  1. Has anyone played through the game with this? I tried it on an early maniac map and it turned knights into butter. Any info on how it effects the balance of the whole game?
  2. So the randomizer seemed to work but there appear to be a lot of bugs with the newer versions. They recommended using build 2.4.4 just to revert the hard mode mechanics which seemed to do the job. Edit: UI and menus flashed sometimes when on a new beta version of dolphin but I didn't experience this when using Dolphin 5.0 Newer versions have the option to make the dragons not mandatory in the final section, which sounds more enjoyable with 2 more units to choose to take with you, but apparently you'd also need to use a separate program called "Paragon". This is to correct the biorythm values which go out of whack and grant a big crit bonus to half the enemy units. Hope this is helpful to anyone anyone else wanting to make these changes to the game.

  4. Hello, Has anyone ever attempted to modify the game to play hard mode without the changes to the weapon triangle and enemy ranges. To be honest the changes never sounded very fun to me and in a perfect world I'd like to just play a harder version of normal mode without changing the mechanics. Anybody? Thanks
  5. Hello. This might seem a bit silly but does anyone know if it's possible to mod the game to introduce the critical bonus of some classes that are absent from the Japanese vesrion. It would be nice to play the game without effectively "nerfed" Rolf, Shinon, swordmaster girl, swordmaster boy, and Largo I think the berserker was called. Cheers
  6. This is the error in case anyone found a solution. Cheers. Edit: Disabling Dual core is in a setting in config. Worked for me. The texture pack looks awesome actually. The same files also seemed to work for the Japanese version except for the weapon icons which is no big deal really.   7. Hi, Sorry I never logged back on here so didn't see your message. I've uploaded the contents of my "Card A" folder in Dolphin for you to use in case it happens to be of use to you or anyone else. I suppose you would have to change the save settings to .cgi in the mem card manager to use them. I'm currently back in this FE world trying to figure out how to get the HD texture pack to work for PoR on Dolphin.   8. Hi all. I've completed Path of Radiance on maniac mode using an English translation of the Japanese version, and would like to transfer my epilogue data to the USA version of Radiant Dawn. I've followed the instructions from the post here but it always pops up with a message saying the path of radiance save file is corrupted and needs to be deleted. Has anyone managed to get this method to work? I've attached my POR save if anyone is kind enough to convert it to a USA one. Many thanks Update: The solution involved using the memory card manager under tools in Dolphin. I had to change the memory card settings in dolphin so that it's using .gci files rather than .raw, and convert my memory card from .raw to .gci. Then I changed the J into an E in "GFEJ" the first line using a hex editor, and gave the file the same name as the american save file. Hope this helps if anyone else had trouble using the other method. MemoryCardA.JAP.raw
