Feeling inspired today, I’d like some FE characters to draw. No guarantees on quality (or completion if I burn out) or anything lol, Fire Emblem ocs or custom avatars are okay if you leave a reference.

Not sure where else to put this. I personally do not like the ability to name the avatar in recent games. Specifically Three Houses and Engage. It butchers the voice acting for little to no reason. In Awakening and Fates it made sense, because you could change how you looked and the voices weren’t full. But in the aforementioned games, not only can you not change your appearance but now the characters have to use another name the entire time to refer to you. It was funny to name my Alear “Daddy” on my Maddening playthrough, but that’s about it. I hope in future games, IS uses the canon name and removes the ability to change it. Opinions?

I think Nowi could have had a sweet support with Veyle. Erk with Hortensia would have been hilarious. Cannot escape the pink haired clerics. But number one wish-it-happened for me would be Xander and Diamant. They have a lot of similarities and I think a deeper conversation about the weight of being the eldest prince would be nice, although I am unsure of how that would work considering the one line one line two line algorithm the convos run on.

Everyone looks nice so far! I might have to poke in the guidelines some more haha. I have an Ao3 account (beware most of it is old and cringey) but I don’t really have anywhere I put my art unless Animal Crossing forums count. I’ll look into starting a thread here, but I also am not very brave until I warm up to people. Thank you! I’ll start poking around there.

Hello all, I’m Mari and I haven’t logged into this account for forever but might as well give these forums a shot. I like Serenes and have used it for FE info for years, but I’ve never actually joined besides to ask a quick question. The site is a bit confusing to me but I hope to get used to it. I do art and write n’ stuff, and I’ve played FE13 to 17 (minus valentia but i will get around to it shh) + Blazing Blade, Shadow Dragon and Warriors. Besides Fire Emblem I’ve been playing a lot of Xenoblade.
