  1. Happy Birthday, sorry for being late.

  2. Happy Birthday!!! (again)

  3. Yarne when dual-supporting: "My foot's good luck!" Yarne when critting: "No, YOU go extinct!" Ike: "I fight for my friends!" oh wait...
  4. That's a good eye you've got there. I thought I was the only one who noticed that both If... protagonists were in the trailer! But in all seriousness, as strange as this pairing of series is, I'm very excited for it. You know when Aleph, who slew god himself, and Marth, who looks great in tiaras, start going at it, there's gonna be some serious memories made from such a game.
  5. Happy Birthday!!!

  6. I'm still waiting for the Marth DLC. --------*Pokerface*--------
  7. Judging from the plot of Kakusei, I see an amnesia trend. Triple Amnesia. Timeline solved
  8. All this talk about the difference between "Hero King" and "Holy King" has really got me thinking. Though it's likely irrelevant, I didn't notice something interesting. All of the DLC characters receive a title. (I.E. Hero King Marth, Young Lion Roy, Restoration King Ephraim, etc.) While Marth's DLC title is Hero King, I find it somewhat intriguing to notice that Alm's title is "Holy King Alm." So as far as the difference between Holy King and Hero King, I'm seeing three possibilities. 1) Alm is the Holy King, or perhaps some ancestor of his was the Holy King. (Marth + Alm = Cousins?! :D) 2) The Holy King was from ancient Barensia, not Arkaneia. This or course would portray the Hero King title as Arkanean only, and the Holy King title as Barensian only, but that seems unlikely. 3) It's completely unrelated and it is merely referencing the ending dialogue of Gaiden where Alm is referred to as a Holy King. I know the first one seems extremely unlikely, but I thought it was worth noting.
  9. It seems to me that not only is Awakening trying to tie up some loose ends and offer fanservice, but also setting themselves up for several other games in the series...
  10. As soon as Awakening comes stateside, I'll be rocking quite a few different classes. Dark Knights, cuz Mark is gonna be a Dark Knight. Tomes on a horse and a gothic feel? Sign me up. Berserkers have always been some of my favorite units, and that's not gonna change when Vake turns into one. (And supports with Olivia ;D) Great Knights. Just Great Knights. My favorite class ever since Kyle from the Sacred Stones decided to look all BA and junk as a Great Knight. I can't wait to make Krom into a Great Knight. (Blessings of reclass)
  11. In order to judge the usefulness of Catria, it is first important to look at the other Pegasus Knight characters in comparison to her. When you obtain Catria, you also obtain Palla, who's bases are only slightly superior, though she is a higher level to begin with. By the point she is received, you've also had Shiida for a significant amount of time, and it is possible she's already been trained to a much higher level. Est is received VERY late in the game, and has worse growths than Catria. While neither Shiida nor Palla have poor growths, Catria's simply exceed their growths by a significant amount. Shiida's growths are all good, except in her attack stat. It is very likely that a 20/20 trained Shiida will end up with 19 strength without investment. Catria on the other hand, due to her strength growth (45%), will likely gain a point in strength every other level. She comes in at level five, which means she'll gain a point every other level until level 20. That's 7-8 points in strength to her base 6, which means she'll have 14-15 points at level 20. While unimpressive, if she is promoted and then raised to level 20 as a Dracoknight/Falcoknight, assuming she gains a point ever other level, she gainst another 10. 24-25 strength at level 20, which means she'll likely Max or come close to maxing strength. (If memory serves correctly, her max strength is 23) With these facts, it is my personal opinion that Catria is the most powerful of the Pegasus Knights available in Shadow Dragon, and possibly one of the best units in the entire game. Overall: 9/10
  12. When you first obtain Felgus, his bases can often turn people off of him. While not awful, his bases do leave something to be desired. However, almost all of his growths are high enough to counterattack this, not to mention he has a Pursuit Critical Coefficient of 5. (Essentially meaning if he doubles a unit, he is much more likely to perform a critical, only adding to his already impressive damage output.) His main issue will likely end up being his defense, which starts out at a measly 5, and his defensive growth is only 25%. This is especially troublesome in some chapters if he gets ambushed by reinforcements, and we all know how plentiful those are in Thracia. Overall 7/10
