  1. Yeah, I'm just dreaming. Early 2024 sounds a lot more likely and I'm happy either way.
  2. I think announcement is quite likely in the next Nintendo Direct (September?). It will be glorious. Dark screen. Return of the legendary tale that inspired the award-winning Fire Emblem: Three Houses Twelve Crusaders flashback scene unveils, accompanied by commentary. Back in the days of yore, Satan's evil darkness spread throughout the land, engulfing the world in a terrible nightmare. Suffering day upon day of endless grief, the people gazed futilely toward darkened skies. The twelve lords of Jugdral descended from heaven to confront the wicked darkness. Invoking light, they reduced Satan to ashes. Mankind's lost hope returned. And today, as time flows endlessly on, this tale has become but an ancient legend. Title drop. Fire Emblem Echoes: Inheritors of Light Gran calendar 757. A cutscene with the hero Sigurd striding across the vast plains, with his squire Oifey and Christmas cavaliers in tow. Switch to battle footage as Sigurd kicks ass. Lex and Azelle shown fighting. Quan, Ethlyn and Finn join. Arvis bestows Silver Sword upon Sigurd. Deirdre in the forest. Eldigan rushes his troops to protect Sigurd's back. Show glimpses of Lachesis, Edain, Brigid, Ayra, Ced, Erinys, Tailtiu, Beowolf. Steel against steel, magic, wide maps, tactics, return of battalions, romance, betrayal, heroes and dark secrets - a epic with an incomparable scale. And so war wages on across Jugdral... 3. Casual mode is a good addition and having freedom with options is great in general. Hopefully the devs keep providing options for different kinds of players in the future as well. They could even introduce more customization to the current modes, like different sliders for how much more EXP the players would like to get so leveling different units is easier and more viable, or give us a real Ironman mode that players could toggle on in the options when starting a new file.
  4. I see toxicity the other way around too, like you're called an "elitist" and unwanted around the hoods if you say you like series staples such as permadeath or weapon durability. Or if you genuinely enjoy chilling with the laid-back pace of Genealogy's maps.
  5. This. Annoying (mobile UI driven, like always?) decision to cut off good forum space for a small curiosity like that. It doesn't really provide continuous value unlike less scrolling does. There's a reason computer screens are wide - let us use that width instead of forcing us to watch wasted space.

  7. Play through Engage. Play through Kaga Saga games (or at least TearRing and Berwick). Finish Utawarerumono series.
  8. There's nothing better than an elementary school -aged girl with a huge axe. Now that's... an insane Jubelo. Probably more jacked than Ogma. Exactly, she sounds really fun. I can already see and hear how enjoyable fielding her will be.
  9. Aaaand Anna just became a mandatory unit to use. That's extremely endearing voice acting! She sounds familiar from somewhere but I don't know where. Look at that child go swinging an axe almost bigger than her own figure! Hopefully we get more English voice acting for the other characters in the coming weeks.
  10. This is all I need to know (I think?). Now I can make Goldmary a proper Hero with Sword/Axe, just need to get Axe aptitude/proficiency/whatever on her somehow, if understood the system correctly. After that I'll probably ignore the class system, except for maybe Jade and Louis if I end up leveling them. Seems like Bond support convos are just one-liners, which isn't surprising if the Emblems really have them with every single unit. I think a separate transition to a cutscene instead of the characters just saying those lines on the support screen feels a bit unnecessary, though.
  11. This might not be a complete endgame file and they are still missing achievements. Actually a weird design oversight that the game's not showing how many achievements out of how many you've got (40/??).
  12. Kinda feels like Emblems might be included in the Allies' achievements. Stuff like "Achieve max Bond level with Marth" etc. would be sense. Gladly welcoming 40(+) units though if that turns out to be true instead.
  13. Leif should give proficiency to all but daggers and brawling like a proper Master Knight. Make him good, make him wanted, make him a fantastic utility Emblem everyone wants to bond with, make players go "oh yeah! it's Leifing time!" so we can get a Thracia remake follow-up to Genealogy. My Ninja Corrin agrees.
  14. Lumera Emblem sounds like a great idea. If they are hiding the playable status of already known characters, Morion would definitely be my favorite addition. He's such a badass. And hot. And has better beard than Vander-daddy. Don't hate me. Aside from him, more random common folk would be appreciated. Isn't there a Talk on map recruitment again? Maybe there's a bunch of missable villagers we can draft into our ranks.
  15. I see. Still a bit fishy to list them together with the playable characters like this. Yes, seems like there has to be at least one another playable divine dragon unit, otherwise that doesn't make any sense (and I think that same "if Divine Dragon" was used in some other context as well). So Veyle might be the most likely option. They can just do the ol' "your friend but actually bad but you saved me and so now I'm good again" thing. Or with her having those chains around her ankles, perhaps she doesn't help the baddies voluntarily.
