  1. Perhaps a certain someone will have no choice but to (try to) eliminate him as he clings to unreasonable ideas of justice.
  2. It's been a while, but I seem to recall not being able to play Smash Ultimate at 9pm when it launched. But then I just changed my Switch's timezone setting to EST and tried again, and it worked fine. So if it doesn't work initially that should still be an option.
  3. Okay, let's recap: Hilda's lazy and doesn't want to bother with fighting. Marianne has no confidence and wants to be left at home. Ignatz probably doesn't even want to be here in the first place. It's no wonder Claude is pushing for friendship to settle everything. Otherwise he'll have to fight the whole war by himself.
  4. Poor Sylvain, destined to be overshadowed by all the news coming out of E3.
  5. I wonder, there is a scroll bar on the right, so I think it's quite possible one more tier exists below. Only question I had was where's the Noble/Commoner tier if its already scrolled to the top, but as this is an "Instruct" screen they might just not include that here since everyone already qualifies for it without any instruction.
  6. Definitely some interesting stuff there. I'll hold off on analyzing too hard since tomorrow's Treehouse segment will likely be more in depth, but I at least see that "Seteth" is greenie's official spelling (also "Lysithea", if anyone was doubtful). And then there were these two:
  7. Last name マクネアリー, looks like "McNairy" from what I could find. "McNealy/McNeely" is also possible, but that more often seems to be マクネリ or マクニーリー.
  8. Oh wow, from that description she's practically a political hostage. That's very interesting.
  9. Tricky, tricky. Byleth will probably be an infantry swordsman, so with that in mind: Edelgard/Dimitri/Claude--Frankly, I'd be happy with any of the lords, so I've built the rest of the team as if they weren't a consideration. If pushed I guess I'd go with Dimitri since I'm curious about the "shadow" he's carrying, but they're all viable. Ingrid--Gotta have a pegasus knight, and she looks born for the role, not to mention she's got the prettiest design in my eyes. Sylvain--Seems like a pretty cool dude, I would grab a beer with him and I don't even drink. He'd be the team's cavalier. Lysithea--I like prodigies, so she is welcome on my team. A shame Dark Mage is male only, but hopefully "Warlock" will fill that void as a female Reason class. Having said that... Marianne/Dorothea--...I also need someone with Faith, but as long as Marianne is a complete mystery I can't be sure about her. If I don't like her I'd go with Dorothea, though in that case I might switch her role with Lysithea depending on the weapon ranks. Hilda--She may want to slack off, but I'm afraid I can't pass up on twintails. She's getting an axe and headed straight for the front lines. And if that's atop a wyvern, even better. Ashe--He seems like an earnest guy, he fills the Archer void, and he comes with Locktouch. What's not to like? Dedue--For balance reasons I'd want an armored male to round out this list, so Dedue it is.
  10. Not really? There are a ton of names that are one letter off or have the same pronunciation, but only a handful that are left identical after the official translations, and even then usually only one of them will be playable and the other(s) NPCs (even "Ignatius" was a boss in Awakening first). The only exceptions I can think of are "Arthur", "Cain", and "Lorenz", all of whom have a wider gap in their respective games than Fates and Three Houses. Still, only time will tell.
  11. While they are willing to reuse names occasionally, Ignatius was a character in Fates ("Ignis" in Japan), and I suspect that would be a bit too recent for them.
  12. I'm curious about the picture in the top left. Playing around with the levels makes it look a bit like Dimitri, though the quality is awful so who knows.
  13. If you mean gender clues, he's explicitly described as the second son of his family. And here I thought Bernadetta's voice was too high.
  14. Strange. Also, I mentioned this earlier, but they might be trying for "Jeritza", as in https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/マリア・イェリッツァ. Only problem is that that's a small ェ there but a large エ here. So who know?
  15. Could be the surname of Catherine, Alois, or Ceteth. Also, I'm guessing it's probably "Jeritza" after a cursory google search, but we'll have to wait and see.
