    The whole Emblem Amie feature leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I'll just be ignoring it.

    Nice to know that some people can just ignore optional content without burning down houses.

    Now excuse me while I proceed to burn down other people's armories.

    But it's pretty jarring to see how much this is dividing the community. Like I can understand the face petting is weird, but the game we still only know a little about is no longer worth it?

    I don't think this in inherently bad but the real problem is that since we're westerns buying a japanese game, we're considered a 'secondary audience' simply because we are in the same country as them. Hell the only time I can think that IS really noticed the western audience is when people wanted fire emblem over here originally. Until awakening westerners were hardly paid any thought.

    I'm glad fire emblem is expanding, is necessarily the right direction? Maybe? Unless we get stuck with a fire emblem game where there is no strategy (or one where we're stuck on mars, seriously glad that idea got shot down) I think we'll be fine. Games are like people, they can change, but no reason to stop being friends with them unless they do something drastic that changes the core of themselves.

    tldr:
    I'm sure this will be fine with or without the face-rubbing. (besides it's more funny to me than anything else)

    Have you ever had a moment where in theory you're supposed to be upset, but instead what happened was so outlandish and bizarre that you can't stop laughing and actually enjoy it? That's me right now. Like. This is so stupidly funny I can't actually be upset that I can pet people. I HAVE to pet people for the sake of the great empire.

    Maybe that's the clincher IntSys is keeping from us - there's no class promotion anymore, just reclassing.

    I get the feeling that the third path will allow you to recruit all the siblings but the conditions will be less straight forwards. Like how you had to talk to katarina three times to get her to swap sides all while she was trying to murder you.

    Google actually gives me results for a woman named Camila from Chile who is a member of the communist youth of Chile. (I don't actually think that is who she would be referencing, I did think it was kinda funny though lol. Mostly mentioning her because she is apparently notable(?) enough to have a wikipedia page.)

    man, i watched naruto for a long time, finally dropped it after afew years, and i was still upset with how everything went from what i heard.

    worst part is, if i wasn't excited for the game, i could maybe see that description happening.

    Don't worry it only got worse as time went on. If you dislike Awakening's writing... oh man. I do think FE:IF will be a higher quality game though, Nintendo sees potential in the series.
