  1. What's your personal favorite playstyle? Sorta a mix between casual and LTCing, I don't heavily invest time into planning, I just wing the game and try to finish chapters as fast as I can What's your favorite difficulty setting? Hard, but I will usually do a Lunatic playthrough as my second one. Then I ragequit and go back to hard Do fallen allies stay dead? Nope, I like the characters in FE too much, the only time I let a unit stay dead were the FE5 generic knights that you get for free irons some odd reason What sort of characters do you prefer? (You can pick more than one answer) Utility and/or good bases, since I don't need to spend time on them. It also helps if they have a likable personality and I always have to use the green knight of the Christmas duo What are your favorite classes? (You can pick more than one answer; promoted classes are grouped with their unpromoted counterparts) Clerics/Priests because staffhax Pegasus Knights even though they are usually relegated to carrying positions Cavaliers cause I like horseback units in general Dancers/Bards/Herons make everything easier, especially staff spamming
  2. I've encountered two glitches. One being when a male hero takes no damage from an attack when they are spinning their sword in the air, the sword will suddenly appear on the ground then back to the hero's hand. The other is the battle music reverting to the map music during battle when a bolt axe is used sometimes.
  3. It's the generic female archer in general. Yes, they are even like that for Lucina. These seals are truly something magical.
  4. Best: FE4 Item Jingle Worst: FE1 Ally Falls Jingle
  5. Top: Thracia 776: Mainly due to the whole "so broken is balanced" kind of thing going on with the staves/scrolls and whatnot. I found the story and the overall feel of the game to be really good, knowing that all of the victories won in the game will be small victories and the army goes through a lot of tough crap and that you basically had an untrained, poorly equipped army vs a relatively well equipped army most of the time. I like how the game uses things aside from a bunch of high stat units to make the game tough, such as status staves, leadership stars (i.e. Cyas) and single RNG. Plus Leif is my favorite lord in the series, so there's that. Awakening: So much stuff to do in this game. Thracia 776 was the most fun fire emblem in my opinion, but Awakening will just keep me busy the most out of any Fire Emblem so far. In between the high stat caps, streetpass, Lunatic and eventually Lunatic Plus, DLC, spotpass teams, double duel and all that, there's just so much stuff to do. I think that Pairing Up and Rallies are the best additions to the series, even if Rally Spectrum is completely broken. It helps that the writing was fan-friggin-tastic and the characters are very memorable, even the ones with a small amount of dialogue. The story was also amazing, though I would argue that Valm was definitely a weak point in the story. New Mystery: This game didn't stick to the dated source material as much as Shadow Dragon, which is actually a good thing. I mean, Mystery of the Emblem was already a great game, but New Mystery took all that stuff and added in much higher difficulties, a better plot, and most importantly, the creation of the Avatar unit, even though it has broken both Fire Emblems it has been in. The only complaint I have about this game is that a good portion of the lategame units were there for "free silvers" Bottom: Shadow Dragon: This game would've been fine if it didn't stick to the really dated source material that much. The plot was shallow and the characters were extremely bland. This was fine in the NES days, though I'd argue that the fact that there were this many characters was great for its time, but nothing changed from the NES era to the DS era. It didn't help that the units were really imbalanced, since about half of the cast was terrible. However, the fact that this game had online battles made it fun and whatnot. Binding Blade: I didn't like how the RNG usually determined how well you did due to the low accuracy of just about everything with the GBA evasion calculations. The game also liked to toss a bunch of crappy units in between each good unit, so the unit imbalance is strong in this game. I'm really having a hard time determining the last of my bottom, since the pros and cons of each other FE don't really outweigh each other
  6. So far... +HP -Lck However, the game deems the name "Sexy" as inappropriate, so anyone who gets me via streetpass will get "Robin" instead. Oh well.
  7. Best: Black Knight Worst: FE13 generic Great Knights. Dat Helmet
  8. This is more of a "holy crap that worked" moment for my friend that I saw while he tried to recruit me on streetpass He had a lvl 1 assasin avatar (by chapter 7, he got really lucky with the shops and powerleveled his guy a lot) who had to go against my lvl 15 grandmaster avatar with like >70 hp and 25ish defense. He had a good plan by standing just on the outer edge of my attack range and attacking me with a bow. After that, though, he ran in with a steel sword even though he couldn't kill me with it and my avatar could easily 2RKO him. Needless to say, he got an Ignis crit with a 7% crit chance and killed my avatar.
