want to have fun applying logic to the fantasy video game series like FE as well as thinking about things that should've been present or at least mentioned in the games and posting questions like "Does serfdom exist in Fire Emblem?" is my way of expressing that fun.
