    I understand it's not necessarily creepy there. Part of it isn't just my personal opinions but matters of localization/practicality; i don't see how people can have it both ways.

    It's definitely not a matter of people not liking change. But I honestly can't justify petting people's faces or wooing people by drugging them...let alone in a fire emblem game. How is that not creepy? I'm not saying everyone is like that! But it is clearly pandering to that kind of demographic Edit: whooops, sorry about that MODEDIT: c'mon eclipse at least merge them

    That's not to say that Fire Emblem hasn't been obviously problematic in the past, just...not this bad.

    No i can't say that about everyone, but i think people should recognize that a lot of these things are problematic.

    I'm done with this pandering to homophobia/non-consensual relationships/date-rape/pedophilia/bestiality/general creepiness and honestly it's hard for me to sympathize with people who are looking forward to those elements of the game Imma stop while I'm ahead and play some FE4

    Personally, I don't get any satisfaction out of people's disappointment, but I think it's fair for me to be relieved since I really don't think skinship has any place in the franchise. Also since Radiant Dawn, characterization hasn't seemed like a priority...besides one-dimensional stock characters defined by a single quirk

    I honestly won't feel super shortchanged if they don't give us additional content. But it's kind of hard to tell at this point, since we don't know for sure what (if anything) is being cut from the localized version.

    Why is everyone so upset about this? How is it that a franchise that used to boast interesting gameplay mechanics, well-written storylines and characters, is now pandering to weird bestiality/loli etc fetishes? Fire Emblem isn't supposed to be a waifu simulator anyway but this is just way too far and in super bad taste.

    Isn't the permanent death thing one of the things that set Fire Emblem apart from other SRPGs? The fact that your units are not expendable? I can understand making the game more accessible but I don't think this is the way to do it. I feel like they are sacrificing a lot of what made the series great to make it more user-friendly. I realize no one HAS to play in this mode but the fact that it exists cheapens the whole experience

    - When I first played FE7 I let Dorcas die and still haven't forgiven myself..even though it's..Dorcas.. - I hate how they are dumbing down the series. This is not an RPG series this is a SRPG - FIRE EMBLEM IS NOT A DATING SIM - I hate the remakes - I hate Marth and his games - I have yet to beat FE5 - I don't like the two generation thing, like in FE13 and FE4 - I love the kinds of units that everyone else seems to hate eg Wendy, trainees, Donnel, Meg, Erk, Ests - My least favorite class in general is cavaliers even tho they are useful, they are not specialized enough - Fav classes are pegasus knights and mages - I don't use laguz type units - FE13 is the most gorgeous thing i can't even