  9. So far... Me Virion: That voice... Stahl: I've always been a fan of the green cavalier, but Stahl honestly seems the closest character to me personality wise Lon'qu: If only because of his crit quotes, like "Be silent!" and "How well will you die" Anna: Waifu I like her constant puns, plus she is a very good staff user and possible levin sword user
  10. Best: FE10 Sothe for breaking Part 1 before Big T/Naliah break what's left of it Worst: FE6 Cath for being a pain in the ass to recruit plus you have like two better thieves before you get her
  11. RD had a good concept with the different perspectives, but I felt that the DB parts were hugely imbalanced due to most of your units being nigh useless and part 3 focused too much on the already strong as hell GMs from a gameplay perspective, so the DB or CRK units had a hard time catching up to them. However, the skill system in RD was better than it was in PoR due to more customization and all that jazz and I liked the overall plot better until part 4 PoR had better (read: existant) character development, though that is mostly because the supports were actually not generic, and I liked the overall gameplay more. Unfortunately, PoR didn't have ledges, something that I thought was really innovative on my first RD playthrough and most of the units were quite usable even on higher difficulties, sans like lucia and bastian or something.
  12. School mostly. When that's not happening, I'm usually looking up stuff on Awakening or playing random stuff like Castlevania/Final Fantasy/Kirby
  13. +Luk -Spd, at least on my Hard playthrough But then I look back at all the stats and whatnot and now I'm considering +HP -Spd. This happens a lot
  14. "Think you can defeat me, the man who taught you how to fight?" Anyway, I usually try to remember Shinion's voice to forget about Mist's terrible voice
  15. These voice actors are a huge improvement from RD's (shudder). I like Virion's English voice way more now Plus the writing actually made me laugh a few times, even though I've just seen the dialogue from the first two chapters. It's nice to see NOA putting a lot of effort into this FE
  16. Fastest: FE10 4-E-4 Slowest: FE4 Chapter 2 Nominate Best/Worst AI
  17. PMU probably put on hiatus cause chapter 10 sucks and awakening is out soon

  18. Most: Zephiel Least: Marth, as well as pretty much every damn character in SD sans Hardin
  19. Best: Go Leaf! HMs: Zelgius the Brave, Oliver's Fall/Power Hungry Fool, Celice's Theme Worst: Uh, Lyon's Theme I guess
  20. [spoiler=Chapter 9] Bringing Carrion for the Elite Sword I thought that it was Noba. Stupid inconsistent translations First things first I would comment on this guy, but it would just be a rambling, angry mess because no Asvel Screw terrain Nanna starts this chapter off very nicely Brighton and Dagda do their thing Good thing I don't need to worry about collapsing roofs now I'm pretty sure that Dagda is the head of a bandit group DAMMIT, DAGDA WELP Marty is too good for this guy Hicks finishes off Merlock and gets a good level. lol2hp Captured that annoying bastard A good level for Brighton This looks threatening, but... Those stats are a little low for a lvl 12 unit I love capturing enemy bishops. So much loot Selfina: "...Those assholes..." Brighton is easily the MVP for this chapter Now he can use... uh... nothing new OW BRIGHTON, NO SHIT, I FORGOT TO GIVE THE ODO SCROLL TO LEAF. DAMMIT, MARTY I usually hoard these and pretty much never use them Master Swords for Leaf Tops Hicks' other level by 1 speed. lol2hpagain lolthrone/fort/mansion? bonuses HOW DO PEOPLE KEEP FINDING THESE? Better than a blank level for Nanna I kinda feel bad about the fact that this won't happen Good work? What has he done, exactly? Oh wait, he got me this. Good work, Carrion 30 exp for healing so imba Brighton, you are more than forgiven because of your work in this chapter What? I'm pretty sure that Jagen and Marcus are beasts and they are pretty old They aren't advancing because THEY ARE ALL DEAD Altenna, they all died. Go away. I'm just kidding, please join us
  21. I'm a fan of utility units, so tricksters are my favorite new class due to having both thief and staff utility. Battle Monks/Clerics are a close second, though
